ServiceNow JavaScript executor for Client side debugging
we all know how useful background scripts can be in the right hand when you are debugging or doing some work on things like server-side scripting like uh script includes or business rules what about client-side can you use a background script well the answer I hope and you're sharing the screen is no you can't enter JavaScript executor so if you click the buttons Ctrl alt shift and J got it right and I'll put a little thing up just so you can visually see it that'll load a box like this so if you're messing around on let's say a form it'll give you access to client-side objects that you can browse variables go and have a play or you can set field values just to see how things are going to work perhaps before you do a client script anyway go and have a play and try and incorporate into your service now development toolkit so you've got something else up your belt just in case you need it
