Getting started with Employee Center

Import · Dec 12, 2023 · video

hello everyone good morning good afternoon and good evening our topic for today is getting started with employees Center this is a live on service now webinar and we will be giving you a foundational overview of all features and functionalities associated with employee Center my name is SMY I'm an outborn product manager with service now in the unified employee experience team I'm joined by Puja Gupta here um you must have met her on several occasions she's senior manager outbound product management with service now in unified employee experience team we'll be Manning the Q&A panel today so please post your questions in the Q&A panel today's session is a part of live on service now a curated event series to connect you with service now experts and peers that can help you deploy your products and Achieve value faster so we hope you join us again at other events like Academy sessions office hours road map webinars and other deployment webinars I'll be briefing about all such events at the end of this session some basic housekeeping since this is a webinar format you're all on mute so if you have a question feel free to raise your hand and we can permit you to unmute and talk but for the duration of the presentation please use the Q&A panel to ask your questions through throughout the session like I said we'll be monitoring the Q&A panel and help you address your questions so if you do talk please introduce yourself since it's always nice to have a little context that helps us identify who you are what exactly is the challenge that you're facing and any relevant information around the ask that helps us understand the question better then um this is session is recorded and it will be shared by community so please don't worry about taking notes the slides as well as the recording will be shared on community in about a week or so and after the session ends you'll be prompted with a short survey so we will really appreciate if you could just spend a couple of minutes to take that before we get started like in any of these presentations you can understand that we can bring up some of the road map items or forward-looking statements so just wanted to call out the Safe Harbor before we dive deep into any of the content and please keep in mind as you're reviewing this webinar to treat any such statement as a guideline of our vision or intent and not as contract written commitment so with the audience in mind we are going to start with an introduction to employee Center I'll talk about what it is why we built it and so on and then we will dive deeper into the features and functionalities I'll also open an instance and walk you through it and then we will jump in into additional resources so for some of the questions that we are not covering as part of this session we'll give you resources to explore further for topics like how do we migrate onto employee Center or how do we deploy employee Center also we are not covering the taxonomy design guidelines or how do you design the portal experience we are not covering just the implementation details this session is about learning what is employee Center and an overview of all the employee Center features and capabilities we will help you with additional resources and we also have additional sessions that are planned as part of live on service now events umbrella so we recommend you to table those questions for those sessions and focus more on just learning about employee andent this so let's get started in general if you think about the experience that most organizations have it's overwhelming like what you see on the left hand side of this Slide the employees bombarded with multiple different portals multiple different channels to get help from different departments they don't exactly know where they should go to get the solutions that they are looking for or get the answers that they are looking for the most common example that we have come across is that employee was trying to raise a request and as they were searching across the interet or even the procurement portal but they needed to be on the it portal so that's a lot of futile search and frustrating experience for the employee this is a common scenario that you would see in most organizations where the employee has to spend a lot of time just to get to where they can solve for their needs and then the time taken for solving um the need or the SLA for the request to be fulfilled that is secondary the experience that most employees expect and should be getting is what is presented on the right hand side like a single place where they don't have to think about whe whether this is the right place or not or where do I go from here but a single place where they can search for every that they need and that single place knows what the employee needs are and what is their preference in terms of serving those needs this experience should be on the channel it should be available to employees wherever they currently are be it web portal or mobile or even conversational interfaces like teams and the experience should be consistent across all these different channels that the employee may be navigating through that's the intention with which employee Center has been developed so if you think about employee Center it is the actionable digital front end that we are creating for organizations not just for Service delivery like it Service delivery or HR of workplace and so on but also for informing and engaging employees with personalized and actionable Communications and driving productivity so these are some of the screenshots that you can see for employee Center I'll walk you through the portal view of it in this session we are not covering the mobile aspect of it and conversational Integrations like teams or slack aspect of it but um keep that in mind while you are uh building employee Center that you could build a consistent experience across other channels as well essentially