hey thanks coming back welcome to servicenow news with jace i'm going to go over what i thought was interesting this last week first up we have brad tilton presenting add a button to the list component on the new next experience he was inspired by a video that arnold coy had created so i recommend checking that out uh last week the let's code happy hour started up again with drew pronoff earl and chuck they're building some elgo stock trading app i don't know if that's a web 3 thing or something else i haven't watched it but i've been meaning to get to it um generally it's good content go check it out tokyo is coming out and the folks on the developer relation team made a post about all these features that they're excited to talk about and show i'm excited about some of them too but i think they missed a few and so i added this slide of data the demo data i can't wait to see what's in there the builder updates are going to be fantastic and the anonymized stuff for subproduction could be a really big thing for keeping pii data out of sub productions can't wait to see more and i hope to hear about it before it comes out speaking of tokyo there's some events i want to highlight on august 4th we got early access day on august 5th the let's code happy hour we'll be going over the ecmascript updates which only works in scopes but you know progress is progress so that's fantastic ben forest from one of the training teams at servicenow has been has been having office hours on linkedin at 6 pm central so if you're looking for something to do tuesday evenings pop on there for a couple hours jeff pierce posted a comic and i always think they're great to highlight uh this one's called heatwave and talks about some sort of anyways just go look at it servicenow has made a new offering called impact what is it it sounds like it's a tiered support um thing that you can purchase on top of your current licensing agreement uh what do you get it sounds like you get some sort of team of experts to help ensure you're getting the most value for your product is it worth it i don't know you tell me if you are a customer of it i'd love to hear about your results sounds like it's been in beta for a while and there's 300 customers currently pranav uh i think this may be the same pronoun that was on the last let's code happy hour modified this code penny found making this really cool login screen which did something kind of like the login for the servicenow community site which is kind of cool um there's a video about how we did it and i found very insightful ryan glitzy of glad fast made this video in under five minutes going over how app engine studio works and anything cut down to less than five minutes i think is a nice bite size bit of content i watched the double speed because i don't got time for five minutes maybe you guys do but check it out and then uh louis luca bellis posted a video about how to set up a delegate and service now if you need to convey this to somebody this is a great video to share because it just walks through how to create a delegate how to delete a delegate and that's fantastic to help people help themselves last but not least um tim woodruff shared this commit strip comic from like a year like two years ago about the no code dream and it talks about how there's some limitations on the no code and low code solutions there's a great thread on linkedin where there's some discussion back and forth if you haven't chimed in there i would highly encourage you to because that's where the conversation's happening so if you'd like to see more of these subscribe down below and i'll see you guys next week
