foreign [Music] it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house that's Justin's house in this video I want to talk to you about a new Utah feature called visualize visualization export within the platform analytics workspace you can see it right here in my database we've got visualization export and the ability to export to PNG PDF or jpeg from the visualization designer there's some stuff there about pivot tables but not too important what I want to first show you is if you've been using service now for a minute you've probably seen that you can go to a report in the classic uh reporting application which I love and if you hover over it you get these three little bars that show up um to the upper right of whatever graphic you have in the middle right don't forget we can have all kinds of charts and service now you can see there on the right hand side but when you hover over and click that you can save this as a PNG or a JPEG file and then if you wanted to export it to a PDF you went up here to export to PDF so it looks like that's what they've replicated in the platform analytics workspace when you're looking at a data visualization now I created one here for projects by business unit you can see my nice visualization and I don't have the hover capability that you just saw in the previous one but I do have the vertical Ellipsis here in the upper right hand corner which I can click on and go to an export modal that's going to pop up in the workspace now this looks a lot different and this is the new feature the ability to export to a PDF specify the page format and the orientation of the graphic that you're doing so I could go letter A4 A3 um I think these are like I just know letter and then the portrait or landscape for those I can download it or send a file so let's just take a look at each one of those here we'll do export or download a file we're going to do PDF first for this particular visualization here I have for projects by business unit exports complete so we're going to hit the download button open that PDF and there you get a nice visual of now I didn't do a great job of setting up this pie graph obviously there's no numbers or anything that are showing there so let's fix that real quick and make that look a little bit better we have the count on projects and it's just not showing on the actual thing so let's just look at our data labels we will show data labels it that's a lot better so let's go ahead and save that work and now instead of a PDF let's do something else let's do a JPEG or a PNG here's PNG we'll keep we'll just change this to A4 just to see we'll switch to landscape and go ahead and download that one so we can see some different settings with a different export type this time being when I choose PNG instead of a JPEG let's go ahead and download that there's that PNG file and there's what it looks like so now I've got a picture I can go plop this into a PowerPoint or do something else with it let's just do one more here let's do that JPEG file see if that looks any different we'll keep we'll do A3 since we haven't done that one yet and we'll keep this one portrait we'll hit export and then that will go ahead and let us download that particular JPEG file to see this particular pie chart in that JPEG file so I hit download and it's showing up just behind my head there you can't see it and there's the jpeg file in A3 portrait mode and there's my projects by business unit so that's the new feature in Utah to be able to export your data visualizations getting some feature parity with the out of the box reporting module I hope you found this video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share with somebody who you think might be interested in exporting their data visualizations in servicenow and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Music] foreign [Music]
