identifiable like like everyone knows an owl yeah yeah no okay awesome did David have any problem with being in the no he said it was fine okay surprise I will send him any paperwork but he was like I did not have proper authorization I was like you're in it for like one minute that's fine actually it's funny is he's in it for longer than I realized he was even there so I'm watching the video back I'm going here I am talking all this time David's like pop the pier popping upstairs I have no idea to be creeping around so are you in the Myrtle I am [Music] pretty today warm we're cold um it's let's see 66 right now not too bad it's like we sat out on the beach yeah about an hour and a half two hours me and I can work on my tan I was in the driveway yesterday and um I looked out of my legs and I was like because this is the black driveway and my legs run top and I was just like oh my God I'm so busy so wouldn't that go with the white background up here last night I'm kidding tan so that sounds like a good weekend to me I was gonna ask you the Virginia to see so David's daughters and show choir and so we went up they had a apparently they're like competitions or clothes to families or something and so they had just like a showcase so you're not out there caring and like making noise I guess so we went Saturday and it's so funny because like I have no musical abilities like whatsoever like I took piano for a while and I was terrible at it and so I didn't do it long I did it for like two years and like some of these kids don't know that they don't have musical abilities yeah I always knew yeah and so and some do like there were some really talented people that like his daughter just likes to dance so she enjoys like the choreographed part of it but um so we did that Saturday and hung out with some of his friends that we haven't seen in a while but that's fun yesterday morning sorry I was I interrupted I was gonna say it must be nice to have like a a place other than home to go to second hold it's nice to get to guys even because both workers it's not like I'm taking PTO to be here and I'm getting to look at those we've always said if I if it wasn't for the dog like we could be on vacation somewhere today and then we could be vacation at night yeah I mean that's what we do here I mean as soon as like five o'clock hits depending on the day obviously because the world of Consulting because Nano doesn't care about age five but we generally like we walk the beach a couple times and we sometimes we'll go to dinner is today day one or two no so oh no oh here we go no so because we were going to Virginia for the weekend we were going out with his friends we did everything last week knowing we were gonna start over and so we're kind of doing the same thing this week of we're still gonna do everything like throughout the days knowing we're gonna start over but like next week it's like not starting over and I found out I'm going to knowledge and so thank you too I did this morning oh you're you're no you I found out about you this morning all right our weekly call yeah so I found out I'm going and I'm like great I will be trying my hardest to not break any of my stuff breaking of your stuff for the hard 75. oh yeah we talked about this last weekend well what happened to Vegas stays in Vegas so I don't want to know unless you want to share it here not drinking and baby the other parts aren't that bad and when is that it's May 16th I get there on the 15th and I leave on you get there on a Monday leave on a Thursday yeah well I get there at like 1 30 on Monday and then Tuesday I actually found out and so I'm gonna try and go over there for a little bit because I haven't seen any of my cohorts since we graduated or whatever you want to call it so I think it would be cold like to see them again so I'm gonna try to go over there and but it's only for a couple hours on Tuesday I gotta see what all we have planned for cross views I need to get you um some utterly Allison marketing stuff there we go there are some I think any of the ones I want in stock so I'm just like what do you think would be uh what do you think would be popular for you to hand out stickers I don't know stickers yeah like a cute little out of a sticker all right sticker sticker stickers all right new list page one three four remember this was the you know reasons not to have children's checklist oh yeah that's right it's five pages long now and I'm gonna put stickers on it stickers are another reason not to have children they will be all over your house and on everything you love I put them on my journals um or water bottles or yeah see and then if you get like a cute plain water bottle you can put the sticker on there then I'm gonna have to uh blur out my internal entry your Journal today that's from 2016. oh I remember that I definitely yeah I don't Journal I've heard it's therapeutic so I have to like I want to make it a better practice but do you ever get like where you start like um say you have a problem an issue or like a maybe a person or whatever and your brain just won't let it go like and so you're so I feel like when that happens to me I'm just like write it down and you'll know it's there you can go read it I never do it's just like get it out of my head because I can't keep thinking about this yeah yeah I mean like so I used to have to write like the agile stories and this is like sort of related but like sometimes to write them because if you've seen them they're they're weird you know as a so-and-so and