[Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house it's time for servicenow store highlights the April 14 2023 Edition I almost said February I don't know where that came from but that's SSH 0414 2023 let's get started here we have got quite a few to cover there were 134 new or updated applications in the servicenow store this time you can see them right there at the top 134 applications uh four of those were new releases 36 highlights that I'm going to run through six compatibility updates that we'll take a look at 86 fixes um servicenow went to town on the spokes uh there was a bunch of performance fixes and um and then a bunch of little small things so lots and lots of service now fixes and then we've got two only two release notes fails that's not so bad so let's get started let's take a look at those release notes fails and see what we've got there one of them is service now miles uh now viz gauge that's actually part of the data visualization core application which is our other release notes fail you're going to see that most of the data visualization components are make up that 70 or 86 that you see up here these fixes most of those were fixes around a single scored making it perform better or something like that so the reason these are release notes fails is because they didn't have any release notes so I couldn't confirm it was the same thing but that's what's going on there so that's the release notes fails let's take a look at the compatibility updates there were a few of those you see them there in the middle clear sky tower glance canada.vm Microsoft OneDrive spoke for Document Services puppet spoke and service graph connector for sap plant maintenance all got updated to be compatible with either one of two releases Tokyo and or Utah so some of them were just getting up to date with Tokyo and others were getting up to date with Utah so if you are using one of these folks and you're looking to upgrade you may want to go check out one of those and see what they're compatible with next we'll take a look at the gobs and gobs of fixes you can see them there and what these are are there components under the data visualization core application for servicenow that was the one that was in the release notes fail but all these had a comment or note that I could tell they were just minor fixes so there's the rest of them on top there of that number 86 and then start all the servicenow spokes now most of these folks were something like performance better performance thick so it's like that I'll open one up so you can see it they weren't a big deal it wasn't a lot going on improved installation performance so great for someone who hasn't installed one of these if you've got it installed that's probably not going to help you out at all but that's all the servicenows books here I'll just scroll through those and make sure I don't miss anything from another company yeah that's all serviced now service now servicenow 26 more here on the end this is I know this is 61 to 80. okay more visualizations more servicenow okay dxc technology BV service connector had a small fix rmis Inc service graph connector for armis how to fix Palo Alto service graph connector for expanse how to fix and yonsa Labs LLC simple data separation had a small fix in this since our last episode in addition to all the servicenow stuff you're seeing there let's take a look at the last look at the last six here we got more data visualization components the utility actions workday learning and Workforce optimization configurable workspace UI components so servicenow has been really really busy fixing their applications in the servicenow store so thank you for that now since we got through all those let's take a look at the new releases we had four of them this week they are at Ice Flow service graph connector for run zero support services and rangu supply chain risk let's take a look at each one of those on the servicenow store so here's the ux component custom components to support runbook management application by iceflow limited key features the application container now experience custom components to support a runbook management solution includes data set and data card for display of RBM data let's take a look at some screenshots of what the heck they're talking about there's a data data center migration event looks like an overview there and a bunch of looks like tasks down below because I'm seeing a breakdown structure and short description and duration like that start date and end date there is an event an event timeline an instance summary and a run book management so you got planned events plan changes run books for your attention and back to the data center my creation event okay so that's the new one from Ice Flow limited let's take a look at the next app that service graph connector for run zero import run zero assets into the servicenow cmdb key features exactly what I just said so let's take a look at the screenshot there is the setup or the guided setup uh for this service graph connector and there is more guided setup for this service graphs connector so there's taking screenshots of the guided setup and then here are the things that you have to do in order to set up so select cmdb classes to map Source data and you work through that guided setup to get that done let's see what else we've got some configuration items screenshot there and cmdb Integrations dashboard showing that we've used the assets you imported I guess from run zero and then we're back to the the guided setup so if that's what's new from run zero Inc next app it's going to be Support Services by ap3 applications limited plan and manager entire internal work request process in a single application key features are a collaboration through the portal or via email skill skills Matrix utilize assignment assistant split complex request checklist email notifications of privacy function activity tracker user dashboards and management dashboards so quite a robust app it sounds like there let's take a look at the screenshots there's an overview page of the support services workflow we can see some secretarial support requests let's go next here there's the secretarial services management