um Zoom there is a q a feature that you can use please post your questions there we have several team members that'll be helping to answer those questions with me please note that this session is being recorded and we will be sharing that link out as well as links to the slides after the session after the session ends there will be a survey so please complete that survey we'd love to hear your feedback about the sessions that we are presenting as we get started I want to introduce not only myself but my esteemed colleagues that I have here supporting me um so today as I mentioned we're talking about enhancing the manager experience with manager of my name is LaShonda Hart I am a an outbound product manager as part of our employee workflows team I'm joined by Christoph forger who is a senior manager for our inbound product management team um pratik is also part of our team critique bonsole a senior software engineer as well as I have kumara Swami Dara who is a staff software engineer so thanks to both critique and kumara for joining us late as well as our customers that may be um across the pond as well again we want to make this interactive but before we kick it off um we'd love to hear from you if you can mind posting this now do post this in chat um what challenges are your managers facing um as they're supporting their teams we'd love to hear from you and I'll like I'd love to read some of those out um as you post those so please put these responses in the chat what challenges are your managers facing or what have you heard from your your managers that are supporting various teams we know that um people are are working in this hybrid this kind of hybrid um world where some employees are remote some are in an office I see Douglas you said visibility is one what are some of the other challenges that you've heard or seen or witnessed from your managers when it comes to supporting their teams and no worries we're gonna we're gonna definitely talk about what we've heard from from some of our customers out there but please feel free to post those out in the chat okay again as we go throughout the session let's please make it interactive and put your questions in the Q a um and then please hold um out for our survey at the end of the session um but with that Krista I'll turn it over to you to well actually I'm sorry let me start with the agenda let's just let everyone know what we're going to talk about um so it's part of this enhancing the manager experience we're going to kick off and talk about the importance of the manager role and I've invited my esteemed colleague Krista to talk about that um you know what did we hear from customers why did we build um the manager hub will then go through and I'll give a demo of manager Hub taking you through um all of the great features that we that we've built out we'll then also talk about um the manager quick facts so what do manager have quick facts what do you need to actually install manager hub from our store I'm sorry in addition to the overview we'll tell you about manager Hub and then we'll go through an actual demo we also have resource links included in the PowerPoint as well and we'll be posting those out there for you and thanks to Jeff for sending managers tend to be time poor loved the way that you said that so they need to clearly see priorities and be able to action them quickly and easily exactly Jeff that's exactly what we've heard and seen as well so with that Krista I will turn it now over to you thank you LaShonda and hi everyone so glad to have you all here um so before we dive into the manager Hub solution itself and walk you through all of those the features and the benefits there I wanted to just set some context on on why we even focused on this right and so you know over the past few years we've been hearing more and more about you know the crunch that managers are under we've had major shifts with great resignation kind of coveted and post cover driving us to more and more hybrid and remote work um and and this is just kind of accelerating things that have been going on for years with more and more Automation and digitization of our employee experiences and and the way that work gets done um in our organizations and now you know more Generations are in the workplace at once which creates a lot of a lot of the nuances and challenges right um so that's that's just a shift in the world right and that has led to a lot of very overwhelmed managers uh as Jeff mentioned right telling time poor time is one of the number one challenges we hear um that managers have to to to deal with and and they they get bogged down in a lot of processes as you know as the organization of streamline processes that has put more and more on the on the shoulders of managers and they have a lot of tools at their disposal however they're all in you know different tools doing different things and and they aren't necessarily talking to each other um and and that's LED also to a lack of confidence to develop employees from what we've heard as well and um when a manager is is maybe feeling overwhelmed or not feeling confident to develop employees that can have an impact on employees themselves and so when we think about Employee Engagement and the employee experience itself managers are going to have one of the biggest impacts on the day-to-day experience of employees so you know if employees aren't feeling valued that can lead to resignation um if if a manager is engaged or not that's going to have a really big impact on whether their team is engaged um and making sure that employees can grow is really important um uh but a manager being able to coach their employees is one of the one of the primary methods that employees learn from so we just know