fantastic you're interviewing no like I'm interviewing for our company like I'm interviewing a delivery manager candidate oh I bet I thought you meant like you're interviewing oh I would have told you that like like in text message no I'll figure out a way to edit this it's a good startup rumor he was flipping amazing and I will probably cry if he doesn't care what what was the over-the-top criteria that hold you over yeah understands Consulting number one but like everything he talked about was how do I become like what are your goals like how would you measure my success of leading my team and you know his goals for being in this role and what he would do in a billable capacity it was very outcome focused and speaking the language that's good we need uh we need good people like that so you know my beautiful cucumber Terrace I built Davis what Dexter took it out and I was so upset I was like what'd you do he was like I didn't like it there was like I have grown these while you were away so is it just like laying down on the ground no I propped it back up but they like to grow on things that's a good thing I feel like I need to take it out and like plan it somewhere else but I did cut the other one down so it's not stealing it's whatever see if you could read the label I don't like sweet I've I'm indifferent I just was online one night and I was like oh see potatoes bye and now I gotta find a place to plant them do you have big plans for the weekend I need to buy Dexter some new shoes yeah I guess karate tomorrow morning and then we're gonna go buy new shoes that's about it David's gonna smoke some meat on Sunday very nice because he got that new smoker slash Grill thing did he tell you guys about that the Traeger yeah well he ended up getting a different one because the Traeger was missing pieces and they were like making us wanted us to send it back it showed up as simple so we got the new one so he's gonna try we have a pork tenderloin in the freezer so we're gonna thought he's gonna do a bacon wrap smoked pork I'm hungry right now and that sounds delicious and he's gonna do a brisket I think and what was the other one plank steak because we usually girl off like steak ever like salads and so he's gonna smoke one that sounds really good I want to come down there and just eat this weekend do it you can hang out with Dexter now we'll speaking of him if you go get new shoes for him you don't get anything for yourself no I don't eat anything like I'm good I hate I hate shopping so I I don't mind shopping but I just don't really need anything oh that's good I mean yeah and usually if I shop I either already know like my sizes and I just wear it online online or you know like it's summer I live in like either shorts or dresses like people think I wear dresses to be cute It's Gonna Pop [Music] I I am jealous for reasons I won't explain yes that you get to wear a dress yeah it's hot I've I've had the hardest time I I usually when I was working like uh going to the job yeah I'd buy my clothes from Express for Men I love it I really like their Styles and it made me fit really well yeah and so I was I'm needing some more shirts because I have like almost more summertime shirts to go out and like go to dinner or whatever it's like go on Express and like all of a sudden floral prints are back for guys and I'm like what the heck is going on I don't want to wear this like I don't care if it's in style again I had that moment when I was 16. so yeah David does Stitch fix and it's like sometimes they send stuff that's really nice but sometimes like the whole box is a mess but like he's actually gotten some like really decent like shirts and pants and shoes and you just send it back if you don't want it like I did it but if I wanted it the price was crazy like yeah it was like a t-shirt for seventy dollars I'm like I never did it but a friend of mine told me I should because she was like the person who bought them for me bought me things that I would have never bought myself but ended up like looking really good on and I was like oh because I'm not stylish and I'm okay with it like it doesn't bother me like I'll stick with my t-shirt energy but I was like well that might be a way to like to like get a few stylish things I guess if you ever run across me of loads there's a good chance I'll be wearing five finger Vibram shoes the toe shoes swim trunks and a sleeveless shirt and a and probably this hat uh I'll do and nothing will match I'll look completely like and I'll probably have paint or something all over me you look like my four-year-old that's why you're doing yeah it's like hey are all the essentials covered all right let's go yeah I don't mind going out my better half it's always like I will not be seen that yes that's the exact situation here is like I'll get the you're wearing that and I'm like okay what do I need to change Well mine's like so our the grocery store closest to us is a little sketchy we are in like a sketchy area it's just like the closest one is a little sketchy and so when I go there I'm like I don't want to look nice like I want to fit in I swear you know whatever I'm on and we're good yeah yeah the the local sketchy grocery store here it's not it's not sketchy it's probably too too harsh but it's sketchy obviously people we see people steal from there all the time because it's like a regular occurrence yeah but um it's freezing cold in there it's always