[Music] thank you hi my name is Pedro Romero and I'm a solution consultant here at servicenow and today I'm excited to talk about a new feature coming out with our Utah release surrounding overall feature adoption for servicenow software Asset Management really making sure we're maximizing value from all the tools that we have available within software Asset Management before we jump in and look at anything we do have a safe harbor notice here this is more so for our legal team but we might have some forward-looking statements so feel free to pause us and read this if you need to but with that let's go ahead and jump right in so with software Asset Management our goal here at our company is really to deliver Cutting Edge Solutions as frequently as possible but with our pace of innovation we also want to make sure it's incredibly easy for our users and our customers to stay on top of what features have come out in making sure you can easily measure how effectively you're implementing these new tools so with our Utah release we're excited to announce our software Asset Management value Builder this feature allows our software asset managers to identify and prioritize the features and capabilities that they might not be using all with ways to track your progress to ensure you're taking those necessary steps to maximize value from servicenow with that let's jump right into a demo and take a look so our Sam value Builder is now going to be under our success portal within the software asset workspace so right now we're on our landing page for the software asset workspace looking at our overview dashboard but if we go to the left here we can find Our Success portal and then we now have this new tab for our value Builder what the system is doing here is providing you feedback on the features that you haven't enabled all through a scheduled job that's running in the background that's reconciling your feature adoption and then presenting you with the insights and the widgets to tell you where you can go out and do more with servicenow so for example here in the left if we had any apps or plugins that we hadn't enabled for software Asset Management the system will point that out for you that way you can go out and make sure you get those installed we also have publisher pack utilization so if you're aware with our publisher backs what they do is they drive more accurate compliance position calculations for your top Publishers like Microsoft or adobe that have more complex licensing structures really really valuable for your same practice and now we're giving you those insights on how many of the publisher packs you aren't taking advantage of and get in giving you ways to create tasks to go out and Implement those publisher paths the same thing goes for usage under management so in this case what we're doing is we're finding areas where you have software usage captured within our system but no Associated entitlement and vice versa maybe we have an entitlement but we don't have an Associated installer usage record for us to tie that to so with that we can drill in and for example we can find that power bi has usage found but we don't have an entitlement and so from here we can actually go in and create a value Builder task that way we can get someone from my team to go out and make sure we have the entitlement created for power bi and then notice as we created this task we even have some information or instructions that come directly from the task based on what we're trying to accomplish jumping back into the value Builder we also have ways to present you new updates that have come out with any releases that way you can stay on top of all the new functionality and then again create tasks to make sure that we're going out and adopting those and then as far as tasks go up here in the top right you have a widget here that's telling you the statuses for all your tasks that way you can see how many we've gotten brand new or recommended from the system how many are in progress or how many we've gone now and actually completed or adopted overall our sand managers will now always have a pulse on our sand practice just through software asset workspace in general but they can continue to drive and track improvements to get more out of service now with our value Builders shown here with that said that's all I had for today hopefully you guys got excited for this feature and I hope it can drive progress for your organization last thing here before I let you guys go please continue to check out the features that come out with Utah again my name is Pedro Romero and it was my pleasure to walk through the Sam value Builder thank you so much
