Service Operations Workspace performance updates for the Washington DC release

Import · Jan 29, 2024 · article

To improve the performance of the Service Operations Workspace (SOW), the following improvements have been made in the Washington DC release:

  • Reduced the time taken to load the SOW home page with a medium dataset to load by almost 50%. To achieve this, the loading time of the Announcement section of the landing page was reduced by 1 - 2 seconds while using a medium data set.
  • In the Utah and previous releases, the loading time when a user added child incidents using the following navigation was very high. Now the loading time has been reduced significantly.

Service Operations Workspace > Incidents > child incident RL > Add.

Note: The performance improvement won’t be visible if an end-user has applied a custom column sorting on the related list.

  • Reduced the time taken significantly for the load of the Calls tab, which shows several conference call cards. If you select any conference card, a drill-down view appears. The loading time of this view has also been reduced significantly.
  • Interaction record load time was reduced drastically for the requester info, form load and related record access.
  • In a Twilio Notify Conference call with more than 50 participants, the first 50 participants are added to a conference call in synchronous mode, and the rest are added to the conference call in the background. This enables you to continue work without waiting to process all the participants.
