foreign [Music] my name is salooni and I am a technical consultant here at clever Fest today I'm gonna demo how we can change the header color in our servicenow instance so let's go ahead and start I'm gonna start with navigating to Sis ux star table we are gonna go ahead and create new ux style I'm gonna name it custom name and I do have a code that I'm gonna go ahead and copy and paste this basically changes the background color to the red let's go ahead and submit now we are going to go ahead and add this ux style to our theme so let's navigate to themes out of the box we are using Polaris theme but we are not gonna go ahead and make changes to this theme as it is not recommended so I'm gonna go ahead and create new one let's name it custom theme and Save so under app Theme I'm gonna go ahead and add my style which is custom theme and save it no if we go ahead and refresh the page if you notice the the background color is still not changed so what we have to do is we have to override this theme so our new theme is applicable for that we have to create a system property so let's navigate to that create new and the name of the system property is gonna be blind UI Polaris theme custom and the type should be string now we are gonna copy the Society of our custom theme and then paste it right here in the value and Save once it is saved and if I refresh the page the header background should be changed to the red color that is all for today thank you so much for watching foreign