that managers are important and they needed help and you know one way that we're trying to start helping and and even preparing for additional shifts to come as as this trend continues is through manager Hub so this is one one solution we see is being able to help some of those pieces um come together um and manager Hub is really a completely purpose-built solution just for people leaders within our employee Center experience within our servicenow experience for employees um and the purpose is really to help them stay engaged and support their team and take off some of those burdens as much as we can um we'll be walking through some of the features but at a high level right if they have Journeys for team transitions if they have requests and an upcoming date based events happening on their team they can get a better visibility into that um they can also get more visibility into the communications that their organization is sending that are specific to leaders and more personalized content there and to really understand you know where should I focus my attention if I have so little time what's most important for me to act on now and how do I act on it quickly how do I how do I see that it's a priority and take that action quickly that's a that's a an important um important uh feature that we want to highlight there and then just consolidating some manager specific resources having a place to start to know what resources are available um as a manager so with that um I'll go ahead and just walk you through some of the the more the more um the more detailed uh information on manager hub so the first thing uh very important for manager Hub is we really want to help relieve some of that pressure on managers um so you know being able to really clearly say hey here's something we think might be a priority and here's an action you can take quickly having that in one starting place so we consolidate a lot of um information and actions from across the Enterprise from you know daily stats and and knowing where your team's working Journeys that might need attention tasks and approvals that a manager has assigned to them for their team we'll be going through this in more detail in the demo but really the whole point here is from from the first start in manager Hub help you know where do I focus now and how do I quickly take action on it so that is in the the overview section of manager Hub but if a manager really needs to drill into more information about the individual team members um we really want to help improve visibility into that those those team members as individuals so understanding one individual's current needs so you know did they need um your attention to help them get unblocked is there are there specific needs requests events um help that they're trying to ask for from different organizations or that they need your approval on um maybe there's some common actions that you take again and again for individuals or the team as a whole so having those handy um in one place that you can quickly take for for a particular user um and you know something that we'll also demo to is being able to just view knowledge as an employee when you're distributed across the globe if you're a manager in one region your employees in another region being able to understand the policies that they see as them um and and really important to highlight here too is is that this is all very data driven and very configurable so this is going to help an organization adapt to the changing Dynamics that's going to help a manager adapt as well so this isn't just static content right this is this is data that you have in employee Center Pro and in servicenow um kind of filtering in and prioritizing what's on top so managers know what's happening now um they can prioritize that and you can change what what information they show if you know something changes in your organization or the World At Large that they need to be paying more attention to than what they used to so you know we we start with at a high level with that overview tab um and then we kind of help managers drill into the individual team needs under that your team tab um and then kind of pushing forward there's um the manager Library that's really about um managers getting the resources they need uh for themselves so LaShonda if you feel like pushing forward to to the next slide we'll talk about the manager Library as well and and this is really about enabling leaders to help uh the team but as well as themselves right we want to make sure managers can continue to grow and become leaders um whether that's finding resources they need for their team or for their own kind of growth as a leader so here um we'll we provide a centralized place to start finding more curated personalized um content that could be announcements about things that are you know maybe coming up in the months ahead um maybe just personalized uh content or resources or announcements that help you segment a little bit further within your manager audiences um and and even just having a Consolidated view of common requests and helpful resources knowing what tools are available to managers um so we can kind of help leaders you know understand what even is available to them whether they need to come back and look for the same thing easily or they didn't know something was there so this is a place where you can really curate The Experience um to surface the information you have across your organization whether it's um within servicenow whether it's within other tools and you just want to provide a kind of a handy contextual uh way to discover it so um with that you know really just kind of the main takeaway here and the reason that we invested in manager Hub is uh we know that when managers