The Document Intelligence dashboard provides valuable metrics for Document Intelligence usage and value. These metrics help view, analyze, and measure the use and effectiveness of Document Intelligence.

Accessing the dashboard

To access the Document Intelligence Usage dashboard, navigate to Document Intelligence > Dashboard.

(If accessing via the Self-Sevice menu, search for “Document Intelligence Usage” or select the “Document Intelligence” Group filter.)

Dashboard overview

The dashboard contains two tabs: DocIntel Usage and DocIntel Value.

DocIntel Usage

DocIntel Usage shows transactions and usage metrics.

This view helps admins and process owners view, analyze, and measure the usage of DocIntel. They can monitor the number of transactions, tasks and task definitions. It can also be used to stay compliant with licensing based on transactions.

DocIntel Value

DocIntel Value shows metrics related to the extracted values.

This view allows for more details on the effectiveness of Document Intelligence. It shows the total number of values extracted in the last year and the trend for accuracy and keystrokes.

Accuracy is a score between 0 and 1. When the value had a suitable prediction, it has a score of 1 and 0 otherwise. It is stored in the ‘Exact match of Candidate’ field on the Extracted Values [di_extracted_value] table.

Average accuracy shows that the product is effectively automating the process. Over time, the AI models get better, and accuracy is expected to go up. The solution is effective when this metric is trending upward.

Keystrokes are the number of keystrokes the agent had to type to extract the value.

A lower average number of keystrokes shows that the predictions are more relevant. The solution is effective when this metric is trending downward.
