My library Knowledge Sources To Go is very popular, but it was intended mainly as a thematically grouped guide to standard sources and was provided by me as a PDF file. What is Platform Analytics?

Platform Analytics is a comprehensive analytics solution introduced by ServiceNow in the Tokyo release, designed to centralize performance analytics, user experience analytics, and reporting in one location. It provides a unified experience for actionable analytics and reporting, allowing users to create proactive data visualizations, monitor user interactions, and track key performance indicators (KPIs). This capability, built into the Now Platform, enables organizations to improve business performance, enhance user experiences, and deliver proactive insights. Platform Analytics offers features such as configurable workspace dashboards, data visualizations, and process mining capabilities, helping businesses uncover trends, optimize services, and make informed decisions. As ServiceNow plans to phase out traditional Core UI reports and dashboards by the Zurich release in 2025, Platform Analytics is set to become the default analytics solution for all ServiceNow implementations.

How to Use the Migration Center

As of Washington, we deliver a migration tool to move your analytics data (content being "reports, PA widgets, Interactive filters, and dashboards" from CoreUI) to our Platform Analytics experiences into filters, data visualizations, and dashboards.​ During Washington and Xanadu this all be an opt-in capability. Through current plans, in Zurich, we will automatically move your content to Platform Analytics upon upgrade.​
