Integration Hub | Set up a bi-directional Jira webhook
[Music] let's create a bidirectional Jiro web hook in our service now instance so that we can receive real-time notifications from jira about events like issue creation updates and resolutions we're in the Jiro web hook registry application of the service now instance first we select new and give the registry a name and description next select create new token give the token a name description and in the token field assign a strong password for the token then select submit now we'll save the completed registry a call back URL is generated we'll need the URL in the next stab so let's copy it to create a web hook in our jira account we navigate to the web hook system settings select create a web hook give it a name and paste the copied call back URL into the URL field then choose the jira events we want to be notified [Music] about and select create finally we need to make a new web hook routing policy in our service now instance routing policies Define conditions that must be met to trigger one of our subflows from flow designer for instance creating an incident where an issue is created in Dura we'll select new here we need to define the condition and choose which subflow needs to be used when the condition is met in the label field enter a name for the policy create a condition to Define when the policy should be applied and choose an action that will be executed when the condition is [Music] met select submit there our service now instance is configured to receive notifications from jira ensuring we're always up to date with jira activity for more information see our product documentation or knowledge base or ask a question in the service now [Music] community