employee Center is designed to increase self service Drive Employee Engagement and improve employee productivity as I've just stated when it comes to the portal aspect our goal is to help organizations transition from Silo portals to a modern internet experience most organizations currently have Sil out portals so there's a separate portal for it there's a separate portal for HR there's probably a different portal for Point Solutions like it could be workday or Ariba or sap or something else and again there are multiple different places that the manager needs to go to get their task done or the employee needs to go to these different portals to make their requests and so on we want to help organizations move away from those Silo portals to an enterprise portal that is multi- departmental nature and acts as a single access point for many different applications or many different portals that the employee may have to end up going in now we do have inter over here on the right hand side but we believe that even getting to an enterprise portal or having an internet separate like U getting to an enterprise portal and having an internet separate it's a wind in terms of experience that the organizations can create and this is pretty much the first step in creating much better experience for your organization so it really depends on what suits your organizational needs best as long as your moving away from the Sout portals approach that adds friction to the employee experience in terms of key attributes the slide summarizes it really well there are three things to think about for employee Center first it is completely designed to be employee Centric so the content that is put on employee Center can be personalized for the end user driven out of user criteria or machine learning recommendations or even use user driven personalizations with widgets like my favorites also it is Omni channel so aligning with the whole goal of having a consistent experience employee Center capabilities are aligned with the now mobile platform as well as Microsoft Integrations so you would see that employee Center can be completely embedded in Microsoft channels like teams Outlook or Microsoft 365 apps second employee Center is designed to be easy to deploy and maintain so it comes for a lot of different widgets a lot of pages in which it's preconfigured for the customer it is designed to be dynamic so the organization or admins don't have to maintain every little page and every little thing separately a lot of experiences on employee Center are autocreated we have built and preconfigured a lot of design elements and shipped it out of box and just like topic Pages there are a lot of pages that are automatically populated and dynamic in nature so it's very easy to deploy and maintain we have also made it easy to configure the employee Center is built on service portal text tack available within service now platform so all the capabilities that are associated with the service portal text app including being able to create or move wigets around being able to Brand the portal or having 200 plus outof thee box wigets that are available for organizations to create an experience that they want it's it's all there thirdly we are really looking to make sure employee Center is able to be very well integrated and can be extended for multiple different use cases so whenever the pages or widgets are being designed extensibility is a key factor that is accounted for and there are a lot of pre-built Integrations that we have with employee Center like SharePoint etm providers and social platforms now these Integrations may have implications with skes Associated behind them so I would recommend going through the skes to understand the Integrations and last but not least it can be customized just like any other capability within service now platform form now this is another thing to remember and keep in mind as you think about employee Center it comes in two packages employee Center and employee Center Pro it is a single portal and they both have the same extension backs slash ASC to be a little technical here but they come with two different packages employe Center gives you all the capabilities that you would need for a multi- department Service delivery like requ and knowledge it also comes with the curated taxonomy personalized and connected experiences employee Center is available to all our service now customers so basically we we want all our customers to have a foundation that is consumer gr grade and sets them up for doing more and greater things with service now and employee Center creates that Foundation now employe Center Pro it's an extension to employee Center so it's basically the same portal that extends with extra capabilities and it includes a lot of cool functionalities like targeted and actionable Communications you can think of it as running campaigns and targeting different messaging messages based on the audience that you Define enterprise search which is essentially a term that we used to describe searching for Content that may be sitting outside of service now for example SharePoint and searching for it directly from within service now we have something called app launcher in which you can actually integrate with your SSO to highlight all the applications that you would need directly on the portal so a lot of tailored and Persona driven experiences are also shipped as part of employe in Pro that is why what you see here it's much richer than employee Center and this is a premium offering it is available with customers who have hrsd Pro or Enterprise license or it can also be licensed separately as a standalone skew if there are any questions on licensing please feel free to ask in the Q&A this is an important thing to know because before you start deploying you would want to know which fund you have access to one more thing that I want to call out here is that service now allows all our customers to try different products in their subro environment so