[Music] hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house in this video I want to talk to you about one of my favorite service Now features and that's the platform analytics workspace in the Vancouver release we now have the ability to duplicate a dashboard or dashboard Tab and I think this is so cool I wanted to make a video about it so let's head over to platform analytics workspace I'm in my PDI let's get rid of actually I can leave all that stuff up and now I've got my dashboard that I've created for Justin's house and I want to show you how easy and I want you to also pay attention to how fast this actually works so if you're not familiar platform analytics workspace is where you should be building your dashboards um that's why I'm using them in my workspace and you should be using them too now I'm on my content page this this is monitoring all the content I'm creating on YouTube and other social media so I'm going to click the edit button and show you what's new first look at the upper right hand corner we've got a vertical ellipses right there I want you to click the vertical ellipses and notice I've got a duplicate so I can take this whole dashport whether or not I have right permissions to this dashboard and I can make a copy I'll call it instead of Justin's house let's call it Bob's house and now I've got all the same stuff the tabs and everything go and duplicate it so you can see it this actually take a second and I'm not surprised by that the speed is still pretty impressive so now I've got Bob's house dashboard with everything that was on there all showing on my new dashboard so that's pretty cool let's head back to analytics Center and let me show you go back to Justin's house and show you what else is cool in here again I'm going to hit edit and now instead of using the vertical ellipses for the entire dashboard I can do it for a particular tab so on the content tab here I've got what 1 2 3 four five widgets Plus plus this list down here so I'm just going to hit duplicate and Bam just like that I've got a duplicate tab everything's duplicated all my filters all my data sources and the sizing and everything is done all I have to do is come in here and rename this to whatever I want to call it we'll just call it my new tab instead of Untitled I'm going to save this I'm going to exit editing mode and now I've got my new tab which is just like my content tab that fast I'm in my PDI everybody I'm not in the production instance and you saw how fast that Happ happen now just to make sure I don't wonder what the heck's going on when I come in here later I'm going to go ahead and delete that and save it and get out of editing mode again and that is the new Vancouver feature that I wanted you to see in platform analytics workspace I hope you found this video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share it with somebody who you think might be interested in duplicating dashboards or duplicating tabs in their dashboard in platform analytics workspace and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Music] n
