Hub Import Enhancements in ServiceNow® Vancouver Release
hello everyone good day today we are going to discuss about integration Hub import enhancements in vancore release by using integration Hub we can import the data to multiple Target tables from The Source table when we are using the transform map we will be having only one single Source table to one single Target table we can transer from the data by using integration Hub we can do it for multiple Target tables open the instance and search as integration Hub import or integration Hub so you can see integration Hub import click on that and this is a integration Hub UI let me create a new integration let me give the name and short description save and continue so this is the UI of the integration Hub and we have three three steps to fulfill the integration hub first one is the source configuration second one is map to Target third one is schedule Imports let me select the source type in Source type we will be having two types one is file other one is Spokes if you are interested to go with spokes you can create a spok and you can select it in the integration Hub I'm going with the file in file we will be having again two formats one is Excel other one is CSV let me go with the Excel so after selecting Excel you can upload your Excel file here let me do that let me upload the Excel file and this is also a new configuration in vancor release here you can see sheet name and header row these are not present in the integration Hub import directly these are present in the data sources only and now we can see the sheet name sheet name uh in the Excel we are using two sheets if you are using three sheets it will show sheet one sheet two or sheet three whatever names you giving in the Excel I have two sheets and in first sheet I have only these two Fields name and email let me go to the second sheet let me select it and let me save this in second sheet I have three Fields name email and phone after saving that you can see all the fields related to the sheet two and here you can see in sheet two I have all these three Fields you can preview The Source data and if you want to change uh name of the integration Hub or if you want to change any short description you can do it from the properties let me move to the Second Step map to Target now what are the fields we are seeing in the source data we need to map all those fields to the Target tables and here and here you can add multiple tables not a single table let me add user table first so user table will have all those three Fields let me load this page let's load this page it's taking little amount of time and here my table sore user table and if you want to uh stop running business rules on this particular table you can do it by unchecking this let me save this and we are added a Target table and here you you can see not it mapped we are not mapping any field let me open this and we can map the fields and here you can see in Source data we are having total three fields and in those three Fields also you can see these fields are not mapped to the Target table Target table is empty so after mapping these three fields to the Target table data you can see it as checked here check marks you can see small check marks let me do that so click on Auto map and you can do all matching fields in the Target table so all the fields are mapped here and here you can see email is mapped to email and phone phone is mapped to phone and name is ma to name and here you can see all these three fields are checked after mapping to the Target table and if you want to change anything on the mapping you can go to the mapping properties and you can check or uncheck the uh properties is mentioned in the Target tables let me save this and go back and add other table I have created one table that is it Hub let me use that table to map the data yeah this is my table I have created it and let's use this table to map the fields so here you can see not at map let's open and let's click on Auto map so so that it will map all the fields from The Source table to the Target Table after that uh let's show you one more thing let's save this and go to Source configuration sorry map to Target and here you can see transform settings by clicking on this transform settings you can import the data in a batches you can give the batch size here by checking theb B you can see the transform logs if you are unchecking it you cannot see the transform logs or you can copy empty Fields these transform settings are also added into the integration Hub input before that we don't have this on integration Hub input we are using to do it on the particular tables and we have scripts also execute on before script and on after script we can do it directly in the integration Hub import so let's go back and let's schedule our import let's open our integration and let's schedule our import click on run UT so that it will schedule the import for us and you can refresh the page so that you can see the executions it is already done let me open the user table and let me open the it Hub table also _ it _ hub. list let me open this and let's see is that data is inserted into this particular table so not before that I have only two records now you can see other two records are inserted let me show in sheet two I have test and user these two records are inserted into the IT Hub test and user these two records and same you can see it in the user table also user and test these are the records will be inserted into the user table and it Hub we are uh inserting it into the two target tables from a single Source table this is how we can use the integration Hub import thank you [Music]
