[Music] hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house in this video it's time to talk Vancouver patch 2 that's right it's October 3rd service now released patch two on September 29th which was last Friday I'm recording this on Tuesday October 3rd let's run through I actually stumbled across this because it came into my PDI which is unusual usually the only upgrades that I've seen this is going back a couple releases and when there's a security issue if you look at the release notes here you'll see that they have released a KB article um for all the security related stuff no I'm sorry I'm highlighting the wrong thing let's scroll down here uh security related fixes right here so they've linked to a KB article which I can get through with my login but I'm assuming since they put a login in front of this they don't want it publicly available uh so I'm you know it's part of probably security so I'm not going to put that on the channel but you should go look there are some security fixes um some pretty critical ones that you want to take a look at let's jump down and look at the notable fixes in patch 2 for Vancouver for performance analytics a breakdown source with large number of elements with consuming large amounts of memory and causing memory and performance issues AI search couldn't deal with a catalog item that had an external content type uh Discovery had a duplicate CI with the same CIS ID shown in the itom Lu licensable CIS table and lastly here or not second to last the uh customer service task account field had an invalid base instance default value and the activity stream was incorrectly displaying system updates as system administrator that was the notable fixes per service now they put this in this section right here so may not sound like a big deal there but again go check that knowledge article on the security ones you decide for yourself and for your instance but there were some other fixes related to Agile development AI search for virtual agent AI search and we'll scroll down past all those app se's platform infrastructure uh app template framework had some problem fixes uh archive rules asynchronous message bus atg Glide interface authentication database persistence had a bunch of things there Discovery encrypted workflow scratchpad event management flow designer form templates health log analytics HR Service delivery had a couple there instance data replication integration Hub Key Management framework Knowledge Management list admin next experience unified navigation now assist panel new experience UI build or yeah now experienced UI Builder now platform security performance analytics API performance analytics by itself platform licensing process mining project management service mapping skills management UI form Administration virtual agent designer uh virtual agent designer some more virtual agent and more virtual agent more virtual agent more virtual agent more virtual agent I think virtual agent gets the win for Vancouver patch 2 That's The quick summary go check out these release notes I'll leave them down in the description down below I hope you found this video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share with somebody who you think might be interested in what's new with service now and until next time don't forget to always be [Music] learning
