Import · Dec 15, 2022 · video

[Music] hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house that's Justin's house in this video I'm introducing certified Master architect Allison Shirey and her reaction to my catalog item that is integrated with Dolly 2 and gpt3 I hope you enjoy your Allison Shirey we work together at crossviews and I'm looking for your reaction to an integration with openai it's an artificial intelligence platform and Allison you've never seen this before you've never logged into my PDI before or seen this right right okay so I'll walk you through it and then when you click on that big huge logo that's sitting there on the right that's the open AI logo and this is a catalog item that started off as you're going to request an image from the open AI so let's go ahead and click on it it'll have some instructions about appropriate image requests right so I Justin actually agreed that I wouldn't do anything violent or self-harm or shocking or legal when I'm using this API because it's you know open it's an open API but I don't definitely don't want to abuse the privilege to use it and I'll let you read as much as you want but the idea is you're going to ask this to generate anything any image you can conjure in your mind and when you do that I want you to think about two things like at the subject of the image like what's in the middle of the image or what's part of the image then you can see there there's a dog and some people have done other animals and then where is that at like think about a painting or something more bigger the context of what that is and maybe you want to do something goofy like this one has the dog wearing a beret and a turtleneck but you know you can your imagination can run wild and the idea is we want to see what we get can it be specific to like a character or does it have to be like I think you can I think that'll be a good test because I haven't done a specific character yet okay anything I want anything you want as long as you don't do anything in those bullets yeah um okay I'll think of the dog I'm not gonna confuse it but that's her dog's name I don't know you'd be surprised okay and I I changed I've left the options open for an image size if you go with the biggest that's just because there's some limitations on um how servicenow receives pictures so that's all that's going on there okay cool I'm glad you're excited if you go to the top the order now buttons up there and then when it goes to the next screen you know how you always get that link to the requested item click on the requested item and just wait there on the comments and uh you'll see all this happen in real time yes I am ready I'm excited I hope I hit record yes I did this one yep okay so it's retrieving it and it already got the image backed out just wait you only click on it let's see the whole thing coffee or a dog right there that is pretty cool that's amazing that looks like Paul Anka the dog and that kind of looks like her kind of I just don't know what she's holding I can't figure out what she's holding it's like a pile of snow or a dog's head and does she have a tail [Laughter] I don't know what the snow globe says but it got the snow globe part that's pretty cool I I'm and did you see there's something else there that I didn't tell you was going to be there if you close the image look what else went on the ticket I found the poem so I'm gonna like do this all day just by the way do you want to do one more I do now that you know yeah okay and while you're doing that I'll just like I'll share that basically what I did is it a cut two custom actions in flow designer that are a rest call and did a script step after the image one to parse the Json image and attach it to the ticket and then for the poem it's also a rest step in an action and then instead of the script stop it's a Json parsing step because it's not an image it's pretty simple and uh it passes the same description that says write a poem and then we put both of those back into the ticket all using a float designer what in the world did you type very specifically oh wow oh my God okay I want to know what poem it's gonna write I'm also amazed at how fast it is too because like you you think it would need time to like figure it out oh that's his feather boa I guess he should have said wrapped around his neck I guess instead he's just that's I know that that's I guess the Gamecock Stadium the right colors I think it's the wrong Sports number but I'll give it a valiant effort for knowing it was a football player but that's good now let's read this poem Oklahoma soon I got it that's why I didn't put Oklahoma Sooners in there oh that's like that's amazing that's kind of creepy oh you think I'm joking I'm literally gonna sit here and do this like all day there's a limitation on the API I um and yeah if you could do put two more that's fine and while you're doing I should explain anybody who can sign up for this API um I did I just registered and you get a certain amount of free tokens I think they call it and um and it's like a lot like you'd have to be sitting here doing a lot of images and stuff to to burn them all up um obviously I went through a lot as I was testing and um the the most difficult part believe it or not was getting the Json image and turning it into a file and attaching it to the ticket so I'm gonna make a future video on exactly that process because it seems like it should be straightforward but it actually involved a little bit of scripting to handle the payload because if you see when you're clicking on these images they're about three megabytes and there's some limitations when you're doing flow designer on how big complex objects can be specifically how big the strings can be so oh my gosh it's a honey badger and a bowler hat skateboarding it's everything you asked for and more and I got a poem about bodybuilders sorry this is really putting it through the ringer because you're thinking of stuff I haven't thought of okay I'm doing one more but I gotta think of what it is I think it's something like really obscure I thought honey badger was kind of um can I use you oh I'm actually so it might be it might have crawled me I don't know this will be crazy if it works I hope it that because that would mean it crawls YouTube or Facebook or some other celebrity named Justin Meadows oh my gosh oh my God Justin Meadows is but the poem like all on the lake Justin they thought your last name was a play the pucker spreads a moment of Joy before he dips his head okay all right serious question Allison you are a certified Master architect for servicenow I've just shown you something that's like out there crazy but can you see legitimate business purpose for like generating artwork or images or even text like this I mean I'm trying to think like even the past life we did it like a records retention thing so even if you were like retrieving it from an archive that already exists saying I need file X like I have oil and gas background so we had to have super like archive records retention rules and so to pull files out of the virtual filing cabinet this could even you think it can make an inspirational poster let's see so if you look at this well I don't know if I included all the suggestions that they give on their site but you can ask for it and like yeah still seeing that you can do it in the style of um like Van Gogh or inspirational like you said you just randomly thought of that huh my son loves sloths his toy is named dump truck but it's a sloth I thought I stumped it I thought hey what what language is that what I'm studying Wednesday since they're inspirational other than like the crap The Fear Factor elements into your nightmare this is what it looks like is he holding something maybe a speeding that would be hilarious I hope you found that video helpful or at least fun if you did please like Please Subscribe or share it with somebody who you think might be interested in generating random pictures and poems in service now and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Music] foreign [Music]
