foreign [Music] it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house that's Justin's house in this video I want to talk to you about the portal next experience theme it is a new application from the store with Utah it looks like it's just compatible with Utah and what it brings us is a next experience theme for customer support customer service and the knowledge portals within servicenow and I want to be really clear this isn't the next experience for your customer service portal or your customer service uh consumer uh CSP I think that's supposed to be consumer service CSP I believe we'll double check here when we get in the demo but it's not the next experience it's the theme of the next experience let me show you what I mean so let's take a look at not documentation that I was looking at earlier let's take a look at the customer service portal this is customer service management you've probably seen this before this is the look and feel we'll hop into knowledge and you can see kind of what it looks like and now what I'm going to do after I pull up the knowledge base article is we're going to hop into the back end in this video and we're going going to flip this to the new theme so you can see what the difference is let's go over there we're going to look for customer support I did have to install that store application for the next portal experience theme or portal next experience theme sorry I had that backwards but let's just look through our themes here and because we're on CSM I do have this option for the portal next experience theme right there I'll go ahead and click it and we'll do our update button or save and that will flip our portal that we just looked at to the next experience theme so I'll hit refresh and you're going to see what that new theme looks like and it does look like what we've come to know in the back end of service now as the next experience it's got those Blues it's got those colors it's got that kind of modern fonting I think latto lato lato is the font style that they're using here and if I go do the same thing will hop into knowledge take a look at the customer service knowledge base open up a knowledge article so you can see what that looks like and that's what they mean by next or portal next experience theme say that 10 times fast let's go over to get help take a look at that form there's the catalogs we can create a case create a case for a product create a customer case and see what the actual form layout looks like so again it's got that new look and feel but it's still the same portal it's still the same thing that we've been using for years it's just got a new theme a new skin on it if you will so you did see on the store that this applies to customer support and customer service and knowledge I'm just going to pull up one more so we could take a look at it let's go to CSP and see what that looks like I think this is going to look almost exactly the same as the customer service management one yeah but we've got really cool I love this a really cool logo here uh flying space people with jets under their shoes and Harry Potter wands maybe that's Harry Potter wands but anyways I love the picture servicenow thank you for the pictures customer service we're always here to help so it does look and feel a little bit different I got some most read articles we'll go ahead and click on one of those articles and I don't have permission to view that knowledge item so um that always happens to me in the demo I excuse something up but won't hop in the same way into the consumer service port I thought this was consumer so cleaning the water inlet filters consumer service and I don't have permission so that's okay that's a demo fail but it's not a big deal you're getting the idea here of what this theme is in both the customer support portal and the consumer service portal and that's new with Utah you will need to install the store application change the theme and don't forget the customer support portal and consumer service portal they move to the store with the Utah release so they're no longer plugins on the back end of service now they are available through the store and they're available in your PDI yes that's right I'm in my PDI and I was able to get those installed apply the theme and record this video I hope you found this video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share it with somebody who you think might be interested and what's new in customer service what's new in Utah for servicenow and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Music] thanks [Music] [Applause] [Music]
