foreign I'm Andrew McDonald senior business process consultant at glyfast and today I wanted to cover the servicenow export to PowerPoint for strategic portfolio management add-in it's an add-in that allows you to export a status report for a project as a PowerPoint file so in order to do that let's start by installing the add-in what you'll do is just type in plugins and then once you get to the page just type in export to PowerPoint and then you'll see the option at the bottom then you just click on the install button and begin the installation once it's installed you'll go back to all and then type in PowerPoint and then you see the PowerPoint templates option at this point you'll see the PowerPoint templates that are available to you you can click on one to modify it changing the name or the report type for project status reports you'll obviously want to keep it as project status report but you can also download the default template and then edit it as needed so once you've edited that particular template you'll want to create a new template by clicking on the new button at the top right corner of the screen you'll give it a fancy name and then select the report type as project status report again you'll want to make sure that you select the PowerPoint template that you've just modified and then at that point click on submit so at this point now that you've downloaded or created a new Glide fast branded or your own branded PowerPoint report template what you'll do is go to the what you do is go to the navigation menu and then type in projects and then underneath the projects application you'll click on Project workspace at this point you'll select a project and then select the status report tab on the right hand side so now that you've selected the status report that you want to apply the template to You'll click on export to PPT select the status report date and then select a template then click on export at this point it'll allow you to download the status report in the PowerPoint and then once you open it up you'll see the updated branding on the status report you'll also see that the status report pulls in information automatically from servicenow in order to populate the status report so you don't have to build it yourself and that's it let me know if you have any questions otherwise thank you very much and have a great day [Music] thank you