are able to do their job well they make a better employee experience for their whole team we want to help give managers more time to focus we want to free them up so that they can invest in leading their team and and adapting as the company needs change so that they can always you know stay flexible stay adaptable and stay informed so that they can really help their team help themselves um I don't want to spend too much time on the PowerPoint so uh I think we'll let LaShonda take us through a demo so we can actually show you it uh live and um you know we'll we'll go ahead and keep an eye on that q a section and and address any questions and we'll try to show you manager experience and some other uh nuts and bolts so let us know any questions as we go and uh we'll be keeping an eye on that q a absolutely thank you so much Krista and I didn't do it justice when I introduced both um when I introduced uh Krista um pratik and kumara they they are the the Wizards behind the scene that did all this lovely work that you're gonna see today so let me share my screen here let me bear with me for a moment I'm gonna stop and bring the other screen over and as I'm glad to see that we're already getting some great comments uh in not only getting comments as well as questions that are coming through the Q a so here we go so hopefully now Christo you'll be my test can you see my screen here where I have um where I'm logged in to employee Center excellent so as Krista mentioned um employee Center pardon me manager Hub is actually built um using or on top of employee center it's embedded within what we call employee Center Pro so I'm currently logged in as Maria Davies who is a global people leader um for various team members um throughout the globe when she locked into employee Center Pro she has access to a unified experience right it's a personalized experience that's um showing her content that's personalized to her it still has all of the great features of course where she can use the great AI search to be able to go in and search for anything um across across the various departments but as I mentioned manager Hub is embedded in within employee Center Pro as Krista mentioned manager Hub consists of three primary tabs um out of the box I should say these are all configurable so if you want to change the names if you want to add a tab you can absolutely do that but but what we're showing today of course is the art of the possible and what we've um what we've configured here from a demo demo perspective so Maria being a global manager the first thing she sees when she comes in that is that the system is welcoming her again we have that personalization because she manages a global team she has the ability to see the various time zones that her team members are are um located so what is really important she can be conscientious when she's um scheduling meetings and setting up calls as part of manager Hub one of the other great features that helps the manager to help Drive help Drive focus and what they need to work on you can also um if you're using our Journeys solution where which are those cross-departmental um as well as um depart cross-departmental workflows she can have visibility into what those are and what the statuses of those are so again as Krista mentioned if they're blockers out there for her team she can remove those those roadblocks you'll notice here that she has Journeys that need attention so it's letting her know some are at risk she has maybe some that are in draft status as well as some that are right on track again she can drive um helps to drive her focus on what she needs to do for now I won't drill into that but you'll see here for Nick Newman her new hire she has two tasks that are um that are overdue so she can drill in to get more information the next section that helps to draw Maria's time and um her attention and focus are these three very sections starting with your management task this is using the um to Do's um that are a part of employee Center or part of the platform I should say and it's showing Maria all of the tasks and approvals that need her attention you'll notice that there are um it gives her details here something that's due today she needs to actually submit a leave certification she has an approval request and then there are others that are coming up in the next day or so so again it helps to drive her focus on what needs to be um completed right now and things that she can plan for later this can also be configurable based on what um what to do's and tasks you want to um display here the next section is upcoming team events this lets Maria know what's going on with her team she has folks that are having upcoming birthdays she has and work anniversaries she has folks that are going out on leave of absence or maybe PTO again it just allows her to um be in tune with what's going on with her team and being proactive if um if there's something that she needs um to help the team with and again this can be this is also configurable the last section here is request opened by your team so these again a big part of um our the servicenow value proposition is that we help with all of those cross-departmental workflows and those tasks um so if she has employees that are submitting a request or maybe someone that's um needing um Hardware software or um you know maybe they submitted a request for um for Adobe as an example for software she can actually see that and again these could be things that are just informational only or they can be things that require her to take action so that's pretty much the overview tab there are also some um obviously we're using the content delivery in the content experiences that are a part of employee Center Pro so we're actually