I had a hard time getting like the technical out of my head because there's not supposed to be technical in them and so I just started putting it like part of our methodology we have like our technical steps or technical notes and so getting that out of your brain then lets you write the story better so I totally get that because I would be trying to like write the solution and I'm like that's not what this is for and it's interesting you say that because I had um I think I talked about this with you before and I did a proof of concept recently and I was obsessing over it and like losing sleep yeah and I I one at one point I thought well maybe I should just write the stories for this like as if we were going to deliver on it and then I'm like well I don't know what stories to write like I don't I'm like they're leaving this completely up to me so I ended up not writing stories and I just went for it but anyway buy this video I because some of the people like I follow on Tick Tock I'm like here's my morning routine I'm like no I'm not gonna get up and drink mushroom coffee and then journal for 30 minutes like I'm I'm good there's the one that I think is funny that just well God bless them whoever they are but they get up and meditate for 30 or 60 minutes I'm like that's sleeping you're just sleeping like you're sleeping awake yes no but it's so funny because because people who say karate like helps with kids whatever they are so right like I love my son to death but he is always like 90 to nothing and so we were on our way to karate hope I'm going to share my screen and I was like what are you doing and he was like I'm never hating and I was like okay for meditating but I was just like oh my gosh what are you doing and so then when he gets to karate this is what they do at karate because they meditate before class that's impressive that they get foreign okay I know that is a good school like not making noises sitting still yeah sitting still not making noises I was just like because our first class was rough for me because I was like my child is running a muck he's just doing whatever and like now he got to break his board first because he was listening the best in the most still and I'm like my child Dexter okay did they really break the board this is like balsa wood and it's coming step down on it yeah I always wondered if that was real I figured yeah they do but but they're like pre-bent a little bit I think I have a picture of him let's move forward too experiencing because you know I take a million pictures I was gonna get a video of breaking his word I need to edit these out I'm just thinking about editing okay fine where is it out there it is for all y'all that are watching or listening I have to check and see what I what I can show and what I can't yeah so there's his first board that he broke in half he was very proud see what I'm still trying to figure out how to tie a belt but you know wow that's awesome he got he got his first stripe which I don't know what that means but he got one and was super excited don't you get something yeah where you go to the next color belt I think I'm learning all of this I'm I didn't do karate as a kid and my brother briefly did it but he just wanted the outfit what's it called he just wanted the ghee they're pretty cool so he didn't last long oh yeah Chuck Norris everybody want to be a Chuck Norris back in our day I used to love the Chuck Norris joke oh those are those are awesome those are classic I know uh what you should watch Cobra Kai to catch you up on the karate scene yeah yeah I mean I've seen the original Karate Kids I even saw the one with Will Smith's son I haven't seen that one though Jaden I'm all bad you know it's not the same you hear it I like the series the series is good and I'm not even a karate person I like the references to the old stuff yeah bad guy Johnny is it Johnny in it yes and he's a he's my favorite character him and um him and uh Ralph macchiato whatever his name is the who was the main character for the movie yeah yeah they're both like as adults they're they're just great they're great characters they're like they they hate each other but because the all the family elements and the kids they have to get along for something yeah I just kept hearing sweet the leg Johnny and the bad guys back and I don't like him [Music] the guy with the ponytail yeah just I think last season next season's the last one so I think I've asked you I don't yeah I don't okay okay no no I don't want to get political but they have a huge Maga store here and that's what it was about yes like it's how have you not told me this before but it is so funny because it is so accurate have you just go find this episode well and I don't but you know I like random you know shows they also had one about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that was also so true called the worldwide privacy tour they're going around demanding everyone keep their them private even though they're like making a spectacle and it's hysterical because it's just so true it is like that's a really great way to like what was that did you hear that no it's a great way to like juxtapose that the two huge issues with them it's like they open their privacy but they're they're profiting off of their lack of privacy so yeah I don't know I should be careful when I want people I know so I was like I didn't want to get too political but the one for Myrtle Beach it's just it's so funny it's so accurate that's awesome I'll have to go watch that sounds