if you do not want to play around with employee Center Pro um if you do want to uh play around with employee Center Pro you can do that in your subpro environment okay so let's get into our second half we'll be doing a feature work through and there are three main paradigms that I'll focus on during this discussion first one is how are we building a unified search and browse experience on employ Center second one is actionable employee Communications including Dynamic topic micro sites and use capability and third one is personalized tasking and approval Integrations so let's get started with unified browsing search experience as I've uh mentioned already earlier people navigating to Legacy portals would often be confused whether they need to raise a request to get something done or if they could serve themselves by reading an article so before curated experiences let's say if a user needs help with an issue on his laptop should he be going to service catalog to raise a request or should he be going to knowledge base to find out what Sol Solutions are available for self serve users would be often confused going back and forth between these different pages and it wasn't a good experience but with curated experiences we have resolved that conundrum by providing functionalities that makes content Discovery easy and employ Centric curated experiences um creates experiences across the portal that makes it effortless for your employees to find and explore content that is relevant for them so there are a bunch of different widgets different pages and different experiences that we have created which are together called curated experiences including popular topics widget Mega menu navigation and dynamic topic Pages cated experiences creates Dynamic topic Pages which actually has knowledge articles catalog items quick links R content wigets displaying employee Communications and relevant applications all tagged to the topic page which it is relevant for curated experiences essentially eliminates the need for employees to go to different pages to explore different kinds of content the entire curated experiences functionality is driven by unified content taxonomy unified content tonomy also called content tonomy is a collection of hierarchal topics that brings together different content types requests articles quick links employee Communications across departments into a single employ Centric tonomy so UniFi tonomy brings together all these different content types and TX it to a three tier topic structure for example the outof thee boox tonomy shipped pH your instance is called employee taxonomy and one of the parent topic is called it the first level of child topic could be hardware and the next level of child topic could be computers you could of course configure this um tonomy topics as per your organizational needs but our recommendation would be to not go beyond the three tiers it is recommended to clone the out of thebox employee tonomy in order to modify by add or create an organization specific hierarchy content authors can tag catalog items knowledge articles employ Communications like videos campaigns or announcements and even applications or quick links to the tonomy topics once the cont content is tagged to the tonomy topics admins can apply user criteria to Define which content is available to Any Given user for instance in above Ed example parent topic it could have a number of child topics like Hardware software security network and so on and Hardware could have various other child topics like computers printers accessories phones Etc further child topic computers could have various catalog items like incident request new laptop request monitor request linked to it apart from that computers topic would have various knowledge articles also linked to it uh basically the resources guiding users for self- serve so basically each of these uh topic could have a topic micrite built onto that page for easy communication of additional details to the employees like team members overlooking that topic or help desk details Etc just to reiterate here there are a bunch of different widgets different pages and different experiences that we have created which are together called curated experiences for example we have a popular topics widget right on the homepage which surfaces topics which are of most interest between your peers or users with similar profile other functionalities included with curated experiences are Dynamic topic pages and the mega menu navigation included as part of the employe center header let's say as an end user for employ sender portal I want to request an ITA asset I navigate to the mega menu on the top which is a part of employee Center header and when I click on the topics on that header I would be able to explore all the different subtopics that are covered within that topic each of these topics would lead to a dynamic topic page where topic owners could link catalog items knowledge articles quick links employee Communications under a single page this eases the discovery process for the employees finally users can access the catalog item or knowledge articles by clicking on the content resources tagged to these topics now let me move to an instance to explain the employee Center employee Center Pro homepage and topic page better now this is a fairly outof thebox employee Center Pro instance configured majorly with demo data that we also ship out of the box the mega menu highlights different menu items like it HR are workplace Etc pointing to the multi- department nature of this portal and you can browse the different subtopics available with each root topic here so before we move to the topic pages on the homepage itself we have the content experiences viset here that's used for displaying the targeted actionable Communications to the employees here for for example uh the benefits enrollment or the annual goal setting reminders and so on then we have the my active items widget here that displays all the action