hi this is Todd goodu I'm a senior technical consultant at Glide fast Consulting in this video I'm going to show you a new feature within the Vancouver release for Hardware Asset Management it allows stock rooms to have multiple locations Associated to them to allow you to Source from a single stock room for all these different locations so in the past in the versions prior to Vancouver your location had to match on the stock room exactly to the location on the user profile for the user that you were trying to source for so here I've got a request for a laptop when I try to Source it I don't have anything and you can see here my address is in Crystal Lake Illinois so if I come back into the stock room and this is even though I've got the location set as illino if I come into the service locations and I add in a location of Illinois so this is going to cover the entire state of Illinois and this is the other neat feature set that came with this is that when I do this it's going to take whatever this is plus any other uh children that are underneath it so now when I Source this request it sees it as in being in stock because this address rolls up to that parent address of Illinois so hopefully you find this feature useful and this video educational thank you for tunning [Music] in