showing Maria things that are important to her um as far as different campaigns and and things that she needs to be aware of but I'll come I'll talk about that more um in a moment but that's the overview tab again just to give her that high level overview the next section is your team so again this is um configurable but this allows Maria to really get into seeing more granular details about her team and take additional action the first thing you'll notice is that she has the metrics um a little box here that's giving her metrics on her team she can see that she has employees on Journeys employees that are onboarding those that are out on PTO or on a leave of absence but again this is where she can really start to drill in and get additional information we have sort features where she can actually sort um pardon me a sort by where she can sort by those things that need her attention again we want to be able to maximize the employees um the manager's time we understand that they are busy so we want to highlight those things that need their attention so she can simply um do sort by that and you'll notice that on the right hand side there's little alerts here that lets her know things that need her help I'll come back to that here in a moment um some additional things that Maria can do is she can actually also I'll just go back to A to Z she can also look at skip level reports so again manager Hub is for a manager managing their direct reports but we also have one skip level available um out of the box as well so in this instance she's she has a manager Beatrice Hill who is actually reporting into her um and Beatrice pardon me has five additional direct reports so Maria can actually look at those additional um the details for those employees okay I'll toggle that back off um the additional things that I um wanted to share is that with manager Hub it is absolutely configurable so notice I have the various filters I can filter by various Journeys if you're utilizing our Journeys um solution I can search by employee type so being able to quickly see my employees that are contractors or part-time or full-time I can also sort by location or status so these additional columns that you see here the the column features of I mean pardon me this the column headings um status location the active Journey that the employees are on this can be configured to have information that's most important and relevant for you for your management team okay so a few things that Maria wants to do as I mentioned earlier she can focus on those things that need attention so in this case she has Nick Newman new a full-time employee that's going through that's a new hire he's going through the um onboarding um process and as she looks at those things that need that needs his help she can see that there are seven seven things that need his help and she can go and drill into that to see what those tasks um and activities are that need her attention again some several of these are displayed on the um the management task to do to do filter on the overview page as well but here she can get a more holistic view of those various um items that need her attention some additional things that Maria can do as well is that and this is something that our customers have been asking for um we've heard from from you all um a lot on this and that's being able to actually view um knowledge articles on behalf of others so you'll notice that she can see various um employees where they're located um those items that just are just hey here's an update it may not necessarily need your your attention it's just a an FYI you know for your information you'll notice this little blue Hub when I hover over it just says here are five updates um for Stephen may as an example okay so one of the employees that she wants to take a look at for example maybe and I'll just show that you can do a search here is maybe Avery and she knows Avery is a full-time employee and she wants to be able to view knowledge articles on behalf of Avery so in this case let's say that Avery is going on on a parental leave of absence as an example Avery could be an employee that's based in London while Maria is based in the U.S so maybe she's not too keen on what the policies are the parental leave policies are um over in the UK so this allows her to actually view that knowledge article on behalf um you know basically Waka guacamole in um in Avery's shoes so to speak um so she can view and guide the guide Avery um based on the policy that applies um to her that UK policy okay so the additional things that you um as we mentioned here on the you on your team it is absolutely configurable um where you can really be able to um to surface up the things that the managers want to see one thing to mention here as well in addition to being able to view knowledge um articles um as that employee this is actually using our action framework that's part of the platform as well so you see these quick actions that the manager can do um just imagine things that your manager may need quick access to maybe they want to be able to quickly create a journey as an example um or submit a um onboarding requests or anything like that you can change and configure this quick action menu for those tasks that are um top of mind for for your managers okay the last section that we have as um as Krista mentioned is the manager library and this is really just pulling all of the great um content that we have a part as a part of our employee Center Pro so in this case these are resources and tools um that we want to display to Maria um you know so example maybe timely announcements to help her plan for the quarter ahead you can see we have various knowledge articles that are available to her um to view we also