Using UI Policy for Date variables can save you time and effort
Hello everyone,
I'm here to share with you a simple way if you want to force a user on a catalog item you created to enter a due date that is after 180 or 30 days for example. I've been struggling with this for quite some time, trying different client scripts until I was able to solve my problem with a UI Policy and a short script.
I have a catalog item with two initial choices:
- Creation of a new card
- Modification of existing card
If the user selects "creation of new card" then I want to force delivery to be after 180 days from the current date, and if a user selects "Modification of existing card" then I want to force delivery to be after 30 days from the current date. Below is my UI Policy along with the short script used.
