hello good morning friends my name of my is tips and tricks as a service sound developer so without further ado let's get into it so the first step and trick that i would like to share with my friends is the studio code search if you have your service on studio to develop custom applications you are probably already familiar with this feature but for system administrators and newer developers however searching for a code regardless of the scope has never been easier this is a fantastic feature if you're looking for a particular code snippet example a class a function even a comment especially for something in the global scope to access the code search utility navigate to studio module of the system applications application menu uh select an application first but do not worry you won't be making any modifications to the customer and you can change your scope later in the top right side of the screen select code search in the box that appears enter your search term and select the checkbox labeled search in all applications and alert is do not forget to change the scope back to whatever it was after the code search is complete so let me damage navigate to my instance so here i have my instance open i'm gonna go in type studio and under systems application i'm gonna open the studio service on studio and then select a custom application which i've created test and then on the top right side there is a utility called core search you click on it it appears with the box today i'm going to search for [Music] maximum duration and check the box search in our application and click on search you can see there's a progress bar that's running through the system and checking all the different utilities or components that have that group and now the search is complete and it says there are nine results for maximum duration in all applications otherwise two of them are scripting clouds two of them are business room four client scripts and one ui script so as you can see it's very easy you can always expand on those to find out which client script has that a word and if you're looking for that particular uh component and then navigate to that particular client script or any other component in the backend so that's how you can do code search for all the applications in service lab happy coding guys see you in my next video [Music] you
