foreign hey what's going on everyone I'm Andrew McDonald senior business process consultant at Glide fast Consulting and today I'm here to talk about the four new quick start tests that are available in the Utah release specific to CSM the four test Suites are create case from Portal as consumer contributor CSM create case from Portal as account contributor CSM ad related parties on case and perform action on case as related party and the fourth one CSM walkup check in as a walk-up user look at the queue and submit a survey and these Quick Test Suites are really helpful to perform QA integration user acceptance or even regression testing in an automated way and then track those results without having to start from scratch and build your own test Suites or test steps So within each release servicenow creates additional quick start tests that you can use to help speed up and automate these testing steps that you need to do and it utilizes the automated test framework in order to facilitate these tests so to access these new quick start Suites you'll simply navigate to automated test framework and then click on Suites from here you'll just simply type in CSM in the name filter and you'll see the test Suites that are available to you now just click on the test Suite that applies to the test that you want to perform and once you click on that you'll see the test Suite available as well as the quick start tests that are a part of that particular test Suite one thing to note is that depending on the quick start or the test Suite that you click on it may be number one read only because you'll have to copy that quick start test so for example if you look at the CSM portal it's read only and but there's a button to click on copy test Suite that'll copy all of the information that's available to you and then that'll allow you to edit and tailor your quick test or test Suite as you need to so click on copy test suite and then click on the OK button you'll see you'll start copying and then when it's done just click on go to copy and then you'll see that it opens up a copy of that test suite and then everything is unlocked um available for you to edit and you can run your test Suite as needed another thing you'll notice is that based on the the test Suite that you click on or you decide to run there may be additional plugins that need to be installed in order to actually get the test Suites that you're looking for so for example if you look at the DSM contributor user test step you'll see that the CSM contributor user plugin is required in order to even get that quick test so make sure that you install the appropriate plugins before you get started otherwise you may not see them available to you all right so that's all I wanted to go over today I hope this was informative and helpful to you if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to me or go to www.glidefast.com for more information on what we can do for you thank you very much and have a great day [Music] foreign [Music]
