welcome to another episode of Glide chat my name is Mike Lombardo CEO of Glide fast Consulting sitting here with the one and only Matt Bart a chief delivery officer at Glide fast Matt how are you Mike this is amazing this is unbelievable I mean look at this weather location dude where are we Bozeman Montana Big Sky we got people ziplining behind us mountain biking people are uh paddle boarding in Lakes it's unbelievable fishing fishing fly fishing I mean this is unbelievable we had this Vision you know you and I back in December like you know what knowledge looks like it's not going to be what it used to be this year again we need to get these these these team members together and we need to have some fun and unwind a little bit and uh coming out of the pandemic we really need coming out of it together you know I mean it's one thing through slack through Zoom stuff like that but we've got to get people together right we got to get face to face to face man have some drinks have some fun have some laughs and then the collaboration right oh my God like I think like the beauty of this is not just a party event or it's not just a work event right we have the party we're having fun but we're also I mean we're talking we're breaking up into the centers of excellence we're breaking up to the teams I mean my goal and I said this day one is like guys I want every Department in every center of excellence and every offering I want us to come out better than when we came in exactly and we're getting that I mean we're getting that just just in the bond that we're the collaboration that's going on inside of these events too I mean the passion that we're seeing right it's the questions that people are asking people jumping in and building on top of each other's ideas and stuff like that I mean it's just amazing and then the hackathon oh the hackathon yeah day two tonight um but I mean to seeing the the GCU people yeah being involved the graduates there no working with some of our senior folks and putting together some great ideas and products that would potentially push out there I mean that is that's it man and so many people are coming up to me like you know like man I worked at all these other companies and consulting firms and never has anybody done anything this big and this generous for employees and you know I I feel yeah I feel like it's we made you know it's generous and like it's definitely you know something we're doing for the team but ultimately our customers are going to benefit from this and glide fast the organization is going to benefit because people are going to come out of here you know ready to work it's you know smarter their relationships with some projects are going to be oh my God these projects being able to read people's minds a little bit just a 45 minute talk in the room or you know at a party or something like that getting to know people yeah um you know they're going to connect to a whole other level when they're on those projects and being able to talk with clients and help each other out on those things I mean that's that's what this is about yeah networking piece of it and and really understanding your team member or the person on your left the person on your right as you go into these things so um I mean that's that's just something I'm so excited about 100 so the big question is are we going to be doing this next year yeah we got to do it oh yeah we're doing this next year we're going to go next year Mike are you going to beat this I don't know I don't know I dude I don't know if we should beat that I don't know if it gets any better but everybody's gonna be talking about Bozeman yeah but uh it's gonna be crazy well thanks for joining me on glide chat this is the this is the first one in Montana and man we're gonna be uh be doing a lot of a lot of gladjats up here so thank you man great time all right take care [Music] thank you foreign [Music]
