[Music] foreign [Music] Knowledge Management has the capability to do a bulk translations here I'm going to select three knowledge articles and then request translations there are options here to select the languages that have already been set up I'm going to select German Japanese and French and press submit and then what you'll see up here at the top is that nine translation requests have occurred and you can click on that link and what it does is it shows you the projects that have been initiated along with the tasks for these projects we see that one has been completed and the rest are in progress if I go back to the knowledge article list I can now see that three have been translated and the rest are ready for translation and the reason for that is I had the French translation set up a little differently than the other two so let's go ahead and take a look at how that was set up and go into localization framework and settings and here you can see the two different translation methods that I had set up for French I set up the artifact for knowledge for French and we're doing a machine translation using IBM also here you see the workflow preferences if you click on the workflow there's many that have been set up I recommend Auto translation Auto publish and then you can also set uh project preferences here if I go back and take a look at the rest of the languages that were set up the translation preference there is to leverage a translation management system and here this site is set up to integrate with RWS the same Auto translate Auto publish preference has been selected for the TMS as well as the automated function so to summarize you have the capability to configure by language or Locale the way and the method in which these translations occur whether it's machine TMS whether you do an import or export or send to someone with an email
