Introduction to the Digital Services Forum
the digital services forum meets bi-weekly and hour-long web meetings but we also hold special events our vision is to be a leader in digital transformation thought leadership our mission is enabling our members to drive their own digital transformations we share work in the form of discussions papers a central servicenow instance and also videos we're hosted by the servicenow enterprise architecture team our executive sponsor is jeff lubay avp of ams enterprise architecture let's hear from some of our members i used to be a customer just like you i had a hard time working with the business i.t engineering of how do we all work together and deliver one service in this day and age it's no longer okay to just have a product it's got to be the customer experience the employee experience and what are ways that we can all work with each other have a common language and learn from each other to make the world work excited to be connected directly with customers trying to understand their journey through digital transformation we want to try to achieve success and i think the public exposure of the forum through social media can help our customers understand how this data can be helpful for them so they can hear from their peers and what's most valuable to them as they continue this journey with servicenow i'm most excited about building community that can create a book of knowledge around the csdm and other aspects of the platform we need real world examples counter examples and usage patterns i'm most excited about opening up the group to all different industries having a commitment from our enterprise architect team to share more of their real world use cases that we can all learn from i believe those two things more than anything will help us to take our forum to the next level to hear that what others are working on and to see that their issues are similar to their own to see all the many ways there are of solving them i think the value is again sharing the lessons learned understanding what customers are dealing with in their industry using relevant content as they're going through this journey i think is where most of our members are going to find the most value the main value forum members get which is different from other groups is consistency and back to those real world use cases digital transformation isn't something that you do and you move on it's something that you have to gradually immerse yourself into the digital services forum provides that immersion to help practitioners start to think differently i hope it becomes a true community-led endeavor how do we start bringing that industry into digital services it's not just i.t any longer if i look at when i fly on a delta aircraft it's that total experience if i go to starbucks i know from the minute my app to when i walk out that door with my green iced tea it's a delightful experience we want to help all of you serve your customers in the same way more linkage to customers between customer and customer so that they can share that tribal knowledge i do see us focusing more on industries so specific industries and how our industry solutions can help our customers especially outside of it which is an area where servicenow is heavily expanding you know on that unified platform you leverage hyper automation and low code no code as a foundation of servicenow very excited about the forum we'll see you out there
