[Music] foreign [Music] it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to my house that's Justin's house in this video I'm going to cover some project workspace features that came out with Tokyo this is version two of project workspace there's a newer version version three which just came out at the beginning of November this will apply to version three as well but this also applies to version 2 in San Diego so even though I've got Tokyo on the thumbnail this does apply to San Diego as well I'm in my PDI my personal developer instance and I've got the project workspace up the first thing I want to show you is dark mode compatibility so if you were to go and change your preferences in the system to dark mode it does switch the project workspace now into dark mode so I have all the nice features you'd expect for um adding a task and doing things on the timeline and I got these nice I'll call them neon colors here for my ganttart on the actual project workspace my disappointment with this feature is you can see here when I actually open a task it's definitely not dark mode it's more high contrast mode but Still's got some dark stuff to it so not thrilled with that one but it is technically dark mode I guess so that'll work for now um the second thing let's go ahead and get out of dark mode for demo purposes dark mode is great for you personally when you're working but I found that when I'm recording a demo it's really hard to see things especially when you're watching a video on YouTube but the second thing that's new I've got uh multiple tasks here and let's say I wanted to change something about more than one so what I've done there is I've held my shift key down after clicking on the first one and then clicked on the last one and now when I right click I can edit all three of them I can copy all three of them I can indent all three of them so they become subtasks of that top task so that's something new in the project workspace that wasn't there before the last thing my head's going to be in the way on this one is the ability to search for things so before when we came in here you could type in an assignment group and we could pick the analysts but now we've got a search dialog that will pop up a search window where we can actually search and if you've watched some of my other videos we now have this ability to add a filter and actually search by different things so maybe we wanted to for some reason to look by cost center code and find the assignment groups that way we can do that I don't think that's realistic but you definitely can do that so we've got these search capabilities on the task form now over here on the right hand side when we're editing a task within the project workspace and if you haven't seen it already version 3 of the project workspace has rydac or risk issues decisions actions and changes so go check out the video I'll put a link up above so you can hop to that quickly I hope you found this video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share it with somebody you think might be interested in using project workspace in servicenow in Tokyo or San Diego for version two and until next time don't forget to always be learning foreign [Music]