like 42. so you have to like wear a jacket in the middle of the summer to go in there and Shop yeah we we only go there if like we forgot something or need something last minute like yeah I am very spoiled I got Walmart plus which was like the best eighty dollars I spend every year way to go Walmart wait 80 bucks it's like 13 a month oh no if you pay for the whole year up front it's cheaper so we just paid for the whole year up front it's like 80 bucks for the whole year versus whatever it was and so we just do the full year so we're like we use it constantly like so my sister-in-law took her son to our condo for the weekend so they left last night well we forgot we brought the sheets home to wash oops and so I was like it's okay I'll just do a Walmart delivery they delivered some sheets this morning too so I when I first got Walmart plus I thought it was gonna be like Amazon yeah and we started ordering things just to see how it would go and it was like wow this it comes with via FedEx most of the time yeah um and then all of a sudden one time like a person showed up and I realized that it came from the store and I was like well how do I tip the person like because I'll carry cash yeah and then I realized what's that following the app I was all in the app and I didn't I had just didn't see it and then so the next time I took over to give him like 20 bucks or something yeah oops Yeah we uh so Dexter got in last weekend and my mother-in-law's neighborhood has like a community pool and then last year we just bought like a cheapy blow up pool because he's he wasn't super big so he still got nervous around fools but I was like do you want to go over and use Nani's pool he was like well what about our pool I was like it he would rather play in that instead of like going to a Whirlpool he was like yeah well so I pull it out of our shed and it has like mold on it and like ants had taken over and so I did an Express Walmart order cool well you I was like well I need groceries anyway so I'll just do an Express order well you can only do 15 items on Express order so I had to do like half of my shopping with the pool and so when the lady dropped it off Dexter heard and he ran he's like thank you for bringing me my pool like oh I've had mold I was like two people that I was like it was in the shed all season s my parents are nasty yeah I remember I remember being that age and I told people all kinds of things I shouldn't have said well so he had his 4K assessment this week so I had to take him up to the school and they were a class saying like where he's at academically my assumption is that when I went into pre-K in kindergarten I had to go up and they did an assessment and then they put you in a class based on kids at the same level so that they could focus each class on where kids were I think that's what they were doing which makes sense at that age like you don't want to be teaching the alphabet when half the class knows the alphabet and the other doesn't you know like Dexter can count to 20. he knows his ABCs he knows his shapes and his colors and his numbers and he can tell you that if you have a bathing suit on you're going to the beach or the pool like those were the kind of things they were asking and it was really bad because his daycare was at that school and it closed last year earlier this year which I think you remember my yeah sanity um so we walk in the lady was like you must be Dexter he goes why won't you let me go to school here anymore I was just like I'm so sorry she was like what he goes I have to go to my new school and I don't like it because you all won't let me go here anymore and this poor woman she's like I'm so sorry but I'm just like good for him you should speak up for himself though he should but he hates his new school which what do you do so needless to say the poor lady I just was like he's like it's fine he went to like the daycare is attached to the real school and so the class he was in they actually did school work like they worked on handwriting and letters and numbers and like all of that and so he just all it was always school to him and so yeah he was just like I said the poor lady just trying so hard to be sweet when he does go into like an actual like classroom like a I guess next Pre-K or kindergarten uh well so he was in one before like he was in a classroom like he went into the same classroom every day they had like reading time drawing time they did like I said letters numbers every week they had a letter of the week a color of the week um a shape of the week in a Bible verse because it was a Baptist um at a Baptist church and then they had like a book of the week so I mean like they had very scheduled it was very much like school because it was supposed to prepare them for 4K what's 4k I mean I've never heard about it it's just like preschool but more structure I guess than just like a daycare okay so it's not really the difference it's not the TV resolution no he he'll turn five in November so he'll be in kindergarten man things are complicated since I know yeah as I say I think we I just went to preschool and then the kindergarten I went to like I said they assessed you and put you in different classes and I used to always give my brother crap that um they had the kindergarten we went to it was different color Birds so I was a yellow bird and he was a green bird and what you didn't know when you were in kindergarten