items for the employees like task request surveys Etc then content recommendations surface up here on recommended for you visit based on popularity of content items or based on users profile via machine learning algorithms if you have the license to our predictive intelligence system that is typically through our hrsd Pro or idsm Pro skes now let's skip the news feed widget here for now we have already talked about the popular topics widget it basically uh displays all the uh popular content items based on popularity of content items maximum views on knowledge articles or maximum request of catalog items here then the quick links widget supports linking to frequently accessed items like service catalog or knowledge articles or even external URLs so I could link my company website here I could link the career website that could be an external URL or I could um link frequently accessed portal Pages like system status or password resetter the video wiget and the app launcher widget these are only available for employee Center Pro the app launcher has been designed to access all assigned applications directly from the employee Center Pro homepage and um it is pre-integrated with Azure ad and OCTA and can be extended to other SSO providers as well let's move on to the topic page so this is one of the topic Pages we have um again the content experiences header on the top this is a static Banner for employees Center um instances and for employee Center Pro instances just like the homepage it can be targeted and actionable uh banners where all your communication pieces can go and you can um request your uh users to um put in some action on those communication banners then we have the subtopics or the child topics in this visit here for it topic I have all the subtopics as Hardware software Network privacy and security it for it developer services and so on I can click on any of these subtopics to land onto that subtopic topic page then we have the support resources visit here basically um whatever catalog items or knowledge articles have been linked to this particular topic I can see it here in card layout Or List layout right I can Mark any of these items as featured so it will be uh marked as a feature tag and it will be uh showcase as the first item in the list I can filter by requests or knowledge articles and I can search within this topic page as well so we understand that organizations might have linked um n number of knowledge articles or catalog items on this particular topic which might make it cumbersome for the users to search so we have provided search within this topic page if you're looking for any particular resources then on the right hand side uh we can have a quick links visit so I can add quick links specific to this particular topic here then I have the related news widget I can add any of the news articles that is relevant for this particular topic on this topic page and then I have the app launcher visit here where I can tag um all the applications that are relevant for this particular top uh topic here now this was about the browse experience quickly coming on to the search experience if I am looking for any particular um resource let's say printer and I have accidentally entered a wrong spelling here but the AI search it puts up suggestions of what the right keyword you might be looking for so the uh the AI search here has corrected my spelling mistake as are you looking for printer instead of what you have typed here then we have the genius Source result card here that suggests results um based on machine learning algorithms like is this what you're looking for it can be a knowledge article or it can be a catalog item then I have all the results be it knowledge article or catalog items or external links or news articles um it will be displayed here and on the left hand side um I have the provision to configure the topic based filters or search facets here like it can be a topic or it can be subtopics and I can filter it down all my results on the basis of topics then I can search for people or I can search for request or I can search for knowledge articles or news items or even external links all right moving back to our slide deck so we have covered the uh Dynamic topic Pages here we have covered the mega menu and popular topics on homepage page then uh we have covered uh the how to request a catalog item or request Services once I click on any of the resources that um you could see on the support resources visit on the topic page you would uh either be redirected on a knowledge article view page or a catalog item view page as you can see on the screenshots here then we have covered the AI search and we have also covered search on topic pages and a topic based facets then uh we have also discussed the quick links on um um the homepage and the topic Pages then we have also discussed about the app launcher now as you're moving into a multi- department view organizations typically struggle with autonomy of different business units over the respective topics so they don't want to lose owners ership they want to own their respective content so we have something called distributed ownership of taxonomy topics so essentially as part of portal governance you can have different business units or departments let's say it or HR or procurement or workplace each of these own their topics and manage all these subtopics associated with it as well as the content associated with it the tonomy admins can assign to topic managers for each topic who will be responsible for managing topic subtree and subtopics within and also for defining template of the topic Pages what wigets to place where what wigets to exclude Etc and in addition to that taxonomy admins can also Define taxonomy contributors who will be able to associate or dissociate catalog items knowledge articles and other content types to these topics so this is a great way to make sure that departments are able to own their content and are not always hang having to go