foreign [Music] we'll see how the servicenow platform empowers field technician Alyssa chenoy to create inventory transfers while out in the field through her mobile device she's able to reach out to Teddy Taylor a peer technician to find and obtain the parts that she needs now let's see this in action here Alyssa chenoy realizes that she's missing parts for a work order with Tokyo Alyssa can quickly create a request from multiple Parts directly from the mobile app every employee has a personal stock room to indicate which parts they're currently in possession of Alyssa selects her stockroom as a destination for the requested parts she then begins to add the parts to the request list she adds the first part and adjusts the quantity to two once complete she then adds the second part and we now see that reflected on the parse request she Taps fine all to see where those parts may be available the search results show that Teddy Taylor has the parts she needs and she begins to initiate a request from him Teddy receives a part request notification here he can look into the details of the part request through the requests the hardware models are pre-selected but Teddy can adjust the assets if needed Teddy is in the process of installing unit001 so he swaps it out for unit 0013 being able to adjust the parts request ensures that inventory data remains clean and accurate once updated he accepts the parts requests and the transfer orders created Alyssa sees the update back on her mobile device and she heads over to meet Teddy to pick up the parts once she has them she confirms pickup for all the parts she requested once the pickup is confirmed she can go to her inventory and see the changes reflected back on her stockroom this ability to request parts from Piers allows a listen Teddy to quickly adjust inventory in real time while out in the field this minimizes any rescheduling of truck rolls as she was able to successfully complete the work on her first visit