worth it now do you know what does that okay how do I ask this without being um political does the store that you mentioned that I won't repeat um is it connected in any way with politicians or is it purely a profitable Adventure no from what I can I can see and that's not connected lies you know yeah I guess they could donate if they wanted yeah yeah but I don't really haven't been I wasn't gonna even ask I didn't think I needed to do fine for it around town and so when the episode came we've now decided we have to at least drive by because you can't not after seeing the episode but yeah takes a picture of you with driving I'll send you a I'm gonna send you a bobble head in the mail foreign I had no ideas that's really interesting yeah yeah South Park I am yeah is that a show you sit down and watch every week like because I like a family thing I never on and off but had never like watched it watched it he watches it every week and so I don't mind it I think there's a couple episodes that I think are for the most part it's pretty funny because they make fun of everybody equally like there's no like everyone's fair game and it's funny because they're usually true it's more funny when it's true we're actually going to see Book of Mormon next week is that right yeah the it's a play or a musical that's been on Broadway for years but it was created by the South Park people heard of it so a lot of their episodes yeah a lot of their episodes I hate to say they're make funny they're making fun of Mormons which I do not but I saw it in Tulsa a couple years ago and it's hysterical I mean the whole thing is so funny and very well done just the whole whether missionaries okay yeah yeah you know they were going to the missionaries I just never understood it yeah Mormons and they are like the nicest like literally the nicest people but the the show is hysterical David's not sure if he'll like it but I was like I know it's a musical but you'll like it like it I don't think I've met a Mormon person in my entire life but David used to work for a company predominantly owned by Mormons and he said he had to buy his own coffee pot because they don't drink caffeine and so he had to like buy his own well because there wasn't like a community coffee pot yeah no they don't drink coffee today like it's against their religion and so I bet you I've met one and just don't know that I'm at one because it probably yeah but I met one a missionary on a flight one time and I sat and talked to him for a little bit and was just because our flight kept getting delayed and I forget where he told me he went it was some place I would have not wanted to go I was just like oh how was that and he was like it was an experience I was like oh what interesting yeah yeah I've never done anything like that either but some people are passionate about it I know yeah at the end of the day they're not hurting anyone I don't think I think so yeah I'd hope not as long as people are trying to like make the world better you know with whatever they're trying to do I don't mind even they're finding their passion that makes them happy is that I wish you were going to knowledge with me because what behind you the little handle is that like a it's my Beach I wish I was going to knowledge and I'm glad I'm not going to knowledge um and I know people probably get sick of me talking about my dog but she's getting old and like Zach started these slow walks now and it's just like do I really want to be gone for five days in a row and you know before yeah I don't I just get it to her travel days so those don't even count so then you're at like two days now maybe you know if if our podcast takes off and we can my other stuff that I'm doing generate some extra spending money um I could write it off like I could pay for the ticket and write it off um pan for your trip right yeah yeah well next year we could just submit to speak and knowledge yeah someone told me something like that and what would I speak about questions that's a good q a without with the auto oh we can do a live Auto layout or something I know cry for knowledge yes see we could do that it's silver I don't think we need to do it in person I'll come to Asheville we'll put it I've got I've thought about that because I thought about like a recurring thing where you and I either meet in between cities or I come there you come here but the thing is like I don't have a setup for all that like my my camera is part of the computer like and it's doable people do it all the time I just that's another skill I gotta learn now any one of those what is it like the conference type cameras where you like can see those people yeah yeah I have a fancy mic and a ring light because I did like a virtual presentation got the lights and you know the shed you have a GoPro you could just set the GoPro up on a little stand did you not see my Instagram picture last night it's not a GoPro oh we'll see that's fine watch this Isn't that cool it's um so watch see how it stays it's like the chicken head you were talking about it's a it's on a Gimbal and that's what reduces this when I'm running I mean it's still there you can still just reduce everything but see you could just do that could actually you know what you're right we could do this uh Casey neistat I think I don't think he uses this but he does a lot of that stuff too he's a big big time YouTuber um I mean we've been getting some of his fans over here great I was gonna ask you something we're running out of time crap crap crap what was I