[Music] customer portal Locale is a new feature in Tokyo that allows guest and authenticated users to quickly change the language and Locale of their portal pages they can easily go to the menu and select the language in Locale and now see content in their language of choice if we switch to an authenticated user in the past they would go to the profile select the language that they would like to use and then they would be able to see content and labels and information in that language of choice now with this release they have the flexibility to dynamically change the language that they're looking at each time they go to the portal here we see the portal in English but the authenticated user can quickly change that content to another language such as French also you can change to any of the other languages that have been pre-set up and defined for the portal the language and the locale there are several ways that the end user can select the language here we see one view where it's listed as a list next let's let's switch to the admin view where here you can see all the languages that are here in locales so for example we have French and we have French Canadian we have customers that have hundreds of locales and languages that are set up what I'd like to do now is show you how we can group these together in language regions so here regions are defined you can select a region and then group your language instead of that vertical list that we just saw we are now configuring the system to arrange the languages for it to be easier for the customer to find based on region I'm going to set up a couple more and now when I go to the portal I can see this nice view of where we have things grouped with customer portal Locale customers are able to view content in their language of choice
