foreign [Music] the company you're with and your current role my name is Andreina Silva I'm with glide fast Consulting my current role as director of talent acquisition as director of talent acquisition tell me a little bit about the type of work you do day to day so day to day so we're always looking for new talent to bring to Glide fast so we work really closely with our hiring managers to understand our hiring needs and then we're kind of out in the in the servicenow community looking for servicenow talent talking to potential candidates and we really work really well together as a talent team in doing that you know at Bill McDermott's keynote address he spent quite a bit of time talking about his boat initiative to skill up one million people in the servicenow platform by the end of 2024. so there are multitudes of people coming into the ecosystem right now I'm curious since you have seen so many folks in your role maybe you have some advice for folks who are entering the ecosystem now what might you be able to advise them at this point in their in their career I think that the servicenow community my favorite thing about it is it's so collaborative and people want to help people want to you know help others learn service now grow with the platform obviously there's so much content out there definitely check out our Glide pass YouTube page and lots of other you know content and just absorb everything you can definitely connect with every single person that you can on LinkedIn make those connections becoming a part of the community is is a huge part and it'll be very it's very beneficial for people especially as they've sort of transitioning into servicenow Community tell me about some of the qualities that makes a candidate stand out to you um definitely passion passion for service now somebody who wants to come to Glide fast not to just be a number not to fill a butt in a seat but really wants to come to Glide fast make us bigger make us better make us stronger somebody who wants to grow themselves so continue you know kind of that continuous student mentality those are some of the the things that we look for I love that now I want to talk a little bit about how you got here how did you get into Glide Fest tell me a little bit about that this is a funny story so my background is in nursing I was a nurse for about 10 years in healthcare for about 15. and my brother is Michael Lombardo so he really needed a recruiter at the time he was this was in 2018 he was you know recruiting everybody really on his own and it was becoming a lot for him so he really kept telling me you would be great you know come in I'll help you I'll train you you know you could be a recruiter I'm like I don't know if I could do it and I I decided to do it on the side so I was doing nursing and doing some recruiting for Mike and honestly I just fell in love with live vest I fell in love with the people I fell in love with the servicenow community and I ended up kind of joining full-time and really have never looked back it was a huge career change for me but something that I'm just so happy that I took the leap and I did it and I it's just Glide fast is just it's my home yeah I feel you 100 on that live fast has changed my life and I'm curious about with you being Mike's sister tell me a little bit about how Mike was as a sibling growing up okay well I'm not going to reveal my age I will not do it but I am there's a little bit of an age span between us a couple years I'm older he was like my first baby I mean I was just so it's just him and I and when he was born I was just so happy to have a little brother and we really always got along and never fought I think because we had some years between us so we weren't like fighting over toys he was just the the cutest little kid and so sweet and even back at that time he had that you know personality that's why my mother always calls him the mayor because he was um just was able to kind of control the room even at like two or three he was he was adorable um not quite as adorable now but anyway um so a little bit mischievous at times which probably wouldn't surprise anybody but um good good kid andrina Silva final question okay what is your superpower oh my god um what is my superpower not the one I want what is my superpower I think I'm pretty good at um reading a room sort of meeting people where they are conversationally um so I think if I if I had a superpower I guess that would be it and you heard it here I'm Kali Alexander and we're at knowledge 2023 at Las Vegas Nevada what happens in Vegas leaves Vegas and we are here with andrina the great room reader Silva let's go