because each bird was a different like academic level of like where you were at learning wise and the yellow bird was the smartest kids class and the green birds were like the third smartest and so I was like you were just a dumb green bird you know like we did our zero multiplication tables when I was in kindergarten oh my God zero though come on my mom said I had more homework in kindergarten but this is the concept of multiplying though to a kindergartner we did it like we and it was happening kindergarten that's why you're so smart no I think that's genetics maybe Riley has something in her ear s next week so does she just grunt while she was scratching her ear yeah Haley does the same thing we have a Mobile Groomer that comes and it's fantastic she just sheds like crazy she's short hair Riley's Labradoodle that she sheds right Rory we haven't figured out yet it's the first episode we haven't seen Rory yet oh she's sitting there chewing on my rug wow right we have like the sticky things you can put on the ground that keep your rugs from sliding and she is effectively almost completely destroyed all of them in the entryway at this point so yeah I think I'm gonna be saying that in the episode I just edited yeah I'm ready to be past the chewing phase [Music] getting all your mom's stuff out yeah we're done done it over with pretty much also I think I'm gonna move the bird nest today because no bird has been back in it for like three weeks now and I feel like I think like I think nesting season is over I think that well there's one egg in it but they haven't been back for like three weeks sometimes they look like there's an egg but it's like once you flip it over it would be like cracked and there's nothing in there no it looks like a full egg that happened last year too though like they have ended up abandoning The Nest last year too because we were using our gazebo oh Amazon's coming home that's another puppy on the I just have to show her this and she'll stop usually I accidentally shocked her last week I don't ever shock her um I just do the sound she knows the sound enough to show up and I I slipped last week and hit the shock button and she's like looking around I was like sorry oh poor girl she's so reactive when I when I got her I had to sign a paper that couldn't let around the kids and other pets really yeah she's it was funny there was this um this kid that moved in up the street in these apartments him and his grandfather and um he they had just moved in the neighborhood and I was walking Haley and he said he stepped out of his door and saw Haley and he came running towards the street and this is me I'm like no no no no no no no no no I'm just like yeah and uh and she immediately like started barking at him and um and getting really aggressive so then like maybe a couple days later they're he's playing with his friends in the yard or whatever he comes up real carefully he's like why is she so mean just like I don't know but uh you just need to keep your distance I think what happened to Riley to Riley freaked out with Haley Barkin yeah she went to try and find out if they were in our yard can you see her like monitoring the door now like no one's getting in here even though she's ever had babies it happens well I guess that's about it for Friday we have a special guest next week how is Connor coming yeah you can see it on the invite no [Music] I put on there adding Connor oh I probably saw it oh yeah yay oh great Justin again yeah yeah shown on mine my boss is like beating together how's your what kind of keyboard are you using my Mac oh that's why it sounds like magic word do you like it with my magic mouse are you gonna buy the the nerd helmet I don't even know what that is the little Vision Pro they're selling for 3 500 have you not figured out the outside of work I don't touch my computer oh my God it's like I we accidentally received a Raspberry Pi in a in an Amazon order and I was like what is this and David was like did you order that I was like no I didn't wow I don't even know what this is so I hit up my this is last year I hit up the team I was managing I was like does anyone want a Raspberry Pi and they were like oh are you baking because they know I bake they know I'm not technical I was like no like the computer raspberry pie so one of them was like you don't want it you could do XYZ I was like sweetie honey Baby I um no not curricular virtual assistant I now so I sent it to one of them who's using it for his 3D printer nice yeah but I was like we're not gonna use it it wasn't in our order so I don't even know how to return it you could have made you could have made a drip irrigation system for your garden I wasn't gardening at that time [Music] let's be honest I'm not maybe a scale for your boxed wine to let you know when it's getting low [Music] what's up yeah I remember that experience well so I've started trying to do like cell like seltzers but they're just so sweet that I can only do like one so a friend of mine was like having me try to react water and I was like I've never even heard of that so Ranch Water but it's a Seltzer but she was like it's not as sweet and it's actually lower calories because she's very like health conscious so she says and she was like this is what we get and it's not too sweet and it's a little bit wider because sometimes like I like beer but I don't always want like the blue of the beer yeah so we have to