What do you create?   

This year, I'm approaching my  500 th contribution. Most of these are articles on the ServiceNow Community, but they also include Share projects, livestreams, videos, podcasts, and occasionally a presentation on stage.

I don't reply as much as I used to on Community posts anymore. Nowadays it feels like an unhealthy battle where people don't always respect each other, and that's not where I want to spend my time and energy.

 

Another thing you might know me from?

Spamming your LinkedIn timeline about  200  times a year 😅.

 

How did you get that started? 

Before joining this industry, things looked very different for me. I was made obsolete and let go alongside 20,500 colleagues. A moment that hit me hard and felt like a major setback.

 

That moment led me to a small consultancy boutique within the ServiceNow ecosystem. 

 

I joined knowing very little about ServiceNow, but the openness and welcomeness of the ServiceNow Community gave me the opportunity to grow incredibly fast at exactly the moment I needed it. That mindset played a huge role in helping me rebuild and get to where I am today.

 

This inspired me to start contributing myself by answering questions and writing articles. I thought it would be fun to work on my own knowledge and skills while giving back. Fast forward a few years, still going strong 😀.

 

Why do you keep sharing?

I share because I genuinely want to give back to the ServiceNow Community. But sharing also teaches me.

 

It sharpens hard skills, strengthens my soft skills, improves how I communicate and help others, and more. To me, it feels like taking ownership of my own continuous growth, instead of simply following a mandatory company development plan that doesn't always fit.

 

And that commitment has been rewarded with another MVP title, my 11 th. Only four others worldwide can say the same.

 

From being obsolete to becoming an  11 -time ServiceNow MVP! How about that?
