[Music] hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house in this video in this short video I want to show you a new Vancouver feature that has to do with the Moscow method in prioritizing your demands and your projects in the strategic planning workspace so again this is new with Vancouver you can see the feature here right up there behind me enable rough prioritization of work using M Moscow Moscow if you're not familiar is it must have could have should have or won't have values and they're available to us in the list and hierarchy views in the strategic planning workspace so let's go ahead and open that workspace I've already got it up and running here I'm impersonating a Leen who's in my demo environment who has access to a portfolio in portfolio planning and she can come and do some prioritization now you may be familiar with strategic planning and that you can rank so I can take this particular one and I can drag it down here and update the ranking so this is one way to prioritize and then as that's prioritized you can change the status to say it's prioritized I should probably have grabbed one that was in review and shown that I can change it from in review to prioritize so there's two steps there is to actually change the ranking and then to set the status of okay we've prioritized this now what's new move ah head out of the way over here I've got in my settings in the columns I can activate this Moscow column so it's a new column in the workspace we'll go ahead and turn it on so you can see and it works just like that planning State and that all I have to do is double click on something and now I have my must have should have could have won't have and again I can go and change and say okay I've established I've establish that we must have this one and we should have this one and we could have this one and we won't have this one and now I can say okay that has been prioritized so same work same way it works with ranking it works with the Moscow method in the strategic planning workspace let's go ahead I'm in the list view in strategic planning workspace right now what I'd like to do is go ahead and switch to the hierarchy view which I don't think I've showed too much on the channel here but it's just a different way of looking at the particular stuff in here and you'll see it looks really similar to a Gant chart that's in the project workspace I've got my hierarchy over here on the left hand side behind my head and I've got a Gant chart on the right hand side and I'm going to do the same thing as before I'm just going to go to my columns I'm going to add this new Moscow field sorry about that I've got to switch to my rectangle this new Moscow field that's been added in Vancouver so let's go ahead and check the box and hit apply and I should see let me go close that there it is there's that new Moscow field or column right there and so I can look at in the uh application model for Globex customer portal these different epics projects uh epics demands and projects and I can go ahead and give them their Moscow prioritization so maybe I um wow I changed one thing and it changed a bunch of other things I don't know what I just did but I have a feeling something is related there so um didn't expect that to happen let's go ahead and have that should have so anyways that is the new Moscow field in the strategic planning workspace I hope you found this helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share with somebody who you think might be interested in different ways to prioritize work within service now strategic planning workspace and until next time don't forget to always be [Music] learning
