[Music] foreign [Music] it's Justin thank you for watching and welcome to Justin's house in this video I'm going to show you a new Tokyo feature where you can search your activity stream but I'm going to start in the old form View and in this case I'm showing you an incident if I scroll down here on my screen when I talk about activity stream I'm talking about these activities right here so in the old way of doing things if you wanted to come in and filter you could use this little filter and change the type of activities that are showing and if you wanted to search you'd have to do the little control F in your browser and search for something like Beth and you're going to find all the messages from Beth or the things that have the word Beth inside them so that was the way that what used to work was practical helpful workspaces came along in San Diego this is what you got it behind me here this is San Diego and our activity stream kind of moved to the center like front and center so you always had access to it even though you might be looking at details of the internet right so there it is still in the center and I can get to it now they left or they made sure it was there the ability to filter within the activity stream so we could have feature parity with the Legacy Forum there and I could come in and say hey I just want to see these post types or I want to see where these filters have changed or where they're flagged or I can have you know actual filter sets so a bit more functionality on the filtering when this moved into workspaces so here comes Tokyo and if this was a snake it would have bitched you you probably missed it what they added is right here this little search box and the search activity Stream box right there I'm just going to go ahead and draw a line around all of that it's not on by default so if you hit the magnifying glass it turns off if you hit the manifying glass again it turns on and of course if I wanted to come in here and search for Beth again it's going to show me all the activity stream that has the word Beth in it if I wanted to do VPN it would show me everything that has the word VPN in it and if I again this is actually an incident about email if I search for email it's going to show me all the things and the activity stream to have to do with the word email now I'm showing you this on an incident but this applies to cases this applies to tasks this applies to anything that you would have in a workspace where there is an activity stream for that particular record that you're looking at so as long as you have this widget on your workspace there should be a search button for you to use in order to search the activity stream that's it I hope you found this video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share it with somebody who you think might be interested in searching their activity stream within workspaces within servicenow's New Tokyo release and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Applause] thank you
