foreign [Music] hello everyone my name is Manon and I am a technical consultant here at Glide fast today I will show you how to change the default fonts on the service portal it's a quick and efficient process which can be helpful when a client wants their custom fonts applied on the service portal instead of what came out of the box there are more than one ways of achieving this this is one of them so let's get started here's what the default service portal looks like your first step would be to download the needed fonts once you have the font handy you upload it to servicenow to upload the font on servicenow navigate to service portal portals and click on your portal click the information button next to the theme field and hit open record on the theme record we would use the paperclip icon to add our font as an attachment for the demo I have downloaded a Harry Potter themed font that we would use today next you need to get the sys ID of your font attachment navigate to CIS underscore attachment.list locate your fonts right click and hit copy sysid is ID as we would need this during our next steps back on the theme form scroll down and hit new Under the CSS includes related list let's name this Harry Potter CSS right-click the header and select save click the magnifying glass on the stylesheet field and click new we'll give this a name and hit save now all you need to do is adjust the CSS where you want the fonts changed for the purpose of the demo we will use a pre-written CSS block which should pretty much update the fonts on the whole portal you can name the font face whatever you like but don't forget to update the font face URL with the attachment sys ID that we copied earlier we'll save this one final time and make sure the style sheet is applied to our CSS include record and we are done let's navigate to our service portal and see how our changes look now looking magical a if your changes do not show up for some reason clear your instance cache and refresh your portal that was it for today thank you for watching please like and leave any questions in the comments down below and please don't forget to subscribe to Glide fast [Music]
