[Music] thank you hello everyone and welcome to the now platform Vancouver release Futures just do a quick intro here my name is Carson Jones and I'm a solution consultant here at servicenow and I specifically focus on our its Asset Management solution and today I'm going to be focusing on some enhancements to our software Asset Management solution from our Vancouver release so without further Ado let's go ahead and get into it here just to touch on this briefly this presentation may contain some four looking statements that reflect the current beliefs of servicenow and are based on the current information available and these forward-looking statements should not be relied upon in making purchasing decisions customers are increasingly focused on showcasing rapid time to Value within their organizations and there's a burgundy demand for Success guides that can Empower them to achieve their same goals and share proper configuration setup of various features or licensing scenarios in our Vancouver release built upon what we already had within the success portal and introduced product success guides to enable our customers to have resources and step-by-step instructions to help track licenses more in depth and proactively identify cost savings after we've set up those Integrations with complex vendors like Microsoft 365 and IBM and what we wanted to do was keep the success guides inside the product itself that way if a customer is using some of these Integrations they can start taking advantage of some of these success guides right away and use them throughout their same Journey and Within These success guides we've also added links to be able to jump to external documentation if needed which talks about some of the specific steps they can take to review compliance when it comes to licensing and it really just help our customers handle their licensing agreements in the best way possible and with that being said let's go ahead and jump into the demo to see what this future looks like on the now platform so now we're in the software Asset Management workspace and this is going to be the control center for everything software asset related but with today's Focus being on our new product success guide repository feature I'm going to go ahead and drill into this success portal widget right here and for those who don't know the software asset success portal is a feature out of the box with Sam that allows our customers to set same related goals and helps them measure how their Sam journey is performing over time so we can see different reporting for things out of the box like overall success goals that we have open currently and with that the projected savings we hope to achieve once these goals are complete but again today's focus is the new product success repository feature from the Vancouver release so if I jump into this value Builder tab here now we can see these success guides down at the bottom out of the box are Vancouver release introduces success guides for Microsoft 365 and IBM ilmt so we can see that this IBM ilmt success guide is already in progress so if we drill into here now we're in the actual value Builder task itself and within this space it's going to give you a brief summary of okay what plugins are we going to need it's also going to provide you with that documentation that we talked about earlier that walks you step by step through how to best configure the connection between the now platform and the IBM license metric tool so all of this is really with the idea of having resources at your fingertips so you can easily find information about the various setups and Integrations with some of the more complex licenses like IBM and Microsoft 365. so that's going to wrap it up for the demonstration party today so I'm gonna go ahead and jump back to the slides here and again that's going to conclude that high level overview of the software Asset Management product success guides on the now platform from the Vancouver release so if you'd like to view a full list of our new products and features you can find that on the servicenow product documentation website and thank you all for listening and don't forget to check out our other release information from our Vancouver release videos thank you