have things that are helping her grow as a leader so personalized content that we're sharing with her we're um that we can give her more information about learning how to grow um grow as a as a manager and as a leader we're also showing things like um upcoming events so things that are specific to Maria you may have some manager enablement that's coming up um and we can Surface this and allow her to to plan to attend those sessions additional things that we have and again this is all part of what's a part of employee Center Pro today is um helpful resources and things that allow her to invest in herself so not only managing her team understanding how to take those team team members through various Journeys but also how she can help grow herself as a leader so you'll notice the various links to Quick links we have to acknowledge articles and various information for her some additional things um that I'll mention and again um showing you the art of the possible of what we have have um configured in our um our demo data here is you may have things that managers um like helpful resources things that managers need quick access to so um as an example of managers are hiring you know being able to allow them to quickly open a request for um for a new role on their team or maybe there's um you know internal it's time for or is that time of year where employees are able to um request internal transfers or going through promotions you can really help guide them through the process and provide them with those tools that are available so I know I went through that pretty quickly one of the things we wanted to do as well um in everything that you're seeing here in manager Library can absolutely be config it's configurable as well um so what we've heard from a lot of our customers is you know giving them um access to other tools so obviously SharePoint or your HCM solution or any other tools that they may use in their day-to-day this is also a great place to be able to to store um to store this information and have it readily available for the managers so there I'll pause for a moment and check in with my team with Krista um pratik and Kamara just based on um comments and questions that are coming in through the through the um the Q a I see I know I imagine you guys have been busy great questions and and just a reminder you know it's a lot easier for us to make sure we answer everyone if it's in Q a so it doesn't get lost in the in the thread of the chat um so if anyone has a question um that they want to make sure we answer please use that q a um we've been trying to answer through typing it on here but I can maybe just pull out a couple General themes you know we've had a few questions around Integrations or scheduling meetings and Outlook 365 so I'll just maybe give kind of some commentary and in general terms and and since it might cover a few different questions so if you're using any Integrations into the servicenow platform through you know integration Hub or any kind of out of the box Integrations from something like uh built into the HR product for example um manager Hub can leverage those we do expect that the inner the data kind of comes in through the integration to leverage a lot of those configurations so um you know that in terms of out of the box configurations is something to keep in mind but let's say you're pulling information in from another tool that you want to surface to the manager here you can use that in those configurations um I think there was some a couple of specific questions around uh Outlook and scheduling so we don't have a an out of box feature yet for any kind of direct scheduling on a calendar um but we do have some in the platform some Integrations with Outlook 365 so um I know like you know some of our journey products have some scheduling and things like that in the portal so it's um it's something if you wanted to do a little bit of customization there's some some stuff set up on the back end for you it's just not natively like out of the box in manager Hub um if if there's things like that also I'll just mention that you'd love to see us in hands that you didn't see here just a reminder that in our community site um where you probably found this webinar under those community resources there's an idea portal we do keep an eye on that as product managers and we want to understand that from uh from you know a planning perspective to see if there's something we should put on our roadmap so uh you know I as product manager I definitely encourage you to post any thoughts there but you know I'm paying attention to things coming in here just to keep notes of things as well um let's see so I think there's a few things here let me look and see you know pratik or Kumar please shout out if there's anything you think we should answer live I know you guys are typing some responses um okay when a manager can proxy is their direct report to search for knowledge is this feature only available manager Hub or can it be used on the employee Center two without the manager hat so good question so um oh there's kind of two parts to that answer one is out of the box so the entry point for it and the way it's all set up out of the box for you to use this through manager hub from that your team list um so you can actually you know follow that from a particular user the functionality um exists within employee Center so if you wanted to add some kind of other entry point maybe a little bit of configuration or customization in employee Center there may be there should be a way you could do that but in terms of having something already set up with an entry point and and all the things connected um out of the box it's in manager Hub but um there there are some some ways to to expose