as an I.T remediation owner you can fix the vulnerabilities and misconfigurations assigned to you by the vulnerability manager on the landing page view the remediation tasks and test result groups assigned to you and your group by applying the filter now you see the number of remediation tasks and test results assigned to your groups as well as the number of known solutions to fix the vulnerabilities and the number of impacted Ci's you can view and perform actions on these tasks as follows on the list page view a Consolidated list of remediation tasks impact Ci's host vulnerabilities application vulnerabilities container vulnerabilities configuration issues and exception requests in the all list under remediation tasks group remediation tasks by record type in the record view you can perform various actions on a record the overview tab displays basic information such as remediation progress risk rating assignment group Etc in the details tab reassign the record to another remediation owner in your group or another group and update the state of a remediation task requests an exception to hold the remediation process for any record for a certain duration move selected records into a different remediation test by splitting the task enter the condition for the records to move them to a new remediation task and click split task and finally you can Mark a record as false positive if the warning given by the scanner is not actually an issue for more information see our product documentation or knowledge base or ask a question in the servicenow community