dashboard open and close request backlog delivery outcomes nice information there there's a record for a secretarial support request we can see the details and the activity log and I think I had one more there I clicked too soon let's take a look at that fourth one nope we got a couple more on hold reason putting an on hold reason when it's on hold until and then there's an assignment recommendation about who to actually assign it to based on current workload um let's see skills managers I've seen the different skills of the secretarial services and please enter a reason for being unavailable to put yourself unavailable to fulfill requests and yeah back to the dashboard so pretty robust application there coming to us from ap3 application it's a limited next on the list is going to be rangu supply chain risk I clicked on the wrong link let's go to the store instead help businesses with regulation processed as a drive efficiency within the organization key features to gain visibility and supply chain identify and assess risks on a regular basis and assess suppliers regularly assign measures to mitigate risks there is a video if you want to go watch that but that is the new app from rangu BV the rangu supply chain risk application so that is all of our new releases let me go back to my episode summary there there you have them all four of them new for this particular episode of SSH and that leaves us with the 36 highlights to move through we're going to run through those first one is is from one of our new applications Ice Flow limited let's take a look at what's going on with this one this is the RBM custom components version 1.4.0 release includes grid column filtering and improved grid copy move handling up next on the list is the Big Fix inventory spoke to version 1.5.3 added localization support support to the spoke next is going to be the com plugin for application life cycle management version 1.6.0 nutanix com customers using servicenow version 1.6.0 release includes custom logos for catalog items you can now upload custom logo from Marketplace items and unpublished blueprints and run books while creating the catalog item the uploaded logos will also be available as icons in the catalogs and service portal next is going to be Cisco ACI orchestration version 1.2.0 added support for using apic cluster configuration information as authentication credentials next the data loss prevention incident response application version 1.1.8 introducing the ddlp analyst read role enl digest enhancements for end user template end user lookup and assignment rules reapply and introducing the DLP read role analysts can now modify severity State and end user Fields next it's going to be delphix version 4.0.0 lots of updates on this one access scoping process or property scoping improved catalog item output details updated some catalog items flows and subflows some actions and a table the user table used to map the relationship between a servicenow and a DCT user so really good release notes on there I didn't read through them all but if you're one interested in upgrading that now you know what you're getting into thank you delphix next it's going to be the devops config policy content pack to version 1.4.0 the following policies were added Docker image registry validator format validator Docker Network validator generic list validator memory limit validator same key value unique key value and detect unused variables fix some performance improvements and Bug fixes and change the variables are now excluded when validating the configuration data next on the list is also or is from the DLP incident response integration with Symantec to version 1.0.12 new one here Symantec API request customization make Symantec status mapping non-mandatory make incident comments sync configurable for Symantec fix for 500 errors using jsash and ID authentication and fix the DLP profile gets stuck if there is a failure in midscripts up next is going to be our Intrust certificate manager to version 2.5.0 and in this release when the certificate owner is not found in servicenow the field I believe that means field is empty OU field is present only in private type of certificate application compatible with Tokyo release workflow step modified when there is no user with that bunch of underscores and words set in servicenow request for certificate will fail alright so that's what's new from the Intrust certificate manager up next on our list is going to be F5 big-ip spoke this one has it's a minor release includes an authentication template which helps in setting up the spoke easily from flow designer and also includes deduplication changes so it wasn't one of the minor fixes that I was talking about earlier so this book had a little bit more words in there about what's going on next kubernetes spoke I'm sure it's probably similar uh new authentication template improved installation performance of the spoke next major security Incident Management to version 2.1.4 enhance the support enhanced to support this application on the security incident response workspace you're going to see that for a few of them here around major security incident let's check out the next one misp integration for security operations again support for the security incident response workspace office templature this is from convejo Portugal Uno peso Al I totally messed up that word but 2.3.0 enhancement PDF file generation based on word templates Dynamic charts generation for word and PowerPoint templates video export for PowerPoint templates field tag designer improved HTML generation for word templates template generation agent workspace they've got some fixes in there too around the UI or user experience in the office template configuration and the HTML generation for word and PowerPoint templates and some demo data templates for word and PowerPoint with examples of charts generation next on our list is going to be order management for Telecom media and Tech to version 4.0.1 fixed attribute mapping characteristic update is now if not persisted if product inventory has characteristic value populated state is reverting back from qualified to draft and remove the cycling dependency of workspace in orm