that elsewhere if you want to um is the option to proxy as an employee to view knowledge available on HR Pro so um I if you're asking about kind of the HR professional license it's actually something that you can use um with an employee Center and uh and manager Hub manager Hub requires entitlement to employee Center Pro which HR Pro um typically includes so if you have questions about what you're specifically entitled to definitely encourage you just touch base with your account manager but generally speaking um if you have uh employee Center Pro HR Pro those are the types of things you should be able to to access so but you know always confirm with your account manager if you have particular questions about your license um see anything else we should um answer and then one of the other things I wanted to mention as well and um just from a I'm not sure if Kumar or pratik if you if you if we want to um show anything from a configuration standpoint today um but just I wanted to highlight the quick facts that um that um Crystal was just going through so for um so manager Hub is available via the servicenow store um this is version one V1 if you will um so there will be additional enhancements coming um but as she mentioned we were showing it via the browser today from employee Center um it will employee Center Pro and if it's available today um also via now mobile via quick links you can also see the entitlements um there and what we show we're sharing here in manager Hub as we talked about is built on top of or embedded within employee Center Pro um but there's other pieces that we we pulled in um right so the content delivery the content experiences that we showed that has the personalized um the personalized um and curated information that we're sharing um with the managers so there may be some additional um features um or plugins that that may be um required to um to fully utilize it we have obviously the family release compatibility there as well and all of this is is listed out in the servicenow store details we also have some great resources available so in the actual presentation um deck itself we have a manager um Hub um blog so four ways that the talks about four ways that manager Hub simplifies the role of the manager we have a link out to the actual um um plug-in there on the servicenow store and then we have some great product documentation that takes you through all of the various pieces it also goes into great detail on the pieces that are configurable so we talked about like the um the columns within your team you know being able to configure those it talks about how you can configure the request we'll also be publishing some additional blogs that talk through the configuration of capabilities within manager Hub as well yeah we should have a couple more uh blogs and one specifically on some configuration tips and tricks coming out this week so keep an eye out it'll be on the community site so absolutely so any other questions that have come into the Q a um see there's a question from Jeff around performance but I think it was a follow-up to something else and I'm trying to kind of make sure I understand the context of of the question here because I think he had asked about some helpful resources and quick links so I'm not sure exactly the the um the context of that I don't know if um if Jeff's still around and wants to just put in the Chata an explanation of what that question is we can try to answer it but um I think the question that I saw from him prior was around the helpful resources and manager Library um essentially this is kind of using our content experiences widgets um things like the quick links and the and some other widgets there so I don't think that should have any impact on performance it's a configuration for Content but if if I'm uh understanding the question wrong please feel free to to clarify um yeah so I you know if if folks are interested I think we could show a little something um the admin side I don't know if uh particular Kumar you feel like showing something or or I could um just to give you a sense of there's some new configurations for manager Hub specifically um that we have um but uh but yeah I don't know if you have any thoughts we could we could dive in I mean yeah we we have a great audience and we we are getting a lot of questions on Integrations as well as the events and of course on the knowledge as articles right so maybe we can show if something can be related to uh events so that would be quick to understand I mean easily we can show that sure do you want to do that or would you like one of us to yeah yeah and allow you to let me know yeah one second question lots of good questions and while you're doing that Kumar I just I see Jeff did a did clarify so asking if there's um there's a question about performance on the portal or the whole instance so um if requests uh open by the team had a limit and if there's any concern on performance issues um you know pratika Kumar if you if you feel like adding any color there but I think um I I think the specific you know the requests opened by my team um I don't know if there's a specific performance concern around that I think one thing to be mindful of with manager Hub in general for performance is um a lot of the data that surfaces on that on those pages when the page loads um is based on how many direct reports a manager has so if if your organization had a lot of managers with like two 300 director reports that that could start with you have a lot of requests loading up um I think some some averages in like the more 20 -ish uh director reports that I've seen statistically um it's definitely less of a performance impact but you know particular Kumar if there's any other kind of