parent I don't I don't know if I'd be like you or I mean like I put him on Facebook and stuff you don't think like he has does like there's a whole conversation about should they have the right to consent to have their pictures so Dexter's a ham I know and it's always like Mommy can you show me videos of me when I was a baby that's consent right there yeah like and he'll be like can you show them a video of me when I was a baby and I'm like sure I'm sure they don't want to see it but all right are you I wish I had videos of me of as a baby now um I have a very cute one he loves to dance I cuz you love to dance and you spread you passed that on down no but he loves to dance and I have this adorable video of him did you ever see a goofy movie a long time ago so like the very first scene is like a very catchy song when they get out of school for the summer and he's like like dancing to it and he's in a diaper and he just is living his best life and that's his favorite video to watch of himself so I think we've talked about my Tik Tok before but dancing videos is one of the ones that I get and usually they're families so it's like the the kids and the parents and something like that but I must have liked enough of them that they keep coming back up my Tik Tok is tarot card readers don't know know why weird stuff because David sends me weird stuff um like sports stuff no it's like somehow he's gotten like these old people DJs and that he thinks are hilarious and so I get those and then there's this weird couple that looks like they live on like another planet or the lady do you did you watch um Power Rangers when you were a kid oh yeah do you remember the evil lady villain I don't remember her name vely what she looks like this lady looks like she's dressed like her not on purpose it just resembles her and I'm like so what about cooking youve sent me some cooking stuff I get a lot of cooking stuff cuz I do bake and cook a lot but I get a lot of sourdough stuff now I was just going to make a getting baked joke but it missed it it went sourdough yes I've sour dough all kinds of baking um and then let's see try make what else I get anything musical or music or dancing like anything like that um every now and again I'll get like people dancing or some musicals mostly Hamilton for some reason I mean I love Hamilton but like I ate a ton of Hamilton stuff for some reason let's go both right now let's both pull up Tik Tok and we tell each other the first video that comes up we've never done this before not the ad cuz mine always starts with yeah not the ad the first real video see jalap poer sausage balls in a bowl combin one pound of hotf I got food and you got puppies oh my gosh I do have a lot of dog ones too I love it love it I'm so glad nothing inappropriate showed up on I know like we made editing it's a good test yeah I mostly the only thing inappropriate I guess would be like so a lot of Comedy so um like Comedians and they don't censor so but but what's funny is the close captioning they censor that part oh yeah so instead of saying it says fug I'm like okay I can still hear you saying it but there is a comedian that I found because of Tik Tok who I love now his name's Matt re Matt re is one of them yes I love him he's hilarious mostly because it's like all crowd participation I'm like you can't script that like it's all truly like as it comes to him and I think that's very talented to have like that ability to just on the Fly he's very handsome and he's very funny yes um and he he almost roasts people like if they're nearby but if you he did an explainer one time he's like for those of you on Tik Tok that don't know there's a whole show before this part like where he's just doing his his actual comedian show and then they stop and do this roasting bit that gets put on Tik Tok yeah yeah totally he's coming to Colombia right before my birthday well David let you go see him um well my birthday is in December so he's coming like December 9th or something uh the the the most recent one I just saw it's so funny this woman has a Caesar in the front row she's Tic and she recovers and everything and then she tells him she asked to get a picture with him so he takes a picture and then he she said well can you get one of kissing me on the cheek or something so he kisses her on the top of the head and she goes that's for my husband and he's like can you explain she's like well you're my hall pass she's like if I ever meet you in real life you're my hall pass and it just goes off the rails from there well no there was one that he did where there was like a super drunk like 20 something year old girl and she didn't even realize that he was like completely just roasting her and she just had no idea yeah I love watching them yeah I too yeah there's another one that because I watch Matt R so much there's a black guy and I can't remember his name at the moment I I'll remember it maybe I'll put in the notes but it's very similar he sits in a chair he's usually drinking something and he just roasts the people around the closest to him and it's really funny I enjoy those to yeah but no that that one I never heard of him and they're like my favorite me and so my best friend live one of my best friends lives in Boston and we had a girls trip and we literally Sat one evening and just looked up YouTube videos of like his standup but just those parts we didn't care about the scrimage so you skip past the actual comedi for the same reason we're like he's handsome and he's funny and yeah and and he's like to me the thing that really makes a comedian funny to me is they say what we're thinking but we don't know how to say out loud appropriately without getting like you know cancelled or whatever and he's able to just kind of yeah say it and sometimes it's inappropriate like he made inappropriate Caesar jokes like it's like he was like whoa if you had said that anywhere else you know yeah I was trying to if there's anything else that pops up on mine but puppies are on there a lot