I don’t want to return from [now]dev with just notes. I want to return with ideas worth putting into action.
Hello Folks !
Every technology event offers opportunities to discover new capabilities, explore emerging trends, and learn from experts.
But for me, the real value begins after the event, when we turn those insights into something meaningful.
As a ServiceNow architect and community contributor, I’m heading to [now]dev with a few expectations.
- Learn How Others Are Building What’s Next
We’re entering an exciting phase of enterprise technology where AI Agents, intelligent workflows, and automation are changing how solutions are designed and delivered.
I’m particularly interested in learning how fellow developers and architects are approaching challenges such as:
- Building reusable AI Agents instead of reinventing solutions.
- Reducing complexity in enterprise workflows.
- Designing AI solutions with the right governance and controls.
- Improving AI efficiency, context management, and token consumption.
- Moving from technical experimentation to measurable business outcomes.
I’m excited to discover practical approaches that can help organizations build smarter and more sustainable solutions.
- Gain Perspectives Beyond My Own Experience
One of the greatest advantages of being part of a community is realizing that there’s rarely only one way to solve a problem.
A developer might approach a challenge differently from an enterprise architect. A platform owner might focus on scalability, while an AI engineer might focus on efficiency and performance.
Every perspective adds value.
I want to listen, ask questions, and challenge some of my own assumptions.
Because learning isn’t always about finding answers. Sometimes it’s about discovering better questions.
- Turn Learning into Community Contributions
This is probably the outcome I’m most excited about.
Throughout my ServiceNow journey, community contributions and mentoring have been important parts of my professional growth.
I want to take what I learn at [now]dev and translate it into practical knowledge that others can use.
That could mean writing technical articles, sharing architecture patterns, mentoring developers, or helping someone solve a challenge they’ve been struggling with.
Knowledge becomes more valuable when it moves beyond the person who learned it.
- Build Relationships That Continue Beyond the Event
Two days might seem short, but meaningful connections can last for years.
I’m looking forward to meeting people who challenge my thinking, inspire new ideas, and share the same passion for building better solutions.
And hopefully, some of those conversations will continue long after [now]dev ends.
What Would Make [now]dev Successful for Me?
Not the number of sessions I attend.
Not the number of photos I take.
And certainly not the number of connections I collect.
Success would mean returning with three things: a new perspective, a practical idea I can implement, and a meaningful connection I can continue learning from.
That’s what I’m hoping to bring back from [now]dev.
If you’re attending, I’d love to hear what you’re most excited to learn or explore.
Let’s connect, share, and build what’s next together!
