[Music] hi everyone it's justin thank you for watching in this video i want to talk about the vendor portal or the vendor assessment portal this is something that comes with vendor risk management and servicenow and it's a way for your vendors to come into service now respond to your requests for assessments questionnaires reports documentation and interact with you all through a portal where they can self-serve i'm logged in as chad stark one of our demo personas first thing i want to show you is you can turn over the management of the access to the vendor portal to a primary contact within vendor risk so i've got here chad can come in and actually invite a contact to be part of this particular company that he's representing within the within the service now there is the ability to have a higher rp of vendors by the way so if he was part of a parent organization or a subsidiary he would have the appropriate level of access depending on where he is in that in addition to managing the contacts and specifying whether they're primary or not he can also manage the engagement contact so here we have an engagement around the gmail cloud email product and he can come in and say hey alyssa is going to be the primary contact or i want to remove li-woo from this particular engagement and then they'd be the contacts for those engagements going forward i go back home to the portal i'm just going to change the url up here at the top and hop over there a little bit more quickly the other things they can do in that in this portal is respond to any assessments or document requests that you sent them there we go finally loaded up the way i wanted it so if you see here i've got an assessment summary for cloud msp and then there's those engagements we were just messing around with on the manage of the contact side of this let's open up cloud msp and see what kind of things we can request from a vendor to respond i've got a security risk assessment for 2021 and in this assessment there's going to be multiple phases or multiple sets of questions documentation you can provide so notice here i got business resiliency compliance privacy sig core 2021 if i open up sig core there are a thousand questions that they need to complete in this so you're gonna see things where we're tracking percent complete on the different sections they have to fill out and providing all that information and you've got a little handy key over here on the right left hand side to actually see okay i need to go in and complete the access control section this used to be done in spreadsheets that were emailing back and forth between a vendor manager and the vendor themselves notice in here they can save it as draft they can exit they can import something or they can come out to the assessment itself and say hey i've got an issue with something or they can respond to information from that so you've got issues here i've got tasks they can resubmit it they can change who's assigned to certain things so if this a thousand question things that they don't want to answer if he wants to say hey alyssa is going to do this one he can go switch this to alyssa and she'll now be the assignee for that i'm going to regret pushing that button earlier uh later uh but we'll uncheck that and uh see that now with the vendor portal not now it's been here for a little bit but the vendors can come in manage all this stuff get out of the spreadsheets and the emails back and forth with you and your team and just make things more efficient and better for both your company and the vendor i hope you found this video helpful if you did please like please subscribe or share it with somebody you think might be interested and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Music] you
