The Shift from Commercial ROI to Public Value and Resilience

As CMAs, our seat at the table with the C-Suite is vital. However, the deck that we present to a Private Sector CTO will fall flat in front of a Federal Government Senior Executive Service (SES) officer. While the tools are the same, the "Value Drivers" can be worlds apart. Engaging an Executive on a ServiceNow roadmap requires two different "languages" depending on the sector. 

So, what are these differences, and how do we cater for each C-suite executive from these differing sectors?

Some of us have the privilege of working across multiple sectors in our current roles, some of us may be focused only on Government, or Private.  Having worked across various private sectors and levels of Government, these are my insights.
