hello and welcome today we'll be talking about some new Tokyo highlights within the security operations space and we'll focus the conversation on the major security Incident Management application my name is Derek Ricketts I'm a solution consultant here specializing in security I want to First kick things off with an agenda I'll cover an overview of the major security Incident Management application itself and then talk about some of the new features exclusive to Tokyo release which include a new record Association options and the ability to link and unlink additional record types within our workspace foreign provides a dedicated workspace for major security incident managers to coordinate incident response gives us all the manager all the necessary resources needed in that single pane of glass which include collaboration workflows via Microsoft teams additionally we have SharePoint our evidence management via SharePoint Integrations and then we have task management options for security I.T and non-it roles especially when kicking off different tasks related to our incidents and providing all of the communication channels needed to mitigate this major security incident and then everything we're doing within the workspace including all of our metrics can be tracked in a useful summary and divide it up into widgets all within our workspace foreign now let's take a look to see what's new to Tokyo msim enables The Incident Commander to better direct digital Battlefield so that means again providing all of those resources and dedicated workspace but then within Tokyo we further enhance that process so we allow additional options to link record types within our workspace including security incidents remediation tasks and then security cases which is a part of the threat intelligence offerings the ability to link and unlink different record types to the major security Incident Management and then on the other hand we can unlink records from the major security incident if there's records that aren't important or relevant that way we can sort through the ones that matter even quicker and more efficiently so going into the msim workspaces so we see a number of different metrics related to the incident including the affected assets users and affected locations along with all the timing metrics is taking us to resolve the security incident so that way we're we're kept up to date with all the latest and important statistics related to the internet but to an further enhance that a part of those the New Tokyo release we'll be able to link those record types right here which include again those security incidents the remediation task and the security cases so we can further enhance that single pane of glass and bring you all of the relevant relevant incidents that are needed in order to mitigate this Ms there's major security incident even quicker than ever before foreign I'd like to thank everyone for watching as we went through some of those New Tokyo highlights if there's any questions feel free to email me at derek.rick it's servicenow.com or visit us at www.servicenow.com to view more of our security operations offerings and products