through a central team to manage their resources let's quickly move on to employee Communications employee Communications functionalities facilitate targeted content and Communications aimed to meet employees where they are at the right time for example alerting the employees in a specific office location that the South elevat will be undergoing maintenance on Friday it works with the main goals of driving Employee Engagement informing and communicating with employees and driving actions on priority tasks so content managers can create three kinds of content experiences first is time based which can be news or announcements for example recurring announcements like quarterly company financials or events perks initiatives Etc second can be action-based which drives action via content and tasking for example open enrollment return to work policy acknowledgements and so on the third can be situation based or how we internally call it as always on content for example birthday anniversaries new hires Etc content publishing in employee Center is the main capability used to schedule and Target individual items of content to communicate to various employee audiences now Content Library allows content managers to manage content by enabling them to design their content with easy to use no code configurations they can preview their content as they are creating it and preview how it looks on the portal then they can assign audiences and schedule their content for sending or viewing immediately or within a date window so let's quickly move on to the instance organizations can enhance the topic page experience by embedding rich and engaging HTML content to guide the employees in a better manner these topic micro sites can be tied to taxonomy topics making it easier for employees to discover them for example here on the software topic page we have built out this awesome looking micro site which is informing employ about the software news about the software support resources as well as the team which is responsible for serving the software needs this capabil is enabled by the rich content widget that comes embedded out of the box within topic pages so content managers can simply add the content here through the drag and drop interface of the rich content editor let me show you how the this is done on the back end so on the back end I can quickly navigate to Content Library and click on create new I can see U the various platform options for which I can create content for example for articles and pages I can either create a news article or a rich content then for portal I have style content video URL image P link events Banner R text calendar Etc then mobile then notifications then to-dos and so on let's see how the rich content item works I click on create new and I give my content a name then open the r content editor now um this is a very functional um R content editor here with the blank canvas and the drag and drop elements that I can simply drag onto my canvas and start creating my U content um with our August release this year we have also shipped out of the box templates forage content editor be it vertical card layout or horizontal card layout or side by side layout so I can um start creating my rich content without having to um go through a lot of trouble I'll have the template ready I can simply click on these elements start editing it out to put my content here click on the images put my images there and my rich content U content would be ready for publishing now um let's move on to uh the news functionality news capability has been designed to inform the employees about um the important internal company news we've launched an endtoend news experience including both front-end news experience and backend authoring and Publishing experience we have a dedicated news enter page with navigation news article viewing page and news feed widget let's just U see a demo of all these on the instance since um employee news is also integrated with Rich content editor the drag and drop interface of the rich content editor that I've just shown you um that makes news authoring a breeze as a result customers have nice looking news articles built out easily that delivers company news and other information through the news center we have also eased the publishing flow of the news article that saves the content authors the hassle to create new publishing plans again and again every time for a news article via content destinations and content templates and then since news is integrated with content publishing so all the features that we have for the content items today will be available for news as well including translations targeting scheduling ownership and governance let's quickly move on to the instance we have placed the new center navigation out of the box on the mega menu here that redirects to a dedicated page like this um called the news center which highlights all the published news articles and featured news items it houses all the published news articles that are targeted to this user and I can see the uh featured news carousal here this is the featured news carousal which has this beautiful looking card layout the content authors can choose to display a priority news item as featured news here or it can be displayed on this news feed viset here which has a list layout now as you can see um this widget now as you could U see this widget is quite configurable in the sense that I can control the number of items that I want to display on this page I could choose to uh display or um hide the thumbnail image of the news article or um if I want to display the news sub headline here or not right then we have the video visit here and the upcoming events vigit here you could add um relevant information on these wigets here now every news article would um redirect to this kind of a um news article Details page which would have an article headline a sub headline and a featured image or a thumbnail image and the content body this can be built through