this video shows how field agents can use the field service contractor mobile application to view and manage the work order tasks assigned to them the intuitive field service contractor app enables field agents to quickly View and manage tasks let's first look at how a typical work order assignment is created and [Music] assigned the dispatcher clicks new on the work order page and selects a template that populates the short description company and contact Fields he chooses an asset that populates the tasks location and then saves the form the dispatch group is picked based on the location of the work order task the dispatcher chooses an assignment group representing the contractor company that will work on the task and assigns the work order task to K Daniels a manager at the company this work order task appears as a task under open tasks in K's field service contractor mobile app as a manager K can reassign this task to an agent or work on it himself he opens the task and Scrolls down to look at the details he can accept or reject the task he decides to accept it when K Taps start work the task status changes to work in progress after inspection Kay finds that the router needs a new cooling fan he needs additional information so he goes to the Articles Tab and pulls up an article on routers K replaces the new cooling fan but he needs to document the replacement so he Taps part selects Ed part and chooses router cooling fan the router is fixed so K returns to the task Taps close complete adds a closure note and marks it complete K took a cab to the customer's location to add this commute expense he Taps on the action icon selects the expense type as car rental enters the trip details and Taps submit and that's how agents can easily manage their work order tasks with the field service contractor mobile app for more information see our product documentation or knowledge base or ask a question in the service now community