cautions or considerations or own performance and those team open requests that you want to highlight feel free to yeah sure uh so as of now there is no hard limit on the number of requests uh the requests which gets loaded for a manager so as as Christa mentioned mentioned it it completely depends upon the how many uh direct reportees you have let's say if you have very few and very few requests uh it it will not have that much impact but definitely if your dream is very large let's say uh 200 or 300 reporters and everyone is putting in some requests it it could uh to get some uh we should we could see some performance impact but uh we as an admin manager of admin uh we ask you to be uh very much conscious about how you're configuring your requests so we should we always uh encourage you to uh check your configuration that only the active ones are loaded and only the important request which which makes sense for the managers are loaded and and you're not uh kind of creating a request uh configuration on on a very generic table such as task table so yeah that that is a few uh few things we you can keep in mind uh to uh to keep down the performance issues yeah you know if we have time after showing some of the important configuration we could show you maybe an example of the the team open or class configuration just to give you a sense of right you can be a little specific so it's not just every request right um to be a little bit more uh to prioritize kind of what should be surfacing there if you if you think there's a need there um Clark feel free to share a screen and and then yeah yeah I hope you are able to see the screen just a quick check yes yeah so we have uh a module called manager Hub where you can where the admin can configure data sources related to theme events or the important dates as well as the open requests are the teams uh tab related configuration we are team related okay so we'll just quickly walk through one of the configuration related to important dates which is the events related so we have some out of the box configurations available as part of the application so if you look at these are like out of the box related to events uh one thing we can quickly check which is uh related to uh anniversary or the data path anything that we find yeah so this is like we are showing the uh employees birthdays using the HR core profile table the HR profile table so where you configure the HR profile and we use this user field to understand which field we have to use for the labeling for the first name as well as the email address for that particular employee and we use we can configure like as this is a annual event there is a flag to distinguish whether is it is is it an annual event or non-annual event and for example this data offset will help us to uh show us the events from like the event is happening on the next week so it will start appearing from the event before five days as well as even after even happening happening after two days so that way you'll at least have a one week window to show all the events okay and uh which field we are referring to get the information related to date date of birth so you have to configure that as well and coming to action type and action icon these things like we we would like to take some action when you have an event so and in the prior demo we have shown uh birthday events and they and there is an email action associated with associated with that particular event so we can configure that e labeling or the action as well as the icon to that particular action and you can give some tool tip to understand what is the action related to right so you can do that as well as you can configure labeling as well for any action for example uh you use the employee name like first name last name the full name will display and we'll say that so and so employee has a birthday and today and if you have more than one employee on the same event for the UN particular day we'll use the number of employees uh falling into that particular event for example two employees having a birthday so you can configure that label as this dollar count will represent the count of the employees and this label will help us to understand what type of event so it would be like two employees have a birthday on that particular Employee Service uh on the on the dashboard you will see so this is one quick uh configuration we can go through Kumar we have a a q a might be something we can answer live here so a perfect there's a way to configure a special reminder such as a five-year anniversary or a 10-year anniversary um right so maybe you know this one what we're we're talking about as an example that would be like you know a birthday that it recurs every year we have a work anniversary one but if they wanted a special one at like five years ten years certain Milestones if they wanted like a special message or something like that um I wondered if you want to maybe uh put share any thoughts you had on that or maybe we could show the the anniversary out of box configuration we have right so out of the box configuration we have uh employee anniversaries but if you would like to extend this for like for example five years or 10 years probably you have to add additional condition to it right or you can create a new configuration which is similar to this and maybe you can have it differently labeling to understand I mean to distinguish as a special event right so right the current configuration uh also takes care of the anniversaries so we configured like uh it's like employee has ever canvas free right so that way if you have some certain criteria you can add those conditions in this configuration I mean uh it's advised to have a separate configuration if you would like to