[Music] foreign [Music] let's take a look at the decision tree Builder a new capability in the 2023 Q2 store release decision tree Builder enables admins and process owners to rapidly construct and deploy guided decision trees previously it was not easy for admins to create guided decision trees using the classic UI 16. it was hard to visualize the layout the nodes connection points and branching logic process owners needed an easy intuitive non-technical interface to build guided decision trees the decision tree Builder is our solution to enhancing the authoring experience let's take a look in this demo we'll take a look at an existing guided decision tree and you'll see it in action We Begin by navigating to all and typing in guided decision trees under recommended action action type select guided decision trees let's go ahead and select a pre-existing decision tree this is the phone not working decision tree assuming you have the appropriate roles you can go ahead and click on open inbuilder hooray this is the canvas that we have for visualizing guided decision trees you'll notice that we can see at a glance the overall tree structure and the branching logic let's have a closer look going into the first node the root of the tree we are asking a question is the phone powered up as this is a question node it has a number of possible responses you could have static responses like yes or no you could also Drive responses from a table if required you could have multiple questions in a node and you could have multiple choices related to each question now in this example if we answer yes we'll go down this path if we answer no we'll go down this path this is called a path and a path has conditions in this example we've set the condition to say is the phone powered up if it is then that equals yes otherwise we would Branch down the other path a guided decision tree represents a series of nodes connected with paths that it will eventually terminate at a leaf in this example we terminate of the leaf it could be this light bulb here if we click on it we can see that the decision tree is going to point us to a guidance there are a number of guidances that we offer out of the box related to proposing a solution updating a case associating a knowledge article for example you can also set the various input fields for the guidance so for example what you might want to do is based on the answer that the user provided in the guided decision tree you may want to pass those through as values to the guidance in addition to that you could pick up fields of data off the record you can even Traverse the case record to any related record so if you needed to go up from the case up to the account perhaps down to a service level agreement as an example you would be able to do that as well so you can essentially dot walk the object model in order to select a value that you might provide as input when you click on Save the system will save the entire tree if you click on activate it will validate the true structure is valid so what it will do is it will make sure that all the nodes are connected all the paths have Associated choices with it and it'll give you a warning to say if there is any invalidation invalidation that you need to fix let's have a look at this guided decision Tree in action so here we are on case number 1082 in the CSM configurable workspace phone not working no one hears my screen and on the right hand side in the contextual side panel you can see that we have the various recommended actions the first recommended action is our phone not working let's go ahead and click on start and we can make our way through the guided decision tree so in this example we'll say is the phone powered up yes next uh is the phone registered in broadsoft no next and we can make our way through the goddess decision tree the system will keep a history of the decision trees that are executed and the various paths at the end of traversing through a decision tree we may be pointed to a guidance in which case we will take any of the input values that we have provided and pass it over to the guidance to actually perform an action perhaps we want to update the case or trigger a workflow or whatever the situation may be so there we have it decision tree Builder improves the lives of admins with an easy intuitive non-technical Builder interface support teams can provide common guidances for routine tasks they can drive better decision logic by passing contextual information seamlessly from a decision tree into a guidance test drive tree Builder today new in the Utah Q2 store release thank you