the rich content editor so you have the flexibility to add images text videos here whatever is relevant for your news article and just to keep the users engaged once they are run uh once they are done reading this news article we have added an other news vet a that can be used to display additional news articles relevant for user now another interesting use case for uh targeting new articles to relevant users is through tonomy topics um let's say on this HR topic page here the content author wants to display the news article um related to the HR topic they can publish that news article on the related news uh visit here as I've shown you previously as well now uh with the August 2023 release we have uh made um R content as well as the news articles searchable via AI search so this means if I try to search for the term um expense here the expense reporting news article it shows up um on the U sech results here under the news Tab and um when I click on it it directly opens the news article details now any of these news um feed widgets could be placed on any of the portal Pages as required through the page designer for example I have placed a news feed widget for uh displaying the latest news right on the homeage itself you could place this news feed widget on your EC Pro homepage through the page designer now employee news um uses the same interface as micro sites that is the rich content editor the advantage here is that our um content authors are already familiar um with the drag and drop functionality of the r content editor Additionally the r content editor offers a much better um better authoring experience than purely knowledge based news content and news can be authored just as we do for micros sides content via the rich content editor as shown here on the left on the right hand side we have the news article publishing experience screenshot with a pre-existing template we can automatically generate various plans that determines how news is targeted to which viset location on the portal how long will that article be live within that viset and which audience will be targeted for that news content so with each of these publishing plans we can generate news articles with minimal clicks that delivers companywide news or even targeted news to specific rules or geographies only now the last thing in terms of communications that I want to discuss is content governance as you're building an enterprise portal we want it to be easy for different stakeholders and employees to be able to request Communications that need to be made on the portal at different places so within employe Center Pro we ship an endtoend workflow enabling business stakeholders to request content from the communications or content team ability to track the request throughout the process of content creation creation and Publishing and finally ability for Content managers to send the content for review to the original requestor prior to publishing and that communication comes out as an approval in a personalized tasking on the my active items viset on homepage so it is completely integrated workflow end to designed for the employee to be able to request Communications and actually see it through directly on the portal itself now um quickly coming on to the third part of our presentation personalized tasking experience for personalized tasking experience ultimately what we have done is uh we have this viset called my active items um um on the homepage um you can see the screenshot on the left here which is bringing in all the task all the request and you can configure it to bring surveys uh to bring reservations appointments anything else that you may have which could could be an active item for an employee and we have designed this widget to be such that it is completely extensible to include any custom or external task now we have preconfigured it for approvals campaigns Journeys learnings and all the other existing task that we have within the service now we can also have the agents assigned task which could be a communication task or it could be anything that they have as part of communication campaign and on the right hand side of screenshot you can see that once you click on any of the item you would get to my to-dos page or my task page and there's very nice view of what is open what is complete and the employees is able to get the information associated with that task or request very nicely highlighted and the admins can configure what information is highlighted how it is highlighted for each of these requests this is a functionality that is available for EC so all customers have this access what task are available depends on um like what license you have so if you have an hrst Enterprise license you get the journey task and learning task and so on but um this whole experience is available for all customers when the employee Center Pro comes into picture you can actually bring in external approvals or task into the system and showcase it over here so for those Integrations you would require employee Center Pro one last thing um we also added um in our November release last year was that you can filter these Tas based on um a filtration criteria that admin configure so the admins can configure the filtration uh based on user criteria therefore the manager can see different set of filters than maybe an employee depending on the kind of task they have so admins have a lot of power in creating the tasking experience and personalizing that tasking experience for the employees finally organizations usually have to maintain multiple systems for different use cases and all these multiple systems systems can really overwhelm the approvers with many different approval request emails not only that there are uh multiple uh systems to manage for approvers but they have to keep on uh keep a tab on these different applications so that they don't miss out on some important approval request but also there's no way to prioritize which of these is a business critical approval