Adding an Asset-Related List to the User Form in ServiceNow | ServiceNow Tutorial
foreign [Music] hi there my name is Lawrence Tyndall here at Glide Fest Consulting and in today's servicenow tutorial I'm going to show you how to add an asset related list to the user form in servicenow this customization allows you to easily check what assets are assigned to a user when viewing their user account record this is especially useful when off-boarding an employee as you can just view their user record to see what assets are assigned to them by the end of this tutorial you'll understand how to add an asset related list to the user form in servicenow please note you'll need the admin role assigned to your user account in order to add a related list also please follow your organization's software development process when making changes to servicenow the first thing you'll want to do is open up servicenow go into the application navigator and type in users now click on the users module and open up any record right click on the farm header and click on the related lists menu option located underneath the configure menu section the related lists slush bucket UI will now load in the available column select the asset assigned to related list option now click on the right arrow icon to add this related list to the selected column click on the save button to save this change you'll now be navigated back to the user form and you can now see there's an assets tab within this tab you can see all assets that are assigned to this particular user you'll notice that this list doesn't just display Hardware assets it also displays software and consumables too and that is all for this tutorial on adding an asset related list to the user form foreign