gonna ask you um to get you swag at knowledge no I didn't end up throwing that oh well can I say this I have to say that offline um there's something our company is doing that I'll talk about offline but oh let's see I can't remember what I was going to ask you I knew I would ask you about the recording I sent over the weekend just everybody knows I like while I'm recording while I'm editing I text Allison like like crazy and bother her over the weekend odd hours can you believe you just said this half the time I don't remember is there anything at knowledge like have you looked at the agenda yeah no I just found out on Thursday I was going and so I was trying to get my son's school because there weren't enough teachers last week he couldn't go because like there's laws regarding like how many adults for children ratios so I had him Thursday and Friday and Wednesday at home so I didn't get to do a lot of researching but this week I'm gonna get stuff planned but I'm gonna spend a lot of my time like with some of our customers it's kind of gonna be up to them I'm gonna text a few people like I said I'm gonna try and do the CMA thing and then um my old rep who I loved she's wonderful I'm gonna see if she's gonna be there so servicenow rep she was my rep for several years before like when I worked on the customer side and like one time she was like we're gonna go get manicures and pedicures because if guys can go play golf we can go do what we like to do I was like I'd rather get a manicure pedicure than to play golf personally well [Music] I'm gonna text her see if she'll be she lives in Dallas but she's I would assume she'll be there based on her account so I saw that uh One Republic will be playing are you a fan One Direction from One Direction okay well everyone in the little chat we have is like One Direction's gonna be there I was like are they even abandoned they're not they're not together anymore wow and then I was like if Harry and Niles are gonna be there like I know it was after my time now I got watermelon sugar in my head again thank you you're welcome that song I so I feel so I say his name but like I saw a clip of him like on The Voice like talking to one of the contestants I was like oh my gosh she's so sweet like he's such a nice person foreign yeah there's probably a reason that they're successful yeah yeah because service now sent out an email I guess they're trying to get people to sign up yeah they sent it to me twice and I was just like not going not going still not going no One Republic's gonna be there I do like One Republic yeah I think the one time I wasn't in service now service now when I went it was the um we went to Universal Studios it was down in Orlando and they just shut down the park whatever but the um the one that it was a SharePoint conference in Bon Jovi was the thing and I was with a colleague who's older than me I was just like I have no interest in seeing Bon Jovi and he's like well I'm going to see Bon Jovi I'm like I love Bon Jovi the very first conference I went to was a McAfee conference and who was the I think it was Third Eye Blind that's my that's my band and I saw them it was Third Eye Blind yeah and I was just like I'm pretty sure but why it was like 12 years ago at this point but it was really good like the concert was really good and there was this uh trend on Instagram that I didn't do but it had a picture of a disconnect Sony Discman and I said reply with what would be inside your Discman and I was like Third Eye Blind I listened the heck out of there like I can't watch the studio was but yeah I would ride my bike I started driving burger that you would yes into your desk men and then you had to get the non-skip Discman because if it was just in your car it'd hit a bump and then remember like and then you get the little things in the trunk of your car so you could put 12 CDs in and move I never did that but yeah because I was not that fancy but I had the visor with the CDs and then I had my others under my feet just in case I remember like I remember that time here but I remember this is a very vivid memory of being so bored like on the way to or from the school looking out the window and on the median of the road there'd be little spools of tapes that people had thrown out their car windows because they you know it messed up or whatever and I'm like you don't see that anymore there's no tapes on the the roads anymore I found a bunch of my old bird CDs not long ago I was like I'll have a CD player because I was like oh my gosh I wonder what's on here and then I was like I don't have a CD player doesn't even know on your computer yes for that one I have a Macbook and even on I have a work computer and I have my MacBook which I don't really use my word forever it doesn't even have Squat and so I was like I also have a bunch of DVDs and I was like even if I wanted to watch these I don't have a DVD player anymore it's amazing isn't it burnt CDs I cannot even imagine what is on someone Here's a thought exercise for you so how you feel right now about DVDs CDs right you think where your heads at imagine what this is gonna be like I know what's going to replace it I know application where I'm like I'm technically a millennial but I'm like the year it's cut off and so people say that like my little gap which I think you're in it too is like they call them zinnials because it's like part Gen X part Millennial because we were like I'm like 85 and so it was like right on the line of like we remember that we remember not having