ServiceNow PDI Restore
[Music] thank you hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching I am back from vacation and yes you haven't seen any videos in about a week maybe four days for a business day that is and I wanted to share with you I swear this happens every time I go on vacation over here my PDI it expired on Thursday I was off all week uh Thursday it gave me the expiration notice I guess and I missed it by after yeah the Saturday it was supposed to expire but why did I make a video about this because thank you servicenow I logged back into my developer account and uh interestingly I didn't know this was possible before but let's check this out there was a backup of my instance on July 24th which was yesterday and I was able to click restore from that backup so that's what you're seeing here at the instances restoring it said it could take up to eight hours to restore but I can't tell you how many uh servicenow Community posts I've seen of how do I get my PDI back I lost my personal developer instance I back up everything to GitHub most of it I'm still working on a strategy for actual data and stuff like that but this is huge this is a big deal servicenow it's a free service that they offer to give you a PDI in the first place but the fact that there was a backup I had a moment of panic when I got the email and uh hopefully this is going to restore I'm not going to wait eight hours to post this but wanted to share it with you wanted to say I'm back look for a video you every day Monday through Friday on service now and then I'll fill in between with other videos I appreciate everyone that watches I hope you found this helpful if you didn't know about the PDI restore now you know um if you did like this please share it subscribe you know like the video share it with somebody who might be interested and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Music]
