[Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house it's time for another servicenow store highlights episode 428 2023 that's right SSH vo428-2023 we've got a big one here this is a big new release day in the service network episode I guess I should say we've got 43 applications to cover and uh of those 43 19 of them are new releases we've got 10 highlights seven compatibility updates people getting updated to Utah there's three little itty bitty fixes and just four release notes fails so that's going to be the agenda for this episode let's get right to it and knock out those release notes fails uh we'll just sort here and I'll say none and then we'll grab the release notes fails and you see I've got Finance operation Service delivery patient trial study oversight qualis core and service graph connector for open Telemetry these were all release notes fails if you're new to the channel That means there was no release notes or the release notes were repeated from the last version and I couldn't figure out what got updated so I don't know what to tell you other than they got updated but I don't know what changed so if that's the fail there let's go next to our fixes there was just a few of those we have calendar component from servicenow actually guard rails and quality clouds all had some minor minor fixes so if you're using one of those apps go check out those minor fixes you might be interested in them next up were the compatibility updates all of them were to Utah so we've got automation Edge BT Digital Services nucleus security qualis vmdr rubric service graph connector for four Scout and unall case management now some of these were technically released notes fails but I was able to see that Utah got added as a supported release so I could tell oh they just updated this to be compatible with Utah so that's the bunch that is updated with compatibility updates and so that leaves us with our new releases and like I said at the beginning we've got 19 of these so we're going to try to cover these quickly first is Ams due diligence application Management Services by advania key features here provides an overview of platform usage customization configuration csdm and cmdb and integration used by advania for assessing managed service agreements we do have some screenshots on here there is a dashboard for csdm cmdb core data now we've got another tab for customization and custom objects another tab for maintenance another tab for functionality another back to the original tab so that's four of those right there and that's the new app from advania next up on our list is going to be button component Dash teen on by tinon software custom button for Tenon so it looks like a button component custom component of a simple button to use in the UI Builder let's go ahead and take a look at that button there it is and there you can see that you button actually being used in a workspace or a portal whichever that one that is that they created using UI Builder all right so that's what's new from them next is capgemini future franchise services this is unite franchise operations to drive business value with future franchise services from servicenow and capgemini key features mobile franchisees portal dashboards franchisees service management intelligence door operations contract and title management and parts management and repair Loop tactical features automated routing internet of things and proactive monitoring CNB for I cmdb for it and not it predictive intelligence and appointment scheduling and dispatch so no screenshots on this one and that's what's new from capgemini Technologies up next on our list is going to be the CDO dashboard or chief digital officer dashboard that provides visibility of the health and productivity of the digital properties from servicenow key features use this dashboard to get visibility to health and productivity of digital properties it's built using next experience and metrics are powered by performance analytics let's take a look at what that looks like that's a new look for a dashboard haven't seen that one before sentiment usage operations transformation and outcome and that's my only screenshot so that's what's new for the CDO dashboard I will highlight this is from The Innovation lab so remember those do not carry any warranties and are not supported but still looks pretty cool after Studio dashboard we've got ciso dashboard also from servicenow key features here a single pane of glass view of end-to-end security operations like the previous one built using next experience and performance analytics we've got the single screenshot of risk exposure compliance security incidents vulnerabilities and audits looks like this one is also from The Innovation lab store so it comes with that warning side note some of these are uninstallable you can't remove them after you put them in so FYI just be very careful when playing around with these or doing your PDI and see what that looks like um if it's available in your PDI they actually don't say up here if it is like they usually do next on the list is GC dashboard or general counsel uh helps legal team gain visibility into Legal Service delivery and operations key features what I just said plus it's built on the next experience we've got a single screenshot contract Service delivery privacy and compliance digital forensics and self-service from servicenows Innovation lab just like the other two we just saw next is going to be header component from T9 I'm not going to clip in that one but it's obviously a component in UI Builder just like the button that we looked at previously next hexaware Tensai tensei an integrated hyper automation platform that helps Enterprises adopt end-to-end automation across their it and business processes while having complete visibility on the IR Roi key features centralized AI engineering Persona views predictive AI Ops Enterprise Discovery identity orchestration robust partner ecosystem technical features multi-tenancy microservices-based architecture in citizen development no screenshots but that's what's new from hexawear Tensai I hope I'm saying it right next from impravada the impravada identity governance connector uh request and manage access to applications and critical resources while maintaining the highest control of security and compliance key features uh requested integration with improvado's identity governance solution and spoke supports automated provisioning of application accounts and entitlements we do have some screenshots there's a little Network or architecture diagram of how it connects to servicenow there is a flow in flow designer complete with stages and uh steps for application account request flow this is the request form so filling out a request for an application account and then back to that diagram so that's what's new from imprivada up next we've got a list component and a menu component from Teen on so again UI Builder components for their application we'll go check out pagerduty automation then that is a run book automation for your itsm workflows key features integrated with itsm workflows allow triggering automation actions from client side or server-side scripts we've got some screenshots before and after not sure what they're trying to show here maybe disconnected processes with alerts and tickets um yeah so yeah whatever that's supposed to mean run deck create servicenow incident has uh whether it's complete or not and I'm not really understanding what this is just yet it might come to me here in a second automation of web hooks to create items from GitHub the this looks like maybe the connection to pagerduty pager duties project um even more interesting now uh run deck after is not loading so that we got the before at the beginning that was the before but no after let's just try that one more time yeah the Run deck after didn't load so um not quite sure what this is I know somebody at Panther duties I might hit them up for uh an explanation on this let's just read this real quick automatically or manually trigger provisioning Diagnostic and repair actions from itsm workflows works with existing scripts or tools to enhance ticket information automate repetitive tasks servicenow itsm plus painter Duty automation will help you have shorter incidents fewer escalations and a quicker turnaround time on service requests so it requires rundeck Enterprise so this is an integration with some other product run deck and that is something I'm not familiar with which might be why I'm so confused but that's what's new from paider Duty in the servicenow store next ship ease track we actually had shippies last week so it's like another new application this is tracking shipments have never been easier uh key features adds visibility to shipment progress like never before freeing agents work on meaningful tasks latest location updates carrier delays and delivery notifications is entirely automated major carriers supported USPS UPS and FedEx out of the box no matter where the label was created there is our menu item there is a tracked shipment I'm having Deja Vu from last week because I swear we went over this last week but it came up new this week let's just make sure I'm going to go to that store application in my instance in my PDI and see this should have a record I've got version one we crawled it yesterday and I have just one single version history of what I got yesterday initial release of shippy's track um interesting so shippies maybe released a sub component last week let's go look at the store applications um you're kind of getting a view of how my new workspace is looking so let's just search for ship ease I just want to clear this up and see if something's broken with my crawler no okay so there was an app release last week for shipping's core this week it should be track so core was designed to help work more efficiently create maintenance and track packages of any kind and this must be this track must be a sub component or sub application for that okay so we answered that question let's get back to the episode then next is going to be more components from Teen on software this explains all the new all the new releases uh the side modal component the slush bucket component and the stats bar All released as singular apps for their components from Tenon so we won't cover that next is Tableau connector new this week connect service down to Tableau export and start analyzing your service now table tables data I think that possess possessive table data with Tableau in just three minutes key features export any servicenow tables and Fields including custom ones effortly include numerous tables and Fields generate multiple data sources or data sets unlimited data export capabilities Advanced filtering options robust permission settings dot walking mechanism for exporting reference type data pre-type data eliminates manual conversion user-friendly and familiar interface engineered for high availability and high availability and Optimal Performance access to a qualified technical support team and comprehensive user admin guide for seamless navigation and usage we've got some screenshots let's check them out there's that portal they're referencing in the different data sources we've got a data source being edited and okay so you manage this through the portal so you're going to add a table to be exported and then go configure things all through the Tableau connector in the portal here's more editing of the data source and uh there is the connection connection and Tableau at this picture of Tableau name and password and then we're back to the portal landing page for this new app from uh AC soft Inc next is another component from Tenon tabs component so let's see what Tina's been up to we have Tenon marketing Work Management this must be where all those components were setting up here marketing works on tinon I hope I'm saying that right key features workflow solution enables marketing teams to manage the full life cycle of their marketing work from campaigns to projects and tasks marketing teams now how to streamline an efficient way to deliver their marketing work all right so I can see there's that button component so this is built in next experience and everything there's a sidebar so all those different apps that we saw but here's the dashboard looks like you can move to my tasks there's product release 2.8 there's task view right there there's a CMO dashboard and back to the main dashboard that we're looking at there before okay so that's what's new from tnon that filled up our new releases this week but that's okay that's how UI Builder Works those little components are released as separate applications and that is the end of the new releases so let's go quickly to our highlights of the week we only have 10 of them I believe let's check them out let's see um yep I got 10 highlights uh a t and t e bonding got updated to version