Internet then getting dial up then like we've seen so many technological changes and I was laughing when we were driving down here from Virginia the route we normally take the GPS was like oh we have a faster route just like oh by the way here's a faster route because there's a wreck or whatever and I'm sitting there like I just have to print out Mapquest before I left myself and like if there would have been a wreck I just would have been like sorry because I just had my print out of my math I remember the pronounce and I remember I had an actual GPS in the car that would have to download yeah Maps every once in a while yeah what it is too my Garmin I think I probably still have it at my mom's house garbage that was it yes yeah sorry I'm getting so caught oh 82 is what I was gonna say I'm 1982. and I feel with the same I feel like I understand the old world in the new world because I'm a bridge between the two like and my dad had a um uh the little they want cassettes they were eight tracks yeah and then my friend had laser discs that we couldn't afford and I remember watching like some Disney thing like Fantasia Fantasia Fantasia yeah on a laser day we had a we had a beta is that player is that the like the size video yeah and some of my favorite movies are on our betamax and then it quit working and then when we got the rewinder did you have one of those for your VHS tape where you'd stick the tape in and pop it down and Rewind the whole thing no we had to put it in the VCR and then rewind yeah oh no we had like a side thing that we would pop it in and it would rewind it charge fees if you brought them back would not rewind oh God that's crazy yeah and my dad used to work from home and so we had three phone lines at our house so he had like two work lines and then we had our house phone well then when me and my brother got older they got us our own phone line you know well just because our friends would call we got older and cell phones weren't a thing so you had to call someone's house you know which was stressful but we had our own line but that's the one that our dial up internet was connected to so if we get mad at each other we'd pick up the phone was off the computer my brother would do that to us yes I'd be like I have the porn halfway downloaded it's just one picture they'd go pick up the phone line yeah no we didn't like we just got on AOL to play my my go to chat rooms with the ASL you know yes if my mother ever knew she would have been like what did you do oh gosh I I remember meeting people if my parents had known like yeah you've been in what you met this person like yeah I mean we were always smart about it like we always if we met someone we like had we did it in public yeah like the movie theater like remember those yeah yeah no so my best friend at the time I know she is not listening to this because she probably doesn't even know I'm doing this but like we were going so she had been in like she was much more forward than I was I was extremely shy when I was that age but were you gone and there was there was a guy that was like all right I'll meet you at the movie theater and I'll be wearing yellow shorts and was like fully describing himself we never did we always all the case like we got here yeah yellow shirt or yellow shorts guy we still laugh about we did not we saw him and laughed was he an old man no he wasn't an old man we never gotten one of those situations thankfully like as we're talking about I'm like thankfully I was never murdered or like trafficked but yeah yellow shorts guy we still laugh about because like he was texting her and she was like I'm here I don't see it well and you only got like five texts a month or whatever you know so it's not like we could just sit there and have the conversations like we do now I think I had like 20 text messages a month it was hard to send a text message too you had to hit like four four yeah five five five five yeah and we have a whole episode of this one are you I know I feel like I'm living my past here I know I didn't even have Internet on my phone until I was because I refused it for a long time so I was like I don't need it and I couldn't afford it at the time because I was working like a very low paying job and I was just like I can't afford it I don't really need it and so I was like actually we're like really late to the party I think it was like 2 000 2013 maybe before I got internet on my phone wow yeah I mean that's well that's probably when it became more ubiquitious though I hope I'm using the word right um but more more like they became more affordable and when they became more affordable like everybody had them yeah yeah well I got it because I was about to take a consulting job and needed it and the company paid for my phone yeah I was just saying like you know I was like okay but I was like my company paid for it and I used to help the person that manage the cell phone bills and you know it would be like only two gigs per phone and like it went over like the prices were crazy yeah I know I would accidentally hit it on my old phone and be like no no no no no because you'd have to hit the internet button you know oh and then the charges start wow that reminds me of Sprint for some reason I don't know why uh well we are eight minutes over our time um did you know what episode number it is um I like testing Allison eleven yes so knowledge would probably be a lost week for us yeah yeah because I have to drive to Charlotte to fly out because like the flight times out of Augusto