foreign [Music] it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house that's Justin's house in this video it is part three of the my sheets application from servicenows Innovation lab available from the servicenow store I'm picking up right where I left off recording in part two and what I did before I hit record and the new one is I made a spreadsheet let me go ahead and zoom it in there for you my spreadsheet super simple I've got an idea number in column A I've got an idea in column B I was real creative with the names I've got details for that in column C and I've got category in column D to kind of match what we were doing in videos one and two and I want to see what the import thing is like so let's come out to the home page because I noticed there was one there to actually import from a sheet so I'm going to go to create a new book and we're going to do a quickly import here so that's this button instead of doing a new seat which I'm gonna try here in a second too so we'll choose a file this is in my downloads what's the search for demo for YouTube there we go idea spreadsheet and we'll create the sheet I've got a nice little progress meter wow that was pretty seamless and quick and pretty cool now I still have all the other features that we did when we did the previous video where I can change things I can reorder things and stuff like that I have a feeling this is going to be the same thing yeah so there's nothing special there about importing and one of the things I didn't show in the previous two videos because I didn't know it was there I'm still learning as I'm kind of playing around with this but each of these rows has a functionality with it too so you can insert a row above one you can insert a row below something you can edit the row which will bring up this form and then in the form you can see different activities so it's kind of like a history so I'm going to test that here in this video just to see what that looks like and then what was the last one you can do there we can actually delete the row or duplicate the row so didn't show those in my previous videos but I think they're actually helpful so I'll make sure the thumbnail will show import export and extra Futures Justin forgot to show you but let's go ahead and add a collaborator we'll share this workbase workbook with um we'll just set it to another administrator able or able tutor hit save and then we're just going to impersonate Abel and actually we should probably give this workbook a name um this would be the spread imported spreadsheet so we know which one to select as him and what I'm interested in seeing is what that activity looks like because I didn't even know that was there until prepping for this particular video so let's go ahead and get out of myself and impersonate able here using the impersonation capabilities let's see yeah there's able tutor impersonate user and we'll just shortcut this so we don't have to open up a well it went there anyways slash my sheets there we go and now he should have two there's the imported spreadsheet and let's go ahead and have him make a change to one of these let's actually have him delete one of these rows yep we'll delete that and let's go in and change um the idea name to the Endo 2 0 1 and we'll put in um that's it I'm gonna it's okay so to get out you just click somewhere else oh let's use that new feature we can edit it edit the row I'm using the Forum there we go what do I put in this field um whatever you want we'll answer the question within the field and let's just look at activities save all right so what I'm expecting is there to show okay good so it's now showing the activity tracker Abe updated the details what do I put in this field that's what's to be expected I could duplicate stuff like that and I can move between rows okay I didn't know that was even there until just now so I can move between the different rows and see information about that from there so man lots and lots of functions and features packed into this application that just swung into the App Store in the May updates and so that's it that's what I had prepared for this one importing a spreadsheet and you got your bonus stuff about the road drop down of stuff I didn't show before and the activity in the Forum view when editing a row I hope you found this last video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share with somebody who you think might be interested in what the my sheets application is in service now and until next time don't forget to always be learning foreign [Music] [Music]