Utah release remove the dependency mentioned in the workspace next on the list is from PDF Bird that's version 1.1.1 added a mechanism for dynamically used labels and templates language support with content translation ensured compatibility with the current service now release and I think I need to stop there yeah everything else is a repeat from the last update which was February 16th you can see it there it kind of repeats that a bit there so the first two bullets are what are important on this particular release the mechanism for dynamically used labels and templates and language support for Content translations all right next on our list is going to be planned Work Management looks like that's from servicenow to version 1.2.3 fix the honor product model value to filter work plan records create correct number of schedule occurrences for based on configured value update install based information on work orders retain the current correct install base table on work plan and proper creation of dependent schedules next also from servicenow The Playbook experience to version 23.1.4 fixed Playbook custom layouts I'm not going to read all of these but you can see that's not a small fix so this is a patch release added and updated some functionality made some corrections adjusted to some accessibility things into minor visual changes so pretty big patch there on the Playbook experience from servicenow that likewise the components for that also got upgraded to the same release notes there for the Playbook experience components scenario planning for PPM got an update to version 2.3.1 they added a report view ACLS for all scenario tables and fixed the rank changes in draft scenario should not update the confirmed scenario ranking and the Order of Rank by score let's go to the next page we've got 16 more of these security case management this is going to be one where they've updated it for the security incident response workspace I think the next one's going to be the same for security incident response we'll just click to make sure yep updated for the security incident response workspace and I'm just not going to click on the other two because I know they're the same thing but security incident response integration and then security incident response workspace actually let me click on that one because that might actually have a little bit more detail yeah here we go obtains the security incident response workspace to support standard record Pages fixed in Tokyo or later instances compose email Forum does not load Playbook menu item not visible on the home page when you click a widget with more records navigate the last page and click the widget with a few records and an error message that rows were removed from this list by security constraints is displayed uh security incident response workspace displays two escalate buttons and the action is not working and performance for loading of security incidents taking a long time so if you're using the security instant response workspace you may want to look at this update lots and lots of fixes and changes in this one all right the service graph connector for crowdstrike got an update to version 1.0.a to include device last scene timestamp and the custom crowdstrike devices or on the custom and crowdstrike devices table next on the list is going to be synac vulnerability response to version 1.1.1 improved logging and discovered items based CI mapping approach next tenable for assets got updated to version 5 servicenow OT certified additional otci classes added and repaired issue where otcis were not importing to the correct class next on the list threat intelligence I believe this is another update to the security to support the security incident response workspace threat intelligence support Commons same thing toughen orchestration Suite that is to version 1.0.3 updated to include ID of created ticket and output next Twitter spoke to the Twitter API still work I don't know leave me a comment down below that got updated to version 1.2.0 new authentication template for easier spoke setup so it must be working if they got the authentication template working and then fixed improved insulation performance like we saw with the rest of them there and a kmf error in tweet action uh next VMware workspace one itsm connector to version three um and this one they I believe I included this oh it actually is valid okay so um accelerate troubleshooting of support issues with access to device details I don't know why this font looks blurry to me uh device details application profile and certificate management through workspace one all within the servicenow incident and then you can see the rest of the stuff you're able to do there so if you're using this VMware workspace 1 itsm application this is a major release they're calling it two version three so you may want to go check that one out and see if you want to update next is going to be vulnerability response integration with armis version 1.0.1 add a new columns to the RMS detections import and armis vulnerability entries import and updated formatting of unique identifier for vulnerability detections from system generated to RMS device ID vulnerability ID so a little minor release there from the armist team next is going to be the Wiz integration for security operations got upgraded to version 2.0.1 new features and fixes added filters capability added incremental processing add a parameter severity for vulnerability vendor severity is now available on vulnerable item table for Wiz records populated Cloud region account and Source ID fields and support for Utah next on the list work scheduler for Workforce optimization to version 2.0.2 fix the following issues UTC time zone users we're unable to view the shift calendar that's funny a whole time zone couldn't use the shift calendar active span not resizing and display of empty work queue last on our release list of highlights is zoom in to version 7.2.0 surfacing specific knowledge knowledge bases only in the zoom in case deflection case deflection yeah knowledge IDs in case deflection so that's what's new from zoom in and that is our list of highlights let's recap real quick we took a look at 134 applications