extend this yeah and one thing I might add to um you kind of touched on this I think already but um we have the option to have a different type of action action icon right so here we're showing um out of the box it's an email so you could send like an email note saying you know congrats on your work anniversary but you can also um do an a URL and have a different icon so let's say there's I don't know a virtual Kudo board or maybe if the organization allows like sending some kind kind of you know special note or gift or something like that if there's something that is kind of a URL you can also change that um so you know maybe if it's um either the way that your company wants to do this or if for those special Milestones five year tenure you wanted something different if you created a an additional configuration for important dates on those ones then that would be an option too yeah so in when you select the URL you have suppose to provide that URL details and we have these offsets like if it is a day wise you can configure how many days per year and how many days after that event should display and we we are giving the option to like week as well as month also like based on that it will start displaying those events up to certain period yeah exactly um what do you all think about maybe showing quickly the team requests configuration I know had some questions about that so maybe we can show an example of you know the team requests if if you want um just the types of configurations you might for the for the types of requests that would show up in that in that section yeah yeah so I'll just quickly show so as we have out of the box configurations for team request as well so I'd like to open one so we can go through so this is talking about this particular configuration talks about the HR case where uh we we have a certain criteria to display uh which which fall falls under the request category right like if it is related to co I mean HR case then we we are not I mean we are showing those like which are in progress as well so here also we have similar configuration where you can uh configure the labeling for the particular requests like uh what what type of request you are showing uh and as as well as we have multiple record display label as well so it will I mean some of the configuration which is similar which are similar to important dates but technically these are you limited to team requests right you have to configure the team request related to like which table we are referring and what are the conditions you are applying yeah so like in this example Umar right this is for HR cases we've set up some conditions for it has to be you know a particular State um and we're gonna just you know for the sake of this um this out of the box example we've excluded the employer relations Coe so if you wanted to show only certain Coes or only certain States like work in progress or if you also wanted to show like requested state or not um you know those are some some conditions you can set in that condition Builder um we have kind of another one that's around like it hardware and software again you kind of add those conditions but um if you're concerned about like the volume you can you know either add less or more conditions or if you want to provide more visibility you can add an additional lens so um this is it you know when you go in and and and edit it you can add conditions or you can you know make certain ones inactive and things like that if you don't want to use the ones we have out of box so hopefully that helps give you a sense of you know you can decide how general or specific but if you anticipate you know a lot of requests or a lot of direct reports on a manager's team um having a lot of our class being a little bit more a little bit more prioritized and not overly General that'll help um with the volume as well as still kind of giving managers that sense of priority right not overwhelming and what the information but showing them what it is you think they might need or want to see um well Shonda just you know check on time we're kind of coming towards the end um do we want to wrap up demo um and kind of do a little bit of wrap up thanks Kumar that was great yeah loving to see the admin side and understanding the configurations yeah absolutely and thanks team I know Assad note from Pamela saying it's great to see the admin side and it absolutely is um always great to to really see it so just a reminder as well um there will be a survey that is it will be posted um momentarily um there were a lot of great question questions that were coming through as we went throughout um but just to wrap up um it's really hopefully you um see the value in um in utilizing manager Hub and understand why we focused on um the the people leader Persona we do believe that this is yet another experience layer right great managers make the employee experience much better as well so with manager Hub our intent was to really help managers to focus um Focus their attention on things that that need their attention um and surface that information up and give them more confidence and being a great people leader um so as you can see as well through what we showed with the admin it is configurable so you can really make it relevant for your people leaders within your organization um so with that we'll um I'll have the live on servicenow team post the actual link to the survey out in the um the chat so please take time to give us that feedback and we really appreciate the time and engagement that you've given us today thank you thank you all really appreciate your time showing up all the great questions and feedback um it was great to connect with you all and hope uh hope this was helpful information absolutely