take Rory to the vet today so I might try and coerce David in the stocking to see if I think I've seen this and didn't know that that's what that was often they're spiked lemonade I like but even then I can only have about two or three and then I'm like okay have you tried the ranch Rita I haven't tried any of them I hadn't heard about it until early yesterday when I was talking to my friend and what's the does it say the ABV on there um I think it does I just can't read it four percent four percent okay so it's like a PBR in alcohol content yeah she's not really good and they're not as sweet which that's the main reason I don't really like sell through the 13th food yeah I've never been a sweet drinker liquor like if I if I was to have to do it it would be like what David like said Jameson or something yeah yeah I can only do so much and I put some lime and potato sometimes a lemon usually Like Liquor instead of getting me drunk it just makes me go to sleep just get sleepy I'll be like I'm going to bed yeah it depends like I remember being in college and back then I don't know how like I functioned the next day because now if I even get like a little too much it's like I need four days and like the drinking games we used to play I think your body's our body has been just metabolized quicker or something yeah well we had so my cousins are all like 10 and 12 years younger than me and on Thanksgiving I went to see my grandma and my cousin was like 22 at the time I was sitting there with his mom hanging out you know my aunt and he was like Hey some of my friends are coming over do you want to play a drinking game with us I was like I mean do I have to really play it or can I like send my part to speak because let's be real here like I'm not gonna drink anything that's been mixed with anything else I'm not doing you know they had a it was like a it's a top and it's a Mexican top that says like different things it looks like a dreidel it's not a dreidel but it's like the same shape like with the edges and it was like called Tomo Toto was the name of it and you spin it and it was like Tomo was give Toto was take I don't remember it's all Spanish so yeah but you're it's like Tomo Toto Rapido as it's spinning and then whatever Stan lands on if you get like Tomo you pass out drinks if you get total you take the drink and then if it lands on this other thing you pour it into like a cup in the middle and that's where I drew the line I said I will happily take and pass out drinks but I will not be drinking whatever y'all are pouring in the middle yeah just be aware now you can just chug a beer if you get that one I said that's fine but I'm not drinking that has different beers and livers in one the last time I chugged the beard oh I can't really chug beer so that's why I was like okay I'll chug a beer even when I was young I couldn't jump beers but it was just really funny because I'm sitting there and I was like I'm so old I was like 32 at the time and I'm like they're like do you want to go out to the bar with us I was like not really after all that yeah yeah I was like I will drive you because I am sober but I'm I'm good because I am old so I like well they talked me to going into the bar because it's called Jeremiah's like Jeremiah was a bullfrog so I go in with them once again I'm in my 30s at this point there's this guy in there and he comes up and he was like talking to me and I was just okay whatever so he walks off and someone was like God that dude can't get out of high school and I was like what he was like he's like the quarterback and His Glory Days were in high school and he won't leave and I was like and he found me and all people in the Box soccer I was joking no I don't I don't have the pep to be a champion I wasn't a sorority though which is shocking to most people I'm not shocked really yeah I expect the unexpected from Allison I mean I was on a sorority for four years like you're dislike of tech uh lemon tiramisu h delicious I'm gonna see if I have my picture of it you use the word curd I remember that yes lemon curd homemade lemon curd yes I don't eat things with the word curtain well I forgot to send you a picture hold on except cheese curds at the bar I'll eat those that's fried cheese curds I forgot to take a picture before we started eating it but yes that's what I have on my phone yes yes it looks good actually it has the word curd in it oh the lemon curd is not like it's really good have you ever made cheese no I've made butter yeah if you make cheese you've literally curdle the milk and it's gross but it's delicious there's no milk in them so it's fine eggs sugar lots of lemons I went through Friday I asked him about his birthday and he was uh not too happy about the trip back I mean I had to drive to Charlotte which is why this is right did you wave did you wave you did I was like that did you guys get the cold snap last night um it was 64 this morning it's 46. in June in June oh no yes we were sitting outside what was it last weekend no not last weekend because that's when he got stuck weekend before that and we were like it's not even hot yet and it's yeah yesterday was beautiful yesterday was just gorgeous yeah all right I have a all right dive it wants to be walked she literally looked up when I said the word it's nice but well happy baking and um I guess talk to you on Monday with Connor yeah we need to start like a sheet of quest ions that
