[Music] hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house in this video I want to talk to you about mobile time sheets I just got done doing a demo for a potential customer and for the first time ever I got to show time sheets now now you may have seen the time sheet portal let me go ahead and pull that one up here so you can take a look at what I mean by the time sheet portal this is if you're using strategic portfolio management or some other application where you're required to submit time cards you can come into the portal and you can grab tasks from service now and add them to your time sheet so these are called time cards basically a task um on the time sheet is called time card um so you can pull tasks that are assigned to you you can pull tasks that are assigned to your group you can pull other tasks right I've Dem with this 100 times but what I haven't demoed before is doing this from a mobile device so I've got my application my emulator here uh let make sure I've got it all on screen so the way you would do this is you would use the service now agent application which you can see right there and when you have the mobile time sheets application installed it puts this menu item in your now agent application now you can get here using the more menu on the bottom and that will bring you to the screen that you're seeing here and if you go into time sheets there's this whole application that I've never actually shown anybody before so um let's walk through it real quick I have my active time sheets there at the top I've got time sheets that are rejected recalled or all of them all of them showing the one time sheet that you just saw there at the top I can see any team approval requests my team's time sheets that are rejected or recalled and then I can just jump in and see all time sheets let's take a look at my pending time sheet because this is what I showed in the demo what I want to show you now it is for the week of November 19th through the 25th so we can see the entire week there at the Top If I wanted to copy from a previous time sheet have the system automatically generate time cards based on tasks that are assigned to me add assigned task or add unassigned task or add from a category or submit the time sheet itself so let's take a one of those use cases let's add an assign task it will go ahead and show me all the tasks that are assigned to me so if I wanted to assign um my career growth discussion not a sign if I wanted to add that to my time sheet I just check the box and now my career growth discussion is added to my time sheet so if I open this time card you can see I have every day of the week Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday and I can put in hey I met with my boss maybe two hour not 20 hours good grief um let's get rid of that extra zero uh two hours and then I did some follow-up items on Friday so there was a total of three hours for the week um and isn't this perfect for a demo I hate these I don't know about you um I'm never I'm never going to review an app in the store says don't ask me service now or anybody else thank you um okay so now I've got my 3 hours logged in my career growth discussion and notice on this time card I actually have another little ellipses so I showed you the vertical ellipses up here but I want to show you this horizontal ellipses on the time card if I click on here I can submit that particular time card I can view the time card uh what else can I do there I can add some time card notes so if I wanted to add a new note um met with the boss and discussed growth opportunities obviously you don't have a keyboard with your phone so you'd be typing it on the screen there or talking to your phone and then you can add your notes to it so all your notes are available your note taking abilities I guess are available and then that last one there is I can delete the time card so if I didn't want to include that any longer on my time card I could delete it and then I could open up other stuff so I have some other task I think in the demo I showed them this Mobic cord Mobility management shows the same thing but let me show you one other thing um in that demo I added two new categories billable and non-billable to the project time category so I added this one uh to My Demo system and I added this one because that was a requirement for the customer but you could add as many categories as you want uh maybe this one is going to be under development since it was I don't know I forgot what this was and then um I can also associate it with an existing resource plan so if there was an existing resource plan I could add it there and obviously there's another chance to add notes here are some more notes uh with a misspelling of some more and submit that and now that everything is there so if I go back to that I'm curious if I view notes on that uh time card notes on that time card yeah there's my here are some more notes showing there so I thought this was pretty cool um I'm not going to submit my time sheet but obviously if you submit it it's going to follow whatever policies you have set up in your instance for approvals and routing for those time cards but I thought this was pretty cool and wanted to share it with you all um that is time sheets on the now Agent mobile app I hope you