request versus which ones can usually um you can procrastinate upon also the experience across all these different applications is very disjointed in terms of what content is visible how it is visible and what actions I can take so as an approver it becomes overwhelming for me to keep track of and navigate different applications for different approval requests like workday conquer Sab Oracle and so on each of these applications have different interface and it costs me my productivity to keep track of approval request via these uh different interfaces now approval s capability is uh resolving all these problems by providing a unified experience which consolidates approvals across multiple systems so that the approver can take action from a single interface it was launched with a three-fold vision first is to have a single approvals inbox second one is to have Omni Channel capability and the third third one is to provide configurable experience to the users by showing appropriate information and actions for each approval type with our June release this year we shipped a pre-built integration of approval sub with conquer which brings expense reports and expense approvals into service now and with our August release this year we have shipped pre-built integration of approval sub with workday now let's talk about architectural framework of approval sub and what we are trying to build here if you see the top two tiers the top most tier is about providing om Channel experience across various channels like portal mobile emails or teams the next layer talks about the configurable experience of approval subware admins can decide which fields or actions are to be shown for different approval types essentially admins can Define the user experience for their approvals which is then shown in the approval Hub user interface this can be achieved bya configurable tasking experience enhancement that we released last year now talking about approval Hub which can work with the pre-built conquer integration let's say a customer is using a third um external third party system for example conquer for expense claims or workday for time sheet approvals and they want to pull in approvals from those systems to service now in order to do that we are leveraging the Integrations subub and its existing spoke in addition to the Enterprise service management Integrations framework which allows customers to bring in data from external systems to within service now now once the data is available within service now admins can configure what is to be shown to the user interface the next part of the value proposition is that they'll be able to view these approvals across various channels like web mobile emails or teams view the context related to these approv RS like approval receips or comments and then complete approvals once the approvals have been completed these approval status approved or rejected or sent back will be updated again in the external system to understand of this technical framework in depth we have already published an approvals Hub Playbook on our employee center community product Hub I would encourage you to please explore those resources for further or additional details the pre-built integration with conquer brings an expense report approvals as part of expense reports we'll also show expense line items and itemization providing a single View for the approvers to be able to approve or reject or send back along with this approvers can view the receips or comments tagged along with the approval to make a decision for the pre-built uh workday integration we are enabling users to put in different types of approval requests from their workday account and um these approval use cases may include time off request leave of absence time sheet approval compensation change job break CH approvals time of Correction termination related approvals and spend authorization once these approval requests have been pulled into the service now platform from workday approvers can can take action from within employee Center Unified approval inbox now when it comes to the personalized experience we also ship something called manager Hub this requires employee Center Pro but this is a very personalized and purpose-built experience just for managers to stay engaged and support their team it helps managers to view their team Journeys requests and important dates receive news announcements identify task that require immediate action or access manager specific resources so there's a whole uh different experience that has been shipped just um tailored to managers and is available as part of employee Center Pro that pretty much covers up the basic features and functionalities let's uh talk about additional resources where do you go from here first we have employee center community product Hub which is a great resource for accessing self-served resources like implementation guides best practice guidance resources related to migration or deployment of employee Center FAQs events trainings and release blogs in addition to that it provides a network of experts including product teams partners and other smmes to get help on your questions now a lot of you on call today would find Value on especially the first stle here for getting started resources which provides guidance for migration or upgradation to employee Center implementation guides and other deployment related resources the second tile titled features and capability provides in-depth overview of different employee Center capabilities categorized under different paradigms that we just discussed these contains feature overview Academy sessions product demo videos fqs product doc links for each of these capabilities so I would encourage you to explore more here and um yeah then we have the employee Center Academy uh which are the monthly U sessions where um you have 60 minute with the product team where we pick up one Focus topic and discuss that every month the next session is scheduled for 18th October where we'll be
