[Music] thank you hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house that's Justin's house in this video I got a short one but a fun one for you someone asked me a question the other day on the YouTube channel how they could filter out priority I think it was from the activities in service operations workspace or actually I think it was a compliance workspace but this applies to all workspaces and I hadn't looked at the activities filter in quite a long time so I thought this was pretty cool and I was like I should make a video showing people um what this can actually do so let's just go ahead and open up one of these breached SLA incidents in service operations workspace and what I want to call your attention to is right here in the middle this activity stream right this has actually gotten enhanced quite a bit since I had looked at it last I'll just start here with a filter notice in the filter I can come in and select all these different post types that I can show now so if I want to clear that and I just want to see additional comments maybe um not auto-generated emails maybe just email correspondences and some field changes and then even on the field changes I can say hey I just want to see where assigned two and maybe the states and maybe the open buy chains and nothing else so I can check and uncheck all those that I want I can even say I want to see flagged ones or not and I was like what does that mean flagged well apparently um yeah my head's not in the way you can actually flag stuff and then now they'll actually show us uh if you filter on that they'll show the flag once only so I thought that was pretty cool and then I saw this button over here where you can say pre-apply this filter set which is actually automatically going to check the actions taken additional comments emails and work notes and some fuel changes for you there so lots and lots of stuff going in the activity filter here I think it's really cool especially if you have an incident with lots and lots of stuff that's been happening on it and you can even search so you can come in here and say hey I want to search for the word email and see if I find any results of course uh no results on that one let's go ahead and clear um kind of clear my filter okay I'm going to just select everything back there we go wax me system administrator in progress I guess I could have searched for um so in progress yeah so it highlights it and you can actually see that so very very cool that could change the sword or like expand all posts um actually that's not working on this one but uh when I was doing that before I would actually do that to show more so less when I hit expand off oh there it is now it's working so when I had the search going it wasn't working but either way I wanted to show you lots and lots of functionality packed into this tiny tiny little box here called activity for you to personalize your experience when you're in these workspaces and make things easier for you to find the information you need and in this case get incidence resolved I hope you found this video helpful if you did please a like Please Subscribe or share with somebody who you think might be interested in super powers in the activity stream in service now and until next time don't forget to always be learning thank you [Music] [Music]