and Colombia were just terrible except I wonder if we could plan like a special guest for the knowledge week yeah okay so that's your assignment you have to pick a co-host for Justin for the week of knowledge and that'll be our first guest ooh I could just do we could just move it and I could do it live from knowledge you can just find she's so competitive she's like I don't want to give him another person no but I could like find someone who's going to be acknowledged let's do it and I'm down I have to drive to Charlotte Monday morning not early like my flight's not until like 11 30 but okay I mean David they can be brief yeah it could be like 10 minutes it could be 15 minutes Jim trezo will be there I could just walk around the floor with my phone you have to test Riverside on your phone okay we can do that later that link always works I think it always works if it doesn't just excellent we can we can before I leave well we can record it just to see how it all looks too because well but you know what I said yeah we won't publish it yeah it'll just be one big owl hoot there we go dropping f-bombs everywhere I was listening to that and I was like why did I say the f word it was totally unnecessary like I just laughed out maybe I was having a bad morning or something so it was like oh I've had plenty of opportunities to use if that what I was talking about wasn't that big of a deal I thought it was funny and then David's in the room said I did it in front of my boss so that was great he doesn't care he said we're probably in your team meetings yeah probably which I've gotten like are you gonna be there today okay I will be there today I have two delivery announcements I heard one already oh yeah but you'll have to edit that okay yeah I didn't say his last name I guess that's true yeah it's fine now I know how to edit out though I can just Trail put like a I should take the owl and put it over my like my my lips too late now I've already added another one so oh and by the way are you done watching oh you're 10 minutes in that's right oh yeah you have to let me know so I have to I know right now I'm 10 minutes but I will be done today I might sit down here and listen to it drag my Beats here now I was so glad to get it done over the weekend instead of on a weeknight being that behind yeah that's how I felt ICS I finally feel like I'm catching back up knock on wood yeah I know oh wait what am I propped up on today candle okay it's a little outdoor like table top fire pit no way like with charcoal or something it has like liquid in it that's gonna see yeah it's got this liquid in there and then you just light it I don't even see the flame no you're just barely coming through it it'll come through on the post edit so is it like um there's a bug stuff because we're gonna get one of the um the solo stove makes a little table pop one it uses this you can't I can't read it it'll come through later ethanol High Purity liquid fueled hey if you doesn't do that I put the paws in their noses and everything else seems like yes they do yeah oh Dexter has two Sprouts already oh which brought it first cucumbers cucumbers oh interesting yeah my cucumber says Friday too I'm gonna text you right now um a picture of my garden okay from last night let's see and I have to do this again tonight yeah the girl that's watching our house was like I was like hi I hate to be this person that can be water next or something like that I don't know how long it takes to come through but I'm not an Android I wasn't on an iPhone I see it already I like your owl I told somebody it was like um it's like a slumber party leftovers in my garden there's blankets everywhere did it freeze it did not it only got to 38 last night and we had a frost warning last night and a freeze warning yeah tonight which means it goes below 31 I think your grass is really green yeah it's been really important witchcraft the front grass or the back grass the front and the one in a little square in the front I cut that one with scissors why because it's really small it's a really small area I didn't have to taste like a weed whacker it's hand manicured by Justin hey Dexter Sprouts by the way but they have something called mulch glue that if you have like a rock path and you're getting annoyed by the rocks by getting out of skew and like getting off the path you can use mulch glue and it'll keep them in place no that sounds awesome though I'll see if I still have the link because yeah oh no oh no they're like little bitty oh I'm so excited for him bye now he's mad at me right now okay so when I'm at the condo oh he's not with you no and he's mad at me about it he's like you went again without me I'm like yeah yes I did careful he knows karate apparently I know I know so can you run down the list cucumbers what else cucumbers peppers um green onions regular onions I think I planted lettuce because I was curious if it would actually grow and then I went and got a small pot because he wanted to do tomatoes like the cherry tomatoes he likes to take them off yeah I did the tomatoes separate because I didn't buy his upset not really upset but he was like where are my tomatoes I was like We'll go buy some I did read up on that and if I planted my peppers next to my tomatoes but what it is is they're from the same plant family and apparently they use the same resources so it's a good idea not to put them together because they'll compete for resources but uh mine are far enough apart that it doesn't matter that's good upstairs so it looks