and cats well you know the puppies are for me the talking ones yeah yeah puppies and cats my mother-in-law loves cats so she sends us cat Tik toks so I I think I know the answer to this one but you don't subscribe to any service now Tik toks I don't well yours because I follow you on Tik Tok but no none of the others I don't think there's many others yeah it is to escape work and until M you're probably swiping up like oh there goes Justin again no I always watch your running ones though cuz I always look for your turkeys oh oh so I've been having some video problems um because it's getting it's dark here in the mornings now and I'm not a photographer so I've been learning about shutter speed ISO ARP color stuff anyways so I'm coming back it was yesterday actually super super foggy and and it didn't even really come out in the videos I can't even really it's something I saw my eyes but yeah the turkeys were in the middle of the road like with the fog in front of them so all you really see is these shadows and then they finally see me and like the Head turkey kind of kind of goes over to the other turkeys he's like let's get over here and there's this one turkey who's like let's go over here no let's go back no let's go over here no let's go back and I'm just like dude like if I was your going to kill you you're dead by now but none of it was caught on vide videoos so do you ever watch Bob's Burgers no no okay well you should because it's hilarious but there's they always do seasonal episodes like Thanksgiving Christmas Halloween and one of the best ones is one year it was called what was it called it had to deal with turkeys and turkeys have taken over this area and they're just it's like zombie turkeys like chasing everybody it's so funny cuz I just see them coming out of the fog like there I I haven't heard about it recently I kid you not Allison there is a street in Asheville um it's called Kimberly is the name of the street and there is a band of turkeys that has been chasing the postman and other pedestrians like and it was a big deal CU they all attack and so like they they're very defensive the ones around here are pretty pretty cool they stay away from you but um yeah you can probably look up in the news like or geese geese are mean oh you I haven't told you my geese story no so one of my runs if you've seen the videos I actually show them a lot um when I go down the river the Gees are there and they don't move most of the time and if it's a male sit there and hiss at you and when they hiss at you they're sticking their tongue out of he's like just like dude that is not threatening at all in fact I can just ring your neck and eat you for dinner but I think they're protected I don't think I can eat them I've never eaten Goose so one time makes me think of a Christmas like the Christmas Carol at the end to go by the goose in the it's not I mean I it's I mean November 1st is officially Christmas season so that's when my tree will come out I have an outdoor tree it's not really Christmas but just holidays I will be convincing someone that hey what happened to the Halloween decoration behind you so it's moved over here so I ended up moving both my lamps in here and I didn't have a place for the other little things so it's over there and but the only fall thing you had in in shop I have my service now award I can't even see it it's from my favorite rep I ever had she used to do um for all of our snugs she started the snug Star Award and I got the first one and she literally got trophies made cool are you still doing your um teaching at night I am I did acl's and oh I have an ACL question what else did I do acl's and tables like um how to create new tables and things I have a CMA question then got to put in CMA hat got it um there was recently announced a potential data breach for service now customers uh I'm using the word potential because no one's really come forward and says our data's been breached but it has to do with a simple list widget on the portal and the way it's been explained to me is because of this little simple list widget you can kind of get back into service now and the back end and query data unless the ACLS are set up appropriately I'm like well all the acl's are set up appropriately it's like well some admins may have gone in and done something to make it public do you know what that means like to make an ACL public do they mean the ACL or do they mean the widget the ACL is on the table I mean if they remove the AC I mean there's a public role you can add so you could say this is public and then that way someone coming into that widget could see it then okay yeah because I mean there are use cases where you might need I would never expose people data to public anything but I mean like if you think about going to an airport and in the bathroom they have the little survey thing of how are we doing in the bathroom and you pick like happy F maybe it's just women's bathrooms I don't know but that can tie into service now but it has to be public or if you have like a kiosk where someone can ask for help and they don't want to them logging in they could still submit something I mean and that goes to a table that has public acl's okay yeah I mean for me to be able to submit you know a catalog item that goes through a request I need it to be public so I need to be able to fill out you know I would never put like any referential data I would just have a box for them to fill things out for similar reasons so I mean there are use cases but if people are putting referential data then that's they shouldn't for public anyway yeah and some one of the AES our AES asked me what do you think of this I'm like to me it's no big deal because if an admin is doing their job they should be fine if they did something they shouldn't have done then there's a potential to be compromised as the way I justtin interpreted it yeah and I mean hopefully Consulting companies like ours are giving people the pros and cons and the bad part about our job is like I can tell someone tell I'm blue in the face not to do something yeah but at the end of the day they're paying us to do it there have only been two I've ever been so adamant about not doing something that I was like I need to talk to your boss's boss like I I am so against this that I want your sea level whoever to make the decision hear the pros and the cons and both times they were like we are paying her too much money not to listen to her like both times what's the point of paying you yeah like I'm sitting here telling you like one person wanted Dom manipulation they didn't know that's what it was but in order to do what we were doing we would have had to do that and the other one just it was Dumb and literally I was just like no like unless I get it in writing from your ca level exec I'm not doing it and they were just like well we're paying your salary I'm like so we're four other customers don't really care we're not doing it unless I have sign off yeah and just do this on your own if that's going to be your attitude like man teaching acl's is funny because like they do super basic ones like in fun in the fundamentals course right and so it's interesting just to like in last night we had a um just a general Q&A of like how is this course going and you know are you struggling are are you okay do you have feedback that cuz then it's the it's through nextg and they kind of have two different styles one is like a full-time 40 hour a week like intensive it's your job essentially well that's not realistic for a lot of people like people still need a job to make money and do it at the same time so now they have kind of this hybrid version where you're doing the cour work and now learning which they do in the other one too but they're doing that and then 2 days a week we have mandatory Zoom calls and they so we can cover the materials that they're learning reinforce them and make sure everyone's clear so it's a lot of like walking through here's what an ACL is here's why they're important here's what they do and so last night or in this Q&A I probably shouldn't say this I'm going to anyway this person like went on a tangent about how the zooms shouldn't be mandatory because she's a fast learner and she should not have to attend these zooms unless she needs help and all this stuff and I'm like well you know hopefully I'm giving you guys a little more than what you learned in your course because I'm tying it back to like real world things that I've experienced and like I'm trying to make it interesting and she was just like but it's the exact same thing we just went over and I was like okay well I I can definitely give them that feedback so thank you for the input so then this other girl was like I enjoy the zooms but I do wish they were more interactive I was like see I can work with that like I can work with that like just general like I don't want to be here I'm kind of like okay so anyway but then everyone was like you're so great Allison don't let her get you down I was like I'm good yeah I was like this isn't my course this is not my career like I'm good I'm just helping teach a class but it's funny because what I've done is a lot of the nights it's from like 6:30 to 8:30 we usually get done around 8 and so the last 30 minutes it's essentially like anyone trying to wrap up the activities for the night or if they did have questions and there's this one guy that has stayed on every single time till the very end and I'm like you know you can go if you're done and he's like oh no I just I just want to stay on in case someone ask something I'm curious about and I essentially use that last 30 minutes I just go over stuff that's not in the course like I walk them through like cool stuff and service now and talk about like interviewing and tips and tricks and stuff like that and so I think word got out cuz I had the most people ever stay the whole time yesterday than they ever have before and so that's good yeah you're a good teacher though you're a good like you have a good knack for explaining things and that's why I like to save my CMA questions for Allison because uh sometimes they're I know where you're going to answer but it's just hearing you say it it's I don't know it's a strength you said a lot of your family was teachers so well my mom's like entire side of the family are teachers like all of them you just like the adult students not the uh I mean like I always like you know if I ever like this was before I have the job I have now like when I first started I was like you know I could be like an Adjunct professor cuz in college you don't have to care if people show up right when you're like in high school and middle school like there's laws yeah so and if you care which I know you do you would try to keep them engaged and that's hard yeah yeah and yeah but my friend like I said she had asked me if I wanted to teach I was like I'll do I'll you know if you guys are having trouble finding instructors that's fine and so yesterday I was like this person just like was me I was like texting her and she was like who does that I was like I she was like it's a free class yeah is not even paying for it and I was like I don't know I was she was like you should send it I was like I don't really care I said I just don't know where to send the feedback like now that I cuz some of their feedback was actually very good like we should do this and break and you know and there was really good feedback yeah and you know some people it was oh my instance expired and I had to redo all my labs and I'm like that's actually a good problem I said repetition is actually really good however welcome to service now too by the way but there is an extend button and blah blah blah blah blah but it was just so funny cuz I was texting Frank cuz she used to be a full-time trainer for service now and I was like why did how did you ever just not like smack somebody she started laughing and she was just like that's some she was like we should kick her out of the CL I was like no like that's silly but it's just like I don't know I want there's nothing it's not actionable feedback at least in your level of yeah what you can do it reminds me of like personality types and I'm not going to generalize about Generations but there's certain part personality types in all generations that want everything now and I get it like I can see where like when I turn on my TV I wanted to work when I turn on my TV but for something like education the whole point is the repetitive and kind of let me hear it this way let me hear it that way and you know these different channels I'll absorb it and I don't understand it it sounds like that person is like I just need to be able to prep for the test you know give me my stuff and let me move on which is I'm going to do my labs and I'm going to prep for the tests and that's all yeah it's not learning like the way Justin thinks of learning so well it was funny cu the week we were doing catalog our classes ran the whole time yeah you said you had to do catalog and flow designer yeah but the catalog piece I get very like people struggle to understand the three tiers and so like I get like very and and they were like okay we didn't get this in our lab so thank you and I was like yeah you haded value yeah but it was well do you do you remember me telling you that I had U cuz you asked me about the mulch glue oh yeah and then I told you we had rocks delivered you remember that story okay I'm going to tie this back to what you're just talking about but the rocks that we had delivered came in this giant pallet that had wood on the bottom wood on the sides and wood on top oh wow and yeah it was really heavy like forklift came out and everything not a forklift like a machine thing yeah and I didn't want to throw it away cuz it's pain in the butt I said well let me break this down and I'll just repurpose this in the garden so I'm out there bending over hurting my back and I've got a crowbar yeah and a hammer to hammer out the nails this is really badly assembled palet or whatever and so I'm like pulling and like that nail breaks and now I got to drive it back through I do this and the nail kind of flies in there I'm like oh God I should be wearing glasses and at some some point in that I said well let me just try P doing it really slow so I just like really really slow pulling on pulling on and it just it's everything started working I was able to pull the nails out they weren't flying everywhere and I was like whoa this is a big life lesson like just slow down and everything will be okay so I mean the reason I thought of that because we had talked about it but also like when you're learning yeah don't be in such a rush just slow down absorb it and you'll be all the better for it yeah well and like as I'm teaching like I try to because I've taken my C because they get the voucher for CSA and so I'm always like now this will be on the exam and then I'm like for those that weren't paying attention this will be on the exam and so one girl was like I really appreciate that because like I've been looking up like study materials and there's like 900 different Concepts I'm like I can't even think of 900 things for the fundamentals side of it and so I showed them the blueprint how it'll show you like here's 10% is field maintenance 10% is admin functions or whatever but it breaks down like what you should study and they were like oh but that was during the last 30 minutes when only those that stayed on got to you know what youed should tell them and you tell them like the CSA is a walk in the park it's the Deltas that will screw you later on he went through that last night too for only those that stayed on so yeah the Deltas are just they feel like they're trying to trick you and it's like H yeah yeah I know like the last I haven't taken an exam like a sit down for a CIS exam in a while but I know the last one I took I want to say it was CSM this is going to sound rude and I don't mean it to sound rude but the whoever wrote the test English was not their first language y yep Y and there were several questions I was like I I have no idea like I've never even heard of this or whatever and fortunately those the answers were later in other questions which they do a lot on those exams and I actually told them that too I was like if you're not sure Market it'll probably have an answer later on and yeah just that's a good test taking tip in general it's like when you get stuck just Mark the place keep going give your brain a relax you know break from it come back to it yeah that's how I take test I go through the whole thing and everything I know I answer and anything I don't I don't spin my wheels I come back I'm like I'm going to just keep going yeah I just heard your meeting start so do you have any last closing words for our podcast friends Dexter picked my red pepper and I red shirt PE red shirt did he eat it or just pick it he tried it and decided he did not like it not surprised but he wanted me to take the seeds out so he could replant them so he dug with a stick to make a little trench and and so they're ready for next spring they're ready to go that'll probably be long on my next spring because it's a little like tiny thing from Walmart so people have long forgotten about it well I'm going to build my own Garden cuz I've actually enjoyed it like it's kind of therapeutic to like just you know take care of something yeah I have a SE and why I like the sourdough is it's yeah you know it's a it's a recipe you follow and you get a result yeah I kind of tweak recipes though after I've made them once I make them the way the first time and then I changed them yeah you definitely should that's what makes you a cook yeah I go that far but I have a seed video coming um it's a milkweed seeds and I unpacked them from the Pod and they're just absolutely amazing cuz they come with these little silk fibers to blow away in the wind but when you pull it out of the pot and see it it's just amazing like wow that actually grew in